Chapter 130
Nancy always knew Judson was full of himself, but wow, Nancy never realized he was this full of himself! Judson playfully poked Nancy's cheek with his finger. "Nancy, you have no idea how scared I was that day. From now on, you better not leave me, and I promise I won't leave your side!"
Nancy instinctively wanted to push back, but the memory of that day made her stomach churn in a way she couldn't quite describe.
"Fine," she sighed. "Wherever I go, you're coming with me."
Judson beamed, having gotten exactly what he wanted. "Great, I'm holding you to that, Nancy!"
"Now, be a darling and fetch my tablet. I need to take a quick glance at the design sketches. The sooner we wrap up this project with Baldrick, the sooner I can handle the NY situation."
Judson seemed a bit hesitant, but Nancy's firm expression made him comply, and he obediently handed over the tablet.

News from overseas was making waves back home as well.
At the Gordon Corporation.
"Mr. Gordon, lately Mr. Robertson has been aggressively targeting the Allen family, completely disregarding the support they've provided him."
Cyrus paused, the pen in his hand hovering over the paper, but soon he signed his name with a flourish. His face expressionless, Cyrus finally spoke up, "Why is Baldrick going after The Allen Group?"
He knew all about the deals between Baldrick and The Allen Group. Without Albert's backing, Baldrick wouldn't have gained a foothold in Ardenweald so quickly.
Conversely, without Baldrick, Albert wouldn't have extended his reach into Starfield City so swiftly. "Apparently, Mr. Robertson's actions are linked to a designer... someone named Lena."
Cyrus' eyes flickered, and he tightened his grip on his phone. "Lena?"
Before becoming a homemaker, Nancy was a designer too!
Seeing where Cyrus' thoughts were heading, his assistant quickly clarified, "Lena isn't Mrs. Gordon. This Lena's Studio was registered three years ago but has stayed mostly under the radar until recently.
They've just landed a permanent partnership with Evergreen Global."
"And that's why Mr. Robertson teamed up with Lena's Studio for their anniversary showcase, happening in a week.'
Cyrus' heart sank. So this Lena wasn't Nancy...
Where in the world was his Nancy?
A bitter taste filled Cyrus' mouth as he clutched his phone tighter. "Keep an eye on Baldrick. I don't want to miss a single detail!"
"Yes, Mr. Gordon," the assistant replied respectfully.
Cyrus hung up, his gaze falling on a photo of Nancy on his desk.
In the picture, Nancy sat by a café window, sketching intently. Sunlight streamed through the window,
casting a soft glow around her, making the moment seem almost magical.
He had snapped the photo seeing her like that, lost in her element.
Cyrus reached out, gently tracing the photo as though he could caress Nancy's face through it.
"Nancy, you left and even burned all our photos together," he muttered with feigned irritation, "Just wait until I win you back. You'll be the one crying then.
He sighed, a soft, wistful sound filling the office. "You know you're the only one I've ever loved. What am I supposed to do with you, Nancy?"
The room seemed to hold its breath, his words lingering in the air...
Suddenly, urgent knocking shattered the silence. The door burst open, and Caleb rushed in, breathless
and panicked. "Mr. Gordon, we've got a problem. Hayley tried to take her own life!"
