The Unwanted Luna

Their Mate, My Saviors Chapter 79

-POV Ayame-

Rubbing my eyes, I looked around disoriented but completely sated and warm. I tried to stretch, but I felt two arms tightly wrapped around my body. Vil snuggled into the back of my neck, inhaling my scent, while Conri's chest was my pillow. I wonder if Edon came in later. I was so engrossed in our scene last night I wouldn't have noticed even if he was staring right at me. "Good morning little one." Conri let his fingers slide up and down my arm resting on his chest.

"Hi..." I whispered with a subtle rasp in my voice.

He chuckled a bit and I pulled myself closer to him. "Shy this morning, are we?"

I buried my face and his chest continued to rumble. "Sir and Daddy were really rough last night." I confessed.

"But you loved it?" He asked and I hesitated. Was it really a question? Compared to Edon, these two did satisfy my submissive needs, but no one has ever asked me if I actually like their choices during a scene. Well...I only have Richard to compare them to, but still. "I don't know. I...I don't think I've done most of that since, um...since...."

"You don't have to say his name angel, we just want to make sure you're okay with it. If not, we can pull back, but in our defense, you were being quite naughty lately." I stiffened, feeling Vil's hands wondering north.

"I still stand by what I said to you two though." I huffed as my back voluntarily arched at his touch.

"Don't rile her up yet. Make sure she talks to us first." Conri said, pulling away from me.

I shivered at the loss of contact but he looked down at me sternly and I bit my lip before letting it fall. "Sounds fair." Vil agreed, pulling away from me as well.

I dropped my hands on my face and turned to lay on my back. I was already clean and comfy in one of their shirts and I smiled at the care they took with my body after I fell asleep. "Angel, start talking." Vil ordered. "I...I really liked it, sir." I said, finally caving under their stares.

"Anything you didn't like?" Conri asked.

"No daddy. I mean...um...there were some things that hurt a bit, but nothing that I didn't enjoy." I confirmed.

Conri's hand slipped over my leg and my wolf purred, finally receiving contact from her mates again. "What hurt, little one?"

"The...the clamps, daddy. They aren't my favorite."

Vil smirked and gently pulled my hand away from my face. "But they are my favorite, angel."

I squeaked and he continued to laugh at my expense. "Yes, but if you don't like it, we will respect your decisions." Conri added, and that stopped Vil in his tracks.

"Yeah, I guess we can. I don't want to make you uncomfortable, angel." He groaned, but I knew he wouldn't press the issue.

"Thank you, sir." I whimpered as Conri continued to graze over my core. "Da-Daddy." I moaned at his touch.

He growled lowly and Vil held my hands above my head. "Ready for another round, angel?" Vil whispered in my ear, making my entire lower half melt.

"Please, sir." I begged.

"Not a full round right now, little one. I'll make you feel good for being honest with us, but I want to make sure you are ready for tonight. It is your Luna Ceremony after all. We don't want you too warn out."

My face paled and all my arousal died at the name of tonight's festivities. All of my worries flooded into my mind along with all of my memories of Richard. What if he does find me tonight? What if our plan falls through like last time? What if I can't protect myself even with my wolf? My breathing came out harsh and labored and I shook my head as the tears pricked the corners of my eyes. "Apples! Apples!" I screamed and both of them let go of me immediately. I was snuggled in Conri's arms before I could blink, while he rested on the headboard and Vil rubbed my lower back.

"Shhhh, little one. It's okay. I'm sorry." Conri whispered over and over again until I finally calmed down. I could feel my shirt clinging to my skin at this point and the two of them didn't stop comforting me, even for a second. "Better now, little one? Can you tell us what happened?" Conri asked gently.

I nodded my head while my fingers pressed tighter into my palms. Did...did I have another panic attack? I thought internally. "Words, please angel." Vil added softly.

I cleared my throat. "Yes, I'm fine."

