Peter smiled as he served Julian a cup of tea. He could not help but said in a flattering manner, “Julian, you come to visit me despite your busy schedule. I feel so honored!”

Upon hearing what Julian said, Peter’s mind flashed with a hint of hope. Since Julian cared about Alexandra so much, there would be a chance for him. to borrow the money from Julian.
Peter leaned forward and asked tentatively, “Julian, did Alexandra tell you anything after she went home yesterday?”
Julian replied with a hum. Then, he said, “Alexandra was in a bad mood after she returned home. That’s why I come over to have a chat with you, Mr. Doherty.”
Mr. Doherty? Suddenly, the conversation became so tense after Julian said the word.
By right, Julian should address Peter as “father” or “dad“.
Peter paused for a moment. He then saw Julian putting on a fake smile.

Yesterday night, we asked Alexandra to come home so that she could discuss this matter with you and seek your help, of course. However, Alexandra insisted that you will never lend the money to us. Hence, Pete and I questioned her if she had done. something wrong in the Ranford family. That was why she had no right to voice out anything.”
