Chapter 95
Chapter 95
Julian stopped and turned around.
Alexandra blinked. “Well, what should I do?”
Julian said, “Have some snacks and fruits.”
Alexandra was speechless.
“Does he mean that there’s nothing I can do to help them?” she wondered.
Marco chuckled and said, “Mrs. Ranford, Mr. Ranford just doesn’t want you to be burdened with it. Listen to him and have a good rest.
Frank, who had just sat down with his laptop, smiled too.
“My boss dotes on Alexandra a lot.
“What a pity that he hasn’t realized it himself, Frank thought.
Julian and Marco went upstairs to the study.
Josephine leaned against the sofa and continued reading the classic in her hand.
Frank sat on the sofa on the other side, his fingers dancing on the keyboard.
Alexandra unwrapped a chocolate bar and stood up. Holding the coffee table, she walked to Frank and sat down beside him.
She saw that the laptop screen was filled with black codes that she could not understand at all.
Alexandra asked, “Frank, what are you doing?”
Frank replied, “Delete the posts. The website administrators of the University of Highclere are all on vacation. By the time they come back to deal with those posts, things will have gone out of control.”
“I see.” Alexandra took a bite of the chocolate and crunched it.
At this moment, the moving codes on the screen slowed down and a few options appeared.
They were respectively represented by capital letters D, F, and A.
Alexandra asked. “What do they mean?”
Frank replied patiently. “They represent three different orders. A means deleting everything, D means attacking the server, and F means crashing the
website.”
Alexandra thought she got it. She stared at the endless codes slowly flowing across the screen and pressed A with her right index finger..
She moved so fast that when Frank realized what she had done, it was too late.
The codes on the screen began flying up and down.
Frank gave a gasp and turned to look at Alexandra. “Mrs. Ranford, what did you do just now?”
Alexandra took a bite of the chocolate and answered blithely, “Delete the posts. Didn’t you say that A means deleting all those posts with fabricated
facts?”
Frank glanced at the rapidly scrolling screen and the corners of his mouth twitched. “Mrs.. Ranford, when did I say that A means deleting all the posts?”
Alexandra tilted her head. “Huh?”
Frank wanted to die. He said patiently, “A means deleting everything, all the content on the website. All the content!”
Alexandra realized the gravity of the matter and subconsciously hunched her shoulders.
Frank continued to explain to her what she had just done. “The University of Highclere’s website collapsed. All the information since the website was established has been deleted.”
“Really?”
Alexandra chuckled and noticed Frank’s face darkening.
She propped her hands on the edge of the sofa and got up. In a cute voice, she asked, “Frank, you’re an expert on computers. You can restore the lost information, can’t you?”
Frank tried not to lose his temper. If the one who had caused the trouble was Marco, lie would have dashed forward and beat him black and blue.
But Alexandra was his boss’s wife!
She had even saved his life back in Sheffield, although she could not remember it.
Frank took a deep breath, then another. At last, he forced a plastic smile and said, “Mrs… Ranford, could you please go back to eat snacks and fruits

over there?”
“Okay. I’m really sorry, Frank.” Alexandra quickly hopped back to Josephine’s side.
She needed Josephine to protect her if Frank failed to suppress his anger and decided to beat her up.
Josephine looked up from her book and asked, “What’s going on?”
Alexandra said in a contrite voice, “Grams, I hit the wrong button and deleted all the content on the school’s website.”
Josephine glanced at Frank whose lips were pursed into a tight line and said, “It’s no big deal. The University of Highclere can use this chance to reorganize the content on its website.”
Frank’s lips twitched.
“Well, well, well,
“The whole family dote on Alexandra!” he thought.
When dinner arrived, Julian and Marco had come downstairs.
Frank was still sitting on the sofa repairing the data on the school’s website with a straight face.
Marco asked him to eat, but Frank said that he had no appetite.
Alexandra shuffled to Julian and said, “Sorry. I caused trouble for Frank. I deleted everything on the school’s website. Frank is busy fixing it now.”
Marco looked at Frank sympathetically.
Julian nodded and patted her shoulder. “It’s okay. He’ll take care of it. It’s a good opportunity for him to horn his computer skills. Let’s go eat.”
Marco thought to himself, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. He’ll spoil her!”
He’d known that they would be a loving couple at the very beginning and he was right.
Despite what Frank said, Marco put some food on a plate and sent it to him.
Feeling guilty, Alexandra put a big drumstick on Frank’s plate.
Marco sat down on the sofa with the plate. “Look, Mrs… Ranford rewarded you with a big drumstick,”
Frank glanced at the mouth–watering drumstick but didn’t feel like eating it. He moved his eyes back to the screen where black and blue Entealish codes kept flashing
Marco didn’t want to gloat, but he couldn’t help but pat Frank’s shoulder and say, “Frank, don’t be angry. Mrs… Ranford didn’t do it on purpose. Mr. Ranford said that you can use this opportunity to improve your hacking skills.”
Frank shook off his hand and snorted. “I’m not angry with Mrs.. Ranford.”
“Liar”
‘Really not. I’ll never be angry with her.
“Why?”
“I won’t tell you. Frank felt smug at the thought that he knew about Alexandra’s secret and Marco didn’t.
Alexandra could shoot with amazing accuracy at a time of crisis, but she would completely forget about it afterward. It was a secret that he and Julian
shared.
Marco scoffed and left him, returning to the dining table to eat.
By the time they finished çating, Frank was still working on restoring the content of the website.
He stood up with his laptop and left Tropical Lagoon Residences with Marco.
After sending them off, Alexandra went upstairs to give Josephine a massage.
She dawdled in Josephine’s room and repeated what she had said last night. “Grams, can I sleep with you tonight? I’ll be on my best behavior and won’t disturb you!”
As she spoke, she blinked her big doe eyes.
She looked so endearing
Josephine put down the book in her hand, picked up her phone from the nightstand, and sent Julian a voice message. “Julian, come and take your wile away.
Two minutes later, Julian came up.
Once again, he carried the reluctant Alexandra downstairs.
The next morning, when Alexandra woke up, Julian was already gone.
Chapter 95
The first thing Alexandra did when she opened her eyes was to grope for her phone.
“Thank god!” she muttered.
The University of Highclere’s website had returned to normal. She didn’t know that Frank had stayed up all night to fix it.
The posts about Yvonne, the girl from the dance department, had all been deleted.
Alexandra heaved a sigh of relief and hoped that this matter would be over as soon as possible.
“Let this be the end of it!” She prayed in her heart.
She put down her phone and stretched. Then, she suddenly realized that something was off.
“Why am I on Julian’s side of the bed?” she wondered.
She remembered sleeping on the right side of the bed last night but now both she and her quilt was on the left side.
