"You will be the one to help us pass that gate" I said, she creased her brows and clutched her tummy, when I noticed her gestures, I held her firmly. "What's wrong Kylie, it's anything the matter" I asked clearly worried.

"Yes I'm hungry " she replied. I was really angry at myself, because I just wanted to save my mate without bothering about the person who was beside me and that was not right, i took a deep breath, before I wondered where to get food at this moment.

"Stay put, while I go look for food for you " I said to her before I gently laid her on the fresh wild plants.

"I'm not hungry for food, but for blood" she said, which made me extremely shocked. I stop moving only to look at her, with an evident shock expression.

I decided to went closer to her before I perceived her scent, that's when I was able to perceive the vampire scent, but it was very faint.

"You are a vampire?" I asked evidently shocked, she nodded her head.

"I'm a hybrid, my father raped my mum before he turned her and brutally beat her up, while ended being pregnant".

"But what you told me earlier was a different story?" I asked.

"Because I don't fully trust you yet and I don't want you to be scared of me" she said while pouting her lips, I found her gestures really adorable.

I managed to take a deep breath, before I asked " so now what would be the cure to your hunger?".

"Blood" she replied immediately, I was confused because I don't know where to find blood, I then managed to bring out my wrist, before I gestured it towards her mouth, she shook her head abruptly.

"No I can't do that, because I'll only make you weaker " she said which made me took a deep breath, there was that smile that was etched my face, while trying to assure her that everything would be alright.

She hesitated, before she managed to bring my wrist closer to her mouth, her adorable green eyes sparkled when she perceived the strong scent of my blood and then she sank her fangs into my needy flesh, I can't help feel so much pity for the little one.

Her deep green eyes turned to a more darker shade, making it look more beautiful and surreal.

She had a smile etched on her face, before she immediately stop taking from me.

Her pale skin glowed, I can't help but admire her courage.

She abruptly stood up before she said the least expected.

"Thank you for helping me for that reason I'm ready to help you, I'll be going Inside, and they would detect the scent of a vampire on me so therefore they would allow me to go in, when I'm in, I'll wait till when everyone is asleep before I'll execute my plan, which is to open the gate for you" she said hastily.

I thought about it for a while, but she's still so young and I can't risk her life.

"No I can't risk your life, you are still so young and you need to be guided" I replied back.

"I know, but that's the only option we got". I Drew In a deep breath, evidently showing I'm about to succumb.

"Okay... Okey, you need to hurry" I urged her, which made her start running towards the gate, I was impressed when I noticed her calm demeanor before she knocked on the gate.

I noticed two bulky set of people came out to see the one who was knocking at the door,they chatted for a while before they let her in, I was surprised with this little girls boldness.

I sat beside the tree, feeling so lonely and while trying to calm myself down, because I was already missing her presence, I prayed to the goddess of the moon to protect her because I don't want anything bad to happen to her.

I drew in a deep breath, while waiting patiently for the best because I noticed that it was already dark and that's when I heard her lingering voice through the air.

"You can come now" she whispered. That's when I immediately rushed towards her direction and I followed her, before I used the map to direct us around the kingdom, so we won't get Lost, only to hear a very domineering voice from an unknown poeple.

"When I saw you little one, I saw a threat and I know you were hiding something, now I'm certain about my speculations" one of the guards said, before he let out a husky laughter.

"Leave her alone, she's still so innocent, she doesn't deserve all these that you are doing to her" I reprimand them, making them let out a husky laughter.

"We are taking you as our captives" he said before we were hands cuffed with a silver chain, I let out a husky groan of pain, I noticed Hot tears was already evident in her eyes. "Please remove those chains, can't you see the little girl she's in pains" I said to them, but rather they ignored me, which managed to make him plaster a smirk in his face.

"I'm actually planning to even add garlic, to make the situation even more fun" he laughed, he knew garlic would add more pain to the little one, that's why he chose that, I immediately hate him for his actions, he was so unsympathetic for the little one, they continued laughing before they left, leaving us caved in the metallic cell.

"Is this how things going to be between us, is this how are lives are going to end?" The girl asked in pain, her eyes blurred with unshed tears, I felt so much pain for her,I wish I can hold her and comfort her and tell her everything is going to be alright, but I can't do that because my hands are chained.

"But I warned you not to go with me" I said to her.

"But it was an adventure, to get the opportunity to go with such a warrior like you "she said while beaming with smiles.

We then eventually doze off despite the fact we were in pains
