Meeting the High Moon Pack

I feel like a princess in this dress, it just sweeps the floor as I walk. Jasmine had thought of everything, nude wedges, undergarments matching my dress colour, no words der the guys said I wouldn’t need to pack to come here! I have a surprise for my Alpha’s tonight. That has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? I think to myself... My Alpha’s, now who’s feeling possessive, I let out a light giggle at my own thoughts and am met with a questioning look on both the twins faces as we stand before the doors to enter the main pack dining room I think the twins called it. “Just thinking of something funny that’s all, I think I’m ready.” As I finish speaking the twins push the doors open and the room quietens, everyone at the tables stand and nod in respect. The twins lead me to a long table at the top of the dining room, decorations adorning the ceilings and walls of this room too in celebration of my birthday.

We reach our table and the twins wait for me to sit then take the seats either side of me.

Jas is seated a few seats over right in the centre of the table. Jas elegantly stands, Joseph her husband standing with her, her hand resting on his bicep. The love just radiates from these two, I would love to have that.

She gains the attention of the room with ease and proceeds to address the room.

“Welcome High Moon Pack members, tonight we gather for none other than your future Lunas birthday. Cierra Cardle, as you will have noticed she is human, she has agreed to let our future Alpha’s show her what life as a pack could be like.”

She lifts a glass and the resounding ‘happy birthday Luna’ can be heard around the room, I take a deep breath and stand. The twins seem shocked but stand at my sides without a thought.

“Thankyou everyone for the warm welcome,” I start sounding a lot more confident than I am. “Luna, Alpha, the packhouse looks amazing. Thank you very much. I have decided that in just the short space of time that I have known Ari.. erm your future Alpha’s, that I don’t want to be without them. I Cierra Cardle though human, do accept Ajax and Aries Reign future Alpha’s of High Moon Pack as my fated, as my mates. I would be honoured to be by their side.

I feel a small tingly feeling run through me and feel stronger somehow.

Aries scoops me up right there and takes my lips in his. When he finishes Ajax does exactly the same. The pack members cheer and clink glasses, “You have just made us the happiest guys on this planet, baby you are amazing we promise to do everything in our power to make you see how special you are every day! Thank You baby.” Ajax says in to my ear. I look up and see our group of friends stood in front of the table. “Oh em gee Cici, I wasn’t expecting that! Why didn’t you tell me you was going to do that! When did you decide?” Rach scolds.

“Uhm the other day at tea when you were all talking about your wolves and how they feel about me. I just thought, I love this crazy family dynamic we have already and how I just fit in, so not only was I going to accept the twins I wanted to meet all of your wolves and maybe... um” I stutter

“What is it beautiful?” Aries looks at me slightly worried.

“Well I thought maybe if you’d have me I’d like to maybe talk about becoming one of you?” I say.

The twins’ smiles grow wider and Rach and the girls give out a little squeal of joy.

“Cici let’s get this over with so we can get you back to ourselves.”

Ajax says and the group start to disperse to the tables they had come from.

The twins explained that they wanted to keep tonight a surprise for me to make up for the way they acted when I received the flowers from Brad, but the gang wanted to spend some of the day with me and they agreed as their mother was running late sorting the decorations, they said that everyone left school just after us that’s why we went straight to our room.

A Lot of the younger generations say at the tables I recognise from school. As soon as the meal was over the twins and I thanked everyone for coming to celebrate with us and excused ourselves.

Our friends met us outside and we made our way to the forest at the side of the packhouse. A few feet in, the twins tell me our friends are going to go behind trees, but nudity is normal to all of them because of them shifting etc. But they don’t want the men changing in front of me, I laugh a little at that but agree with them. They will stay with me and undress when I’m ready they will all shift into their wolves.

I’m nervous to see what they all look like in wolf form but I’m not scared. I nod to the twins once they are shipped down and they start to shift, the quick crack of bones making me feel a little nauseous. Within 20 seconds there are 2 stunning black wolves standing in front of me, Azrid has a white patch on his left foot and Arcane has the same patch on his right foot, they stand even taller than Rach’ wolf did! They’re so majestic I step closer to them as the twins haven’t moved and I put my arms out for each to lay their giant heads on my shoulder and they comply. I wrap my arms as far around them as I can to hug them and they both nuzzle my neck a little, I turn to one side and give Azrid a small kiss on his nose and then do the same to Arcane. The guys step away a little and more wolves walk up behind them. They’re all beautiful. I recognised Rach’s wolf from the first time I saw one of these humongous scary beasts, I didn’t get to appreciate her then, now they just looked beautiful, fur shining so elegantly in the moonlight. I noticed the twins’ eyes had changed, Arcane? I asked, seeing golden looking eyes. The stunning black wolf bowed its head to me, Aries wolf had taken over I say hi and snuggled in to him, he’s so warm, he practically purrs in to me. The twins have been telling me their wolves have been dying to push through to meet me, I feel wet at the side of my head and a little nudging. I turn from Arcane to see Azrid nuzzling at me for some attention. He doesn’t seem happy that Aries wolf is getting my full attention. I give him a small laugh and throw my arms around his neck as far as I can. Hugging him tight, his eyes are the same gold as Arcane’s which is strange because they have very different eye colours in human form. I leave the twins and walk around the others running my hands over their very different fur colours.

I run my hand along the side of Rach’ wolf and she runs a little circle around me. This girl is as captivating as a wolf as she is human. When I finish looking over everyone’s wolves in awe I go back to the twins who look at everyone and nod as they disappear back behind trees to shift back to their human forms. The twins shift back too and are so excited to tell me that their wolves loved the attention and were so happy to finally meet me and for me to see how handsome they are.

We all walk back to the packhouse together go back into the hall and do a little mingling even though the twins can’t wait to get me to themselves Jas has gone through the trouble of decorating and inviting the whole pack so it’s only right we mingle with other pack members and make formal introductions.

Some people are truly excited to meet me, others just roll with the pleasantries but, I’m not worried.... you can’t win them all.
