Chapter 94
Chapter 94
The second picture was a clear version of the first one.
The patient’s name, age, date of birth, and time of the test were all legible.
Below the second photo was a photo of a female student. It was not pixelated and her face was clearly shown.
There was a line of words for clarification. [Yvonne Droston, a sophomore from the dance department of the University of Highclere.]
Soon, this post became the top trending topic.
Some students started speaking for Alexandra.
[It wasn’t Alexandra who took an abortion!]
[Tsk, tsk! This girl got knocked up and used her pregnancy to sling mud at Alexandra who is both talented and pretty. How shameless she is!]
[Alexandra is innocent! As expected, such a beautiful angel would not screw around!]
At the same time, Yvonne became the new target of blame and more photos of her were posted anonymously.
Posters all claimed to be Yvonne’s roommates or friends.
Those posts used mean words and pictured Yvonne as a despicable slut.
They said that her private life was a total mess and she dated five boyfriends at the same time. They also said that this was her third abortion this year.
However, after a while, a different kind of voice emerged.
Below that post, someone left a comment.
[Wait a minute. Isn’t this matter already over? Why did Alexandra release the ultrasound report after she already proved herself innocent?]
[Someone has used Yvonne’s ultrasound report to frame Alexandra. But I don’t understand why Alexandra revealed Yvonne’s personal information. Did she mean to make Yvonne socially dead?]
[Yvonne and Alexandra don’t have any grudges against each other. Alexandra and the person behind her nailed it. Not only have they proved Alexandra innocent, but they also told everyone the truth. Impressive! Alexandra is still the talented angel, but everyone despises Yvonne now!]
[Who cares? She’s just a scapegoat. Alexandra is ruthless.]
II mean no offense, but Carson must have played a part in it, or Alexandra wouldn’t have gotten that picture of the ultrasound report.]
The situation took a dark turn. Before long, many people switched sides and began to criticize Alexandra who had just gotten off the hook.
This time, their words were even more spiteful. They called her a viper who victimized others for her own benefit.
Alexandra stared at the hateful comments coming out of nowhere and was dumbfounded.
At this moment, Julian came back from work.
That post came out on his way home from work, so he didn’t know about it yet.
As soon as he entered the house, he saw Alexandra sitting on the sofa in a daze, seeming to have a lot on her mind.
“The matter has been resolved.” Julian loosened his tie and walked over.
Alexandra turned her head around and asked him in a somewhat disbelieving tone, “Mr. Ranford, did you do this too?”
She handed her phone to him. Julian took it over in confusion. It didn’t take him long to understand what was going on..
Martha should have stopped when he was easy on her.
Julian returned the phone to Alexandra. “It wasn’t me. I didn’t ask anyone to release Yvonne’s information. Martha did it.”
Julian could see how desperate Martha was. Her last post failed to do the trick so she released someone else’s privacy on the internet to discredit
Alexandra.
“Okay” Alexandra was in a bad mood when she thought that everyone thought she was a selfish bitch now and that Yvonne, the other victim in this matter, must be having a tough time too.
Julian walked to her and sat on the sofa beside her. “You don’t believe me? You think I did it?”
“No!” Alexandra quickly explained, “I believe you. You said you didn’t do it and that’s it.”
Hearing her say this, Julian was quite pleased and a smile stretched across his mouth. He couldn’t help but raise his head and stroke Alexandra’s
head.
Alexandra pursed her lips and said, “I didn’t expect Martha to have such a trick up her sleeve. She’s so bad: How could she be so evil? Everyone thinks that it’s me and Carson who posted those pictures. Everyone is condemning us online!”
Alexandra frowned, looking anxious and guilty.
Chapter 94
Julian hadn’t expected Martha to be so cold–hearted either.
He looked at his little girl and thought, “Martha and Alexandra are of the same age, but one is a devil while the other is an angel.“
At this moment, Josephine came downstairs. She was wearing her reading glasses and holding a book. When she saw the couple in the living room, al smile appeared on her wrinkled face.
However, when she got closer, she noticed their bad mood and thought they had had a fight.
Alexandra told Josephine about the current situation.
After hearing her out, Josephine was furious. “How did the Connolly family raise their daughter? How could she sully other people’s reputations because of personal reasons?”
“Grams, sorry for making you worry. Don’t be angry. Julian and I will take care of it.” Alexandra patted Josephine’s back, afraid that she would faint because of anger.
The doorbell rang. Marco and Frank came.
The two of them had originally planned to go out for supper tonight and discussed how to make their boss come to the realization that he had fallen in love with Alexandra over the meal.
However, before they got to the restaurant, they were called over by Julian.
The two of them walked in and saw Mistress Josephine whom they had not seen for a long time.
Frank was very glad because he hadn’t been able to take time off to visit Josephine at the Ranford Mansion since he returned to Highclere City. He had never thought that he would meet her at Tropical Lagoon Residences.
“Mistress Josephine, good evening!” Marco cracked a big, warm smile and hurried forward.
Frank followed behind him and nodded with a smile. “Mistress Josephine, long time no see.”
Josephine looked up at Frank whom she hadn’t met in a few months and was very happy too.
The two of them had spent lots of time with Josephine when they were young. At that time, Josephine’s health wasn’t that bad and she often went to the orphanage in the suburbs to play with the children.
“Frank, your skin has become darker!” This was the first thing Josephine said.
Frank smiled helplessly. “Here you go again, Mistress Josephine. Every time I see you, you say that.”
Josephine laughed. “You keep traveling all over the world. Look at Marco. He works in the company and his skin is as fair as a little girl’s!”
Marco winced, not sure if that was a compliment.
Frank said, “I prefer to run around. If I stay in the office with walls around me every day, I’ll go crazy!”
Seeing Frank and Marco so close to Josephine, Alexandra felt envious and admired Josephine even more.
Julian walked over and stopped them from catching up. “Frank, hack into the school’s website and delete all those posts.”
“Yes, Boss.” Frank opened his laptop and sat on the sofa.

While he was working on the laptop, Julian said to Marco, “Come with me to the study. The stock market will open the day after tomorrow. There’s something I need you to do with the help of Carson.”
Marco stood up. “Okay, Mr. Ranford.”
Julian then said to Josephine, “Grams, I’ve ordered dinner from a popular restaurant. It’ll be delivered soon. You can read your book while waiting.”
Josephine nodded and said to him, “Go do what you need to do.”
Julian was about jo leave with Marco when Alexandra stopped him. “Wait!”
