"the beast of the forest is now a captive to the King, and he would be killed in two days, I really want to see him dead" one of the men screamed in Joy, I was really shocked when I heard this, I took a deep breath, while trying to compose myself.

We waited patiently for them to leave, my heart started beating so fast, just from the thought what one of them had said.

"We need to run, we don't have much time" I encouraged Kylie, which made her plaster a sad expression, while she followed me obediently.

We started running, only to noticed like we were being chased by a group of people.

I turned to see who it was, I was shocked to see that it was those two men who were talking Earlier on.

"It's a wolf and a witch, we need to catch them before anything happens" one of them said, while trying to get a grip on myself, the thought it all was very discouraging, I tried as much as possible while trying to get a grip on myself, the moment I noticed that, Kylie can't run any faster, than the way her little tiny legs can carry her.

I took a deep breath, before I found myself in a place that made me so confused, especially when I noticed a man in front of us, I was really scared.

I tried to inhale his scents, that's when I managed to perceive an unknown scent, the scent was unfamiliar, yet similar at the same time.

"Who are you?" I managed to ask, despite my panic state, he plastered a smirk on his face, while looking at me, I can't help it, by admiring his wild and vicious demeanor.

"Come here, we have to hide from the those guards, because the brutal punishment given to trespassing wolves it's unthinkable".

I didn't think twice before I followed him, I just wanted to be out of here, I took a deep breath, before I found myself in a small cottage with some small wooden furnitures.

He sprayed some liquid around the room, while trying to catch my breathe, I was wondering why he was doing that.

"Why are you spraying those incense around the room".

"So they can't detect our scents no matter how they tried "he replied immediately.

"I perceived your scent it's quite an unfamiliar scent, I'll like to know which type of shifter are you?".

"I'm the only type of shifter, that it's still in existence, I'm a hybrid, a combination of a vampire and a witch " he said, that's when I was able to perceive the scent of a vampire, but the scent of a witch is more dominant.. "Why did you help me?" I eventually asked.

"Because I owed alot to your mate alot, he has also helped me alot in this life " he said, I drew in a deep breath, while trying to understand what he just said, because the thought of him being dead in two days was really heartbreaking. "But how did you know that he's my mate ?" I asked.

"Because his wild scent it's all over you, despite the fact he has not fully made his claims over you " he replied.

"So can you please help me to save my mate, I don't want anything bad to happen to him" I pleaded, he drew in a deep breath, before he let out a sigh and he sat down.

"I heard what the King had said, that he wanted to kill your mate in two days, for the him to survive, which is something I'll not like to see anyone experience" he said to me with a sad expression.

"And that's the more reason you need to help me, please don't let anything happen to him, Because I won't be able to bare it" I begged with so much pain etched in my voice.

"I know how you feel right now, but the security it's tight and invading in such a big kingdom would be a big problem ".

"I don't care, I want to help him, I don't want anything to happen to him..." I tailed, my voice was already trembling and my eyes already blurry with tears.

"Please I beg of you, please help me, please" I pleaded. He stared at me before he cupped my cheeks, then his eyes darts to Kylie who was silent all this while.

"Okey I'll help you, but before that, I'll like to do something "

"And what's that?".

"I'll make love to you, and put my seed in you, in case it anything happens to me, then I'll be rest assured that my linage would not die " he said gently. When I heard his words I abruptly stood up, while horrified by his choice of words. He took a deep breath, before he came close to me.

"I know how you feels right now, but I want you to be rest assured that everything would be alright, I just don't want my linage to die".

"I have a mate that can fill my womb with his seed, since you can't be of any help to us, then I'm sorry to say that I'll be going " I said, before I firmly held the hand of Kylie and I started moving, but I was shocked to see that he was unperturbed about the whole situation.

I regretted ever pleading him for help, before I started walking towards the door and left, but before I continued moving and turn back to him before I said.

"Thank you for help, but I'll be leaving " I said, which made him had a very sad smile on his face.

We then left with Kylie, I was cautious of my environment and I tried to monitor any move that comes by, i observed the map so Intently.

After a whole day of walking through the thick forest, we were finally there, I came to realize that we still have a day left for us to achieve our aims.

I stared at the tall and well built fence, I started thinking of an Idea of how to passed through the gate, that's when an Idea popped up before I turned to Kylie.