They immediately sighed in relief and Vil hesitantly pulled away before flopping his back on the headboard next to Conri. "We have Edon grabbing some water for you, little one. What happened?" Conri pushed.

"Everything happened. I just...I just froze! I started thinking about Richard and the plan and the...the ceremony and the fairy...and...and...." This book has many missing chapters and scenes if you're not reading it on [J] obnib. c [o] m. My breathing started to hitch again and Conri held me closer, continuing to pet my shoulder.

"It's okay...we understand. Do you want to postpone it? I know we have some guests here already, but I have no problem telling everyone to kick rocks!" Vil said confidently.

There was a knock at the door and Edon came in, handing me a glass. I took it, but my hands were shaking too much, so Conri pulled it away from my fingers and helped me instead. "What happened?" Edon asked and I knew they were telling him through the link, since there was no response and Edon was now growling. "It's okay princess. I'll help Vil kick everyone out."

I tapped Conri's hand and he placed the glass on the nightstand while I felt the color come back to me. "No...it's fine. I can do this. Just...just promise me you three will not leave me. Please." I begged.

Vil kissed my cheek, Conri kissed my forehead and Edon tilted my chin up before pecking my lips. "We promise." The three of them said together and I decided that...at least I have them to comfort me. We...we can do this.

After the guys calmed me down, they helped me shower, pull on a robe and once I was relaxed, the three of them left the room. I waited for Emily to come in and the minute the door closed behind her, she got started on my hair and make-up straight away. The maids came in some time after and cleaned up our mess from last night. It made me uncomfortable initially, but the guys reassured me that we are shifters and, apparently, this kind of stuff is normal.

I felt my hands shake while Emily finished zipping up my dress. It was a simple floor-length lace dress with white fabric underlay. My shoulders were bare and my neck was adorned with a choker neckline. I wasn't one for fancy clothing, especially since I knew it would be torn to shreds by the end of the ceremony when I shifted. There was no reason to loose something so nice. I have a green and silver sundress to put on afterwards.

The guys said it was the colors of our packs and it would show unity with its leaders if we all wore the same colors. I stared at myself in the mirror and I heard a soft chuckle in my head as the nerves started to get to me again. "Don't worry, angel. We know the plan. Just focus. Remember, that girl's life depends on it."

I remember the day Sawyer was dragged out of the office, begging to be spared and, because of the information Malerie's friend provided, she was. However, on one condition. If anything went differently than what she initially told us, they would kill her in the arena. I'm not sure what the arena is, but after I saw the look on her face, I had a feeling that it was not somewhere you wanted to spend your last days. "Okay sir. I'm just...still nervous about everything."

"We know princess, but like Vil said, we aren't going anywhere, and we will be right at the end of the aisle."

"Or, you could think about the fact that Edon almost lost to some guy thirty years his senior." Vil added, laughing in my mind.

I blushed, remembering the fight my father and Edon had a few days ago. Surprisingly, my dad put up a really good fight. It was almost too close to call, but in the end, Edon finally prevailed, but the two neanderthals had to spend the night in the hospital after that. "Edon and Vil are currently chasing each other at the moment, but like they said, we are here. And even Charlie is on his way with a surprise for you apparently." Conri's voice hummed through my mind, and I went back to focusing on the now.

Surprise? Really? I'm actually excited about that now. "Okay, daddy." I called back before focusing on the situation at hand and my triplets...right at the end of the aisle. I was told this would be like a wedding...kind of, but not really. I would be pledging my loyalty to my mates and the pack. I asked them if I would ever have a wedding and they smirked, but I'm not too sure that meant yes or no at this point.

I took a deep breath, lost in thought, and Emily turned me around. "Let's get going." She said, nodding to me, and I checked the moon, peeking out from behind the bathroom window. Its fullness illuminated the backyard, now heavily decorated, seating hundreds of guests and an alter just for the ceremony. I couldn't see the guys yet, but by judging how many people are already seated, they should be filing in soon.

