are you so confident?" Chester asked.

He wasn't completely sure of himself, but Angelina's faith in him had never wavered. She wasn't afraid he'd fail at all. "In my eyes, you're the best of the best."

After lunch, Chester headed off to work. Angelina lay in bed and admired the hibiscus tree that was outside the window.

The flowers were in full bloom. The branches were almost touching the windowsill. If she reached out just a little, she would be able to touch them.

One of the blooms was slightly further away from the window. She knelt on the bay window seat and reached forward. It took her some time before she finally managed to reach the flower.

Once she managed to grab it, she twisted her hand and picked the flower off of the branch. She held the pink hibiscus in her palm and smiled under the sun.

Chester was on a phone call downstairs. He managed to catch sight of this as he looked up. He was staring fixedly at Angelina before she shut the window.

He'd never felt so attached to a woman before. He'd like nothing more than to spend the

entire day with her.

Damn it! How could she have stuck her hand out in the cold wind like that? How infuriating!

"Remember to add a couple more passkeys. Don't leave any traces," William reminded Louis over the phone.

"I've already done that," the latter responded.

"Chester is a professional. I've seen the software he launched. It's incredibly well-designed. With his abilities, solving your passcodes should be a piece of cake." Louis scoffed. "You think too little of me, Mr. Prescott."

Once the call was over, William felt ecstatic. "If Chester's software remains inactive for half a month more, he wouldn't be able to make a profi In fact, he'd even end up with a loss."

"I don't care if we lose the lawsuit. I just want to drag this out." He sighed. "Let's just hope. Louis doesn't disappoint us. He hates Chester more than any one of us. He'll do his best to give him hell." Chapte 76

Chester tried to break through Louis' security barriers, but the latter had managed to surprise him. It made him more determined and competitive.

"You should take a break." Joshua handed Chester a glass of water.

However, Chester didn't move. His eyes remained glued to his computer. "Interesting."

"What is? How can you say that when the two of you are like this? The client will come knocking on our door in a few days. We've only managed to pacify them because of Alexander. That won't be the case after a few days. "Just give me three days-I'll get everything sorted by then," said Chester.

"We're a law-abiding software development studio. Please don't cause any trouble."

"I won't leave any traces."

Louis dropped by in the evening. He drove a luxury car and had two bodyguards following closely behind him.

Joshua and Chester were going mad from sleep deprivation. Upon hearing footsteps, the latter shut his laptop and whipped his head around.

"What are you doing here, Louis?"

Louis had a cigarette in between his lips. He scanned the basement and knocked over a trash can, spilling ash and dust everywhere.

"You don't need to try so hard, Chester. You will never beat me."

"You should learn how to be humble."

Louis waved a card at them. "This is for Angie and my daughter."

"Your daughter?"

Joshua tried to stop him, but he ended up getting punched by Louis's bodyguards.

"This is between me and him," said Louis. "I don't want to involve any innocent bystanders, Joshua. However, if you insist on meddling, I'll have to resort to violent means.

"Why can't you just stay miserable? What are you working so hard for?" Louis directed those words at Chester.

Despite saying so, Louis had to give it to him. Only Chester Whitmore was capable of producing such brilliant software in a rundown place like this.

He placed the card on the table. "I'd love to see ou penniless, but I'd hate for Angie and my daughter to suffer alongside you.
