Chapter 1047 Live Together
Looking at the variety of food on the table, Lena choked.
“Aren’t you angry that I didn’t respect your feelings? Why did you come
back?” She said.
As soon as she spoke, Lena herself was stunned. She clearly wanted to say
something else, how...
Gideon glanced at her and calmly said, “If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t have
to go through all this. Even if I am angry, what can I do?”
Joe could do anything for Charlotte, so what couldn’t he do?
Lena turned away. “I can handle these things myself. As for this child...”
Enter title...
“I know the child is yours, but I’m also his father.” Gideon handed the spoon
to Lena. He had already calmed down.
He was so calm that Lena felt embarrassed. She evaded his gaze, and for a
moment, she didn’t know what to say, so she took the spoon and started
eating.
Gideon stood by, watching her eat with tender eyes.
Lena didn’t know that when Gideon walked out of the ward, he was very
angry. However, he hadn’t gone far when he ran into a heavily bleeding
pregnant woman. Doctors and her family members were rushing her through

the lobby.
The moment she passed by Gideon, he heard the suppressed cries of pain
from the pregnant woman.
Gideon thought of how they became acquainted with Charlotte, and his anger
dissipated immediately.
At this moment, Lena was under immense psychological and physical
pressure. Even if she said those words, it was unintentional. Compared to her
stress, what did his anger amount to?
After finishing dinner, Gideon quickly tidied up everything on the table and sat
down on the sofa.
Lena looked at him in surprise and asked, “Why aren’t you leaving?”
“Of course, I’m here to take care of you,” Gideon said naturally. How could he
leave Lena alone in the hospital?
Lena frowned, “I can handle being here alone... You should go back.”
“Impossible,” Gideon glanced at her and firmly refused.
After a few disputes, Lena had no choice but to let Gideon sleep on the sofa
for the night.
Early the next morning, the doctor came to inform Lena that she could be
discharged.
“Your physical condition is fine, and there are no problems with the current

examination. Just make sure to rest more.” The doctor handed a list of
instructions to Lena. Before Lena could reach out to take it, Gideon had
already taken it first.
When they walked to the parking lot together, Gideon suddenly said to Lena,
“Starting today, we’ll live together.”
“No,” Lena immediately objected.
Gideon couldn’t help but laugh. “You’re pregnant now. Can you take care of
yourself?”
Lena used to be busy day and night, let alone in this special situation.
Lena wanted to argue but found herself unable to come up with a reason.
“I can hire a nanny,” Lena thought for a moment and said.
Gideon sneered, “Can you get used to having a stranger around you?”
Because of past experiences, Lena didn’t like having strangers in her
personal space, so she had never hired a nanny.
Seeing her hesitation, Gideon continued, “Besides, I understand your
situation very well. I’m sure I can take better care of you than a nanny.”
