You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 472

"Thank you for coming. It's been a busy day."

Xenia was also wearing a red dress, but it was not as complicated as Coralie's, and the hair accessories on her were a lot fewer.

She had done her makeup early in the morning and started to busy herself with the wedding.

"Not at all. Actually, Skylar has done most of the things. I just helped to greet the guests," Xenia explained.

They walked all the way from backstage to the banquet hall, and the lights in the hallway gradually became brighter.

The wedding hall was filled with various decorations, bouquets and candles, and there was a soft and lovely ambience.

In front of Coralie was a long, red carpet. Skylar was also dressed in his suit, standing at the other end of the red carpet.

Xenia saw the gesture of the emcee not far away, asking them to walk over. Hence, she gently pushed Coralie on her back and whispered, "Let's go."

Coralie then took her first step on the red carpet with her embroidered shoes.

When she took this step, the music around her began to play. All the reporters who had been invited set up their camera devices, were ready to record this moment.

Coralie walked towards Skylar, one step at a time.

She looked at the man standing in front of her. After going through so much, they were finally going to get married.

It had been 12 years since they first met each other. In these 12 years, they had been separated and had experienced death. Finally, they had gotten through all the hardships and could finally be together.

The red carpet wasn't too long. When Coralie arrived at the end of the red carpet, she didn't go over. Instead, she went to the opposite side of Skylar and stood on the other red carpet. Seeing that the groom and bride were ready, the priest asked,

"Skylar Holland. Do you take Coralie Chariott to be your wife? Do you promise to be faithful to her in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love her and to honor her all the days of your life?"

"Yes, I do."

"Coralie Chariott, do you take Skylar Holland to be your husband? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and to honor him all the days of your life?

"Yes, I do."

They had finally become husband and wife!

Skylar walked over to Coralie, raised her face and kissed her passionately.

This was different from their rehearsal.

Coralie was caught off guard.

"Mmm...."

There were many guests watching beneath the stage. Coralie was trying to push him away with her hand, but Skylar secured her head with his hand and kissed her even harder!

After a very long time, Skylar slowly raised his head and saw that Coralie's face was already as red as a tomato. He smiled and said, "Honey, I love you."

"Congratulations!"

"Congratulations!"

After the kiss, all the guests raised their glasses to congratulate them.

After the ceremony, Coralie changed her clothes and accompanied Skylar to have a toast with the guests.

They went to each of the tables one by one. When they walked to the last three tables located at the back, Coralie saw a few strange but familiar faces; she couldn't recall who they were. "Coralie, you and the president finally got married!" A chubby girl with curly hair remarked.

"Yeah, the president said that he would invite us to the wedding after graduation, but we've waited for more than ten years," another boy in a suit added.

"That's right. Last time, the president said that he would marry you right after graduation, but it has been postponed for such a long time," someone nearby added.

As they were talking, some memories flashed in Coralie's mind, and she finally remembered them!

They were her friends from the Student Council back in university!

"Qiana, Lucy, Arthur..." Coralie called out their names one by one, and the memories of her university life were coming back.

"Yes. I told them this back when I was in university. I didn't expect them to wait so long," Skylar said helplessly as he held Coralie in his arms.

"What do you mean?" Coralie was confused.

"At that time, my plan was to marry you as soon as you graduated from university, but I didn't expect... you to block me all of a sudden." Skylar pinched Coralie's face as he told her what happened in the past.

"That's what you were planning to do?"

"Yes, actually there was more than that. I had picked out the wedding dress and the location, but who knew that you went missing after that." Coralie was actually a little embarrassed after knowing about this.

She did not know that he had done so much for her.

"Coralie, the president has been after you since a long time ago. Do you know why you were accepted into the Student Council?"

Someone in the crowd asked, then the others immediately followed along and shouted, "Why?"

"Your admission was actually appointed by the president. Why do you think that there was nobody who pursued you in the Student Council? It was because the president had said that whoever chases after you will have his leg broken!"

"That's right! That's right!"

"Yes! Back then, none of us dared to chase after you!"

As soon as one person spoke, the others echoed.

Coralie gazed at Skylar, who was also gazing at her with tenderness in his eyes. She pouted her lips and said, "I didn't expect you to abuse your rights. No wonder; I was so pretty back then but nobody chased after me."

"Even if there was anyone who chased after you, I am not worried at all," Skylar replied firmly. "No matter what the process is like, the ending had already been set. You are destined to be my wife." Skylar leaned down and kissed her again, and again.

The End.