"Just remember your lines and we will be fine." My wolf giggled happily. "I'll take care of the rest."

I rolled my eyes. "You just cannot wait for the run afterwards."

"Of course not! It's my first run with you and our mates! Why wouldn't I be excited?!"

I walked behind Emily quietly while she continued to talk about something I couldn't even pay attention to even if I wanted to. "What if I fall or I can't keep up or -"

"Starlight?" I was startled out of my own thoughts and looked up at my dad looking down at me with concern.

"Y-Yes?" I rushed out in a harsh whisper.

He pursed his lips. "If you aren't ready, we can just tell everyone to go home. I dare them to say otherwise."

I smiled at his encouragement and shook my head. Edon, Conri, and Vil said the same thing earlier and I immediately remembered the care they showed me. I cleared my throat and turned away from my father, hoping my cheeks weren't blushing again while the fabric grazed over my other reddened cheeks. "Where is the fairy?" I asked, slightly breathless.

I chanced a glance his way and he raised a brow before grinning and kissing my forehead. "Waiting at the altar, remember? We will conduct both rituals at once."

I nodded, remembering the practice the triplets and I did last night. I still haven't met this fairy, but dad said he was a close family friend, so I hadn't thought much of him being a threat. I just need to stay focused and only look at one thing at a time.

When we made it out to the backyard, the fountains of water were almost blue in the moonlight as the water softly trickled on either side of the aisle. I looked up at all the people here and there were so many different creatures. I could sense the differences now that my wolf was clawing at the seams to be let out. I guess this Luna Ceremony really was a big deal. Once we got to the front of the aisle, I started to see crowns and that made me even more nervous. Royalty was here. Not like Chaz.... No...like real royalty. Some looked to carry themselves with the air of the ancients I read about a month ago. One of them in particular had long white hair with golden eyes and he smiled at me from ear to ear.

I blushed and hid behind my dad, who is much bigger than me, thankfully. "Welcome to the four hundred and third Luna Ceremony under the full moon of Bodhi Cora!" The Elder called from behind my mates who I so desperately wanted to hug right now. They were my safe space. I glanced over at Vince and Kyle and they smiled at me before nodding back to the Elder. I sucked in a breath and turned back to the Elder. "Before the ceremony can begin, our new Luna must complete a trial of sorts to deem she is worthy of her title. The trial has been chosen by her alphas: Alpha Edon, Alpha Conri, and Alpha Vilkas Oden. Her goal is...to conquer her past." The mumbling began, as I thought it would, and my hand tightened on my father's black suit. "Interesting test. Part one will conclude the start of her ceremony and part two will be completed post ceremony." He called out again. "Now, who will be here to guide her to her rightful appointment?"

"I will." My father called.

"And who may this man be who calls guardian?" The Elder continued.

"Jasper Klaus Radavier of the werebear royal bloodline." The mumbles were now complete shock and the conversations were starting to hurt my ears.

The Elder smiled and nodded for us to take our place in front of a man who had shaggy brown hair with golden undertones and a lean body with deep blue eyes. "Hello, Ayame."

I furrowed my brow and looked up at my dad, who was not looking back. Instead, he kept his glare straight ahead. He was taking this whole guardian thing very seriously. I turned back to the fairy and slipped my arm away from my father. Something told me I needed to curtsey, so I did. When I raised my head, the fairy smiled brightly and bowed back. "Hello." I said.

"I'm sure you don't remember me, but I remember you." I stilled and let my head nod once, however, something in me said I should remember him. Something about him was familiar, just like what I felt when I met my father.

"You are the one who will bring back my memories." I said, forcing my voice to stay calm and thanking the moon goddess that my alphas were close. Their scents continued to calm me.

"I am, it is an honor to serve you. Now, please kneel." He ushered me to a small cushion in front of me and my father held out his hand for assistance, which I gladly took.

Once I was situated, the fairy leaned over me and kissed my forehead. Following that, everything went dark.
