A WEEK LATER.

I had completely healed and finally accepted that I was carrying a child inside of me. As for Clara’s good news, she and Tyson were officially dating,

It was still so shocking to believe, but Dexter had completely changed into a completely different person than I had ever imagined he would be,

And most importantly, he was able to put Scarlett in her place. I still had a lot to thank the Moon goddess for because I hadn’t lost my baby after being attacked by Scarlett.

She had been in her room for one week crying her eyes out, but I didn’t care. She certainly deserved it for all I care.

Since Dexter and I had a long night in each other’s arms yesterday, I watched him sleep peacefully and a smile appeared on my face,

This was what I had always dreamt of. A complete family and a man who loves me. Even though I didn’t expect it and I had given up in the past, I was finally living the life that I desperately wanted. That kind of love you only see in the movies, or you read in long novels.

"If you keep staring at me, I’ll be forced to have you again Amelia." He murmured with his eyes still shut and I chuckled at his words,

He wasn’t asleep the entire time I was admiring how handsome he was.

I tried to move away from him, but he grabbed me, keeping my face on his chest,

"Not yet. Let’s stay like this for a few more minutes." He murmured and I chuckled. "You’ve spent an entire week by my side, Dexter; I think it’s high time you focus on your Alpha duties. I’m okay."

"Damn the Alpha duties, Amelia. They aren’t as important as you are. What about the baby?" It was even more funny that he was always asking about the baby and how it was doing.

"I can’t feel the baby yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s fine Dexter," I responded, and once he opened his eyes, he began to rub my hair gently, and he planted a kiss on my forehead. I wouldn’t lie, time with Dexter was heaven and I didn’t want it to end, but I also wanted to have time for Clara and Luna Aurora.

I had gotten Information that she and the Alpha king were returning soon and I was very certain that Luna Aurora would be so glad about the news when she returned,

"Clara made plans today and she..."

"She’s going to ditch you again for Tyson, trust me, Amelia. She’s just a crazy ass when she’s in love." Dexter uttered and out of annoyance, I hit him on his chest making him wince in pain,

"Don’t say that about your sister, Dexter. Everyone does crazy things when they are in love. I certainly don’t mind if she ditches me again because I want her to always have a good time with Tyson.
