Chapter 6
“Didn’t I tell you? Don’t believe her pranks. She’s crazy every day!”
Daniel pulled him to the bag with force and opened it right in front of him.
The truth was about to be revealed, and I covered my violently beating heart.
Finally, he would know that I was innocent.
Henry’s eyes widened instantly and he was stunned for two seconds.
Before Daniel could speak, he rushed out the door with a look of anxiety and concern on his face.
I was so excited that I shed tears and followed him into the car.
Watching him step the accelerator to the bottom, speeding reduced the time by half.
His deep eyes were filled with worry, and his knuckles were turning white from gripping the wheel with too much force.
Soon, the car arrived at our community.
Finally, he was about to enter the door.
As long as he went home, he would be able to see the clues I left for him.
I ran along with him.
But his footsteps stopped in front of another door.
There was a rapid knock on the door.
For five minutes, the patience on Henry’s face slowly disappeared, replaced by anxiety and irritability.
Finally, the door opened.
Xena was wearing a silk nightgown and rubbing her sleepy eyes.
The moment she saw Henry, she smiled gently and concernedly.
“Henry? Why are you back?”
The next second, Henry breathed a sigh of relief and hugged her tightly in his arms. “Thank god you’re okay. I was scared to death…”
My beating heart sank to the bottom.
The feeling of despair drowned me in a sea of suffering and I couldn’t save myself.
He didn’t come home once in the month after that case.
But he was in a place separated from me by a wall, accompanying his first love.
This inhumane murderer!
The two of them took a long time to let each other go, and Henry immediately picked up her wrist and looked at it.

Chapter 6
“Where’s your bracelet?”
But Xena seemed to have known that he would ask.
There was a look of grievance in her eyes, with a faint hint of tears.
“Yvette… she said she liked the bracelet and asked me to give it to her, so I gave it to
her.”
