The fall almost made Jay hurt himself, but it was the least of his concern. He looked around to check if anyone noticed him. When there was none, he gathered all his courage and went upstairs. But he didn't expect that he would be caught by Pam.

Therefore, Pam madly ordered the bodyguards to drive Jay out and release the Tibetan mastiff.

This was the reason why Jay fled awkwardly. Not long after he ran out of the gate, he was caught by the police and was taken to the police station.

For Charles to understand why Pam couldn't grant his request, she briefly told him what happened last night.
