Then he left the office.

Daniel behind him frowned and thought for a moment, then called a few young cops who had nothing to do to go search in the trash can with him. 

The five of them searched the trash can in the yard for a long time, but they didn’t find the trash that Henry threw away yesterday. 

Daniel wiped the sweat off her face and called Henry. 

An impatient voice sounded in the receiver. 

“There was only a ceramic ornament in the garbage bag. I felt sick just looking at it, so 

I threw it directly into the trash can. I guess it has already sent to the garbage disposal site!” 

It turned out that the things sent to him by my name made him feel disgusted even when they were in his trash can. 

The hope in my heart disappeared little by little. 

Then I started to feel sorry. 

If it weren’t for the deep misunderstanding between Henry and me, perhaps Daniel’s investigation could have been much more easier. 

After hearing what he said, Daniel’s eyes widened, he quickly hung up the phone and. arranged for some people to go over. 

When they arrived, they were just dealing with the police station’s garbage. 

Those cops stopped them and rushed in to search. 

For three hours, they were covered in the stench of garbage. 

Finally, they found the garbage bag that was filled with only the ceramic ornament. 

But as soon as Daniel opened the bag, his pupils dilated and he moved the bag eight inches away. 

He cursed angrily. “Damn it!”

Other cops around him came to take a look, and their faces turned pale instantly. They immediately rushed to the side and vomited continuously. 

The outer ceramic had already shattered when Henry smashed it into the trash can. When the thing inside were revealed, their faces turned pale. 

The young man who had just started working in the bureau pointed at the thing in the bag with trembling hands! 

“Is this…really Mrs. Xander’s? Is there really something wrong with Mrs. Xander’s brain?” 

Daniel slapped him hard on the head. 

Chapter 5 

“Shut up! Don’t listen to Henry’s madness! Something must happened to Yvette!” 

Daniel immediately called Henry. 

But before he could speak, Henry scolded directly. “I said don’t tell me anything about her. I don’t want to hear her name! You can do whatever you want with that thing, just don’t tell me!” 

He hung up immediately after saying that, and Daniel stared at the phone for a 

moment. 

The next second, his brows were furrowed. 

With his chest heaving violently, he called Henry again. 

This time he spoke first, “There was something inside the ceramic ornament from that day! Something happened to Yvette!” 

“What? Something happened to Yvette every day? She never leaves the house, how can she be in danger?” 

Just when Daniel was about to retort, Henry immediately interrupted him impatiently. “Tell me when she dies. I’m still busy with DNA comparisons. The database is too big!” After saying that, he hung up the phone again. 

Daniel was trembling as he looked at the black garbage bag. 

They came back to the bureau directly. 

But Henry wasn’t in the office at all. 

So they went around to the data center to look for him. 

And the garbage bag was in his hand the whole time. 

Those young cops didn’t dare to walk beside the garbage bag. 

Henry was standing behind the staff and observing the comparison results on the 

screen. 

Daniel came in with the bag and rushed over as soon as he saw Henry. 

He gently put the bag down. 

His hands that gripped Henry’s shoulders were so tight that his veins popped out. “Something happened to Yvette, there is a clue in that ceramic!” 

From the moment Henry heard my name, his brows had been furrowed. 

His face was full of impatience at the moment.
