Chapter 14.1
I didn’t have any weapons on me, which forced me to use hand to hand combat while avoiding the sharp blades. No I was not all useless as I could rely on my powers. Though that at the moment was not fear, as my fear was making sure Wolf was doing okay. As I would feel if he died.
I had to plow through as the increase of red immortals became thicker, luckily it did now slow my pack down.
Another sprung at me and I jerked away enough that they missed bt regained their balance. A light of yellow flashed on their blade and now I needed to focus and was thankful for my jacket. As they lunged forward with their blade pointed at me chest. Brought my arms up in a quick motion and beat it away with warped metal noise sounding odd to my ears. But it did not drown out the shouting with clan to metal into the background.
The red immortal sneered at me then I smiled, weirded out till my ears and feeling sensed someone jumping down at me. I feel to my back and booted them with my legs to the other attacker. Thrusting them towards their side partner. Having them piecer them in the chest by accident. I jumped with air back up and the my lungs down in my chest. I did not like using my powers, but they needed to die as I quickly made a sword of fire with water base and hurdled and lunged forward slicing both heads clean.
I whirled around only to have another fight sparing with another enemy. Though their blade began to heat up and bent because of my solid sword was fire. With every beat and me screaming, they began to stumble tripping over their feet, I began to hear their breath become erratic while beating a sword that was beaming useless.
They were scared and I was happy. They fell coughing up dirt and a painful hiss. I thought of a vine wrapping around their neck, but not tight enough to choke but to keep them put. They grasped their neck trying to pry it away. But there was no use, no one cannot defeat my powers.
I moved forward only a few steps but someone grabbed me from behind and threw me down to the ground. Causing me to swallow dirt and air escaping, wheezing for air. The felt like lifetime to flew through my lungs. I heard a spike of the nails a rolled away as the mallet with spiked slammed into the dirt digging in. I gasped silently looked up at my attacker.
Engulf them I command fire.
He screamed and began to yell running through he bodies as he blazes up in red and yellow and went through dead bodies begging them to put him out or cry of pain. I didn’t care to listen. I kept forward and had to be swift and maneuver around as attackers came at me. Grabbing one by the wrist and slamming them down to tying them up with vines. To another battling away a sword and punching square in the face as bones crushed under impact and dark red blood began to pour out. Except was a second as it healed quickly.
Blast them I hold my palm to them and a surge of air swept them up and away. I didn’t have a moment of glory as another attacker came with friends. I sprung in the air twisting feeling like a bullet in slow motion as I was floating ribbon in the air and landed behind them as they missed their chance. I was on my right foot as the impact of the ground only hurt for a second and left knee beside and with a motion of my hands I sprung up more vines capturing them around the ankles, wrists, torso and necks punching my fist down but silenced by the wet dirt and hollered and the vines smacked them down with them. They fell and struggled but I kept forward as fear now came to me. To questions come about.
I kept plowing through almost dancing effortlessly as the red immortals were nothing coming at me. My mind took more precaution as I still had not seen Wolf. I knew he is fine but I cannot see him. All I saw were bodies and blood mingling together like gears in a machine. The Lycan’s were some what getting hurt but not dying like the red immortals and I silently thankful for that.
The familiar blood sound under my shoes gave me a chill up my spine. I forced it down and continued. Everywhere is chaos but on battle field I am used to it, only this time my wariness it to my children as they are nearby. Hopefully, hopefully, I beg in to realize as I flowed with my powers to use vines as a whip to occasionally my sword digging, beating and slicing away some reds. That my children were safe, tucked away in the basement with no one getting in.
A veer of hope though comes to as I see wolf with only a small blood wound on his leg from fighting a red to a second later ripping his head off in his angry snarls. He looks around for a moment and spots me. Seemed odd, time stilled and realizing the sun would rise in a hour.
’Cages Now!’ Wolf ordered to me in thought.
I didn’t need to reply as I set a blazing fire circle around me for protection and kneeled pressing my palms to the ground ignoring the cool dampness seeking into my palms.
Take the reds and cage them, I thought and felt the ground rumble beneath me. I gazed up and saw vines and tree roots with branches shoot out like living tentacles and began to wrap around the red immortals who began to seem frightened but to late for them to escape.
I gazed at the wonders and saw that the branches turned into roots creating wonder and saw that the branches turned into roots created strong dome cages with vines threading through the branches creating sturdiness. I twirled staring at each of them, I was not sure how many there are as seemed to be almost same number of houses.
Where did they all come from? They seemed to be multiplying in numbers.
The night was now quiet as I silence the roaring rage red immortals. The night would turn to dawn as I could feel the cool air begin to fade. I looked down to my feet as I commanded the fire protection to die down and what I saw actually shocked me.
We were strong warriors and fights but only one or two badly injured caught my gasp as they were merged together in the littering of dead red bodies.
Nausea came but I forced it down as Wolf along with others shifted into human form and Wolf was angry.
“Who is the leader!” he roared stomping through the prison domes hastily avoiding the bodies so does not step on one. Our other packs member rushed to the whimpering of our members and began to tend them. Even though they would heal soon they still needed comfort.
“Asema!” Wolf voice snapped me out my daze, I found him staring at me with worry and rage and he came into my view. “Ignite a dome till they answer!” That silenced every red immortal, now they were afraid. As I could sense their dreaded lives began to stutter. But for some reason I was hesitant, was this my vision? A Warning?
“Asema,” Wolf repeated, he was now close to me staring down, I looked up at him, “are you okay?”
I nod as the cool but warm temperature seeps inside my skin, not uncomfortable but oddly something is warning me. He wants to question my health but needs to be alpha.
“I asked who is your leader” he turned to the prison domes as they creaked from the pressure of the reds caged inside.
“I am” a small voice.
Every head turned to the shore where a dome was at the opening of the village that was welcoming the sea. Wolf stalks to the voice and I follow behind. WE have limited time since now the sun will rise in less than a hour. Need answers now.
WE arrived at the Dome and could almost salivate the salty sea breeze as it some what masks over the bloodied ground behind.
I looked at the dome and saw a Medium sized male who was not clutching the dome but stood in the middle hands clenched to his side. Looks as is stewing because they got caught. Normal human brown eyes, dark brown hair, gear on skin rumpled with blots of blood. He was surrounded by two other who were quivering under my power.
Wolf straightened himself radiating his power, “Why did you attack? How did you find us? And” he paused for a moment brough his gaze to mine, “and will your red stop attacking?” he shifted his gaze back to the odd red.
“We had someone follow you” he slithered his words barely hiding his fangs.
I couldn’t stop myself, “you are lying” I replied, that cause everyone to stare. I ignored, “tell the bloody truth!”
Silence.
“Answer my wife!” Wolf barked.
The red sneered, “we were given a tip where you village was, you slaughter so many of our, we thought to return the favour.” He answer in frustration, “ and we will never stop! Justice for our king, Kieran Crimson!’ he shouted, with the other echoing in the chime.
'Burn them’ Wolf thought.
I wanted to protest but no use. I looked upon the other domes, soon a calming forest would come back. I snaped my fingered and like bonfires, they erupted up from the ground with screaming echo through the village. Letting the intense heat blaze around us.
