The next morning, Julia went to the airport. It was her last flight with Shaw and Sierra's firm's an attendant of Flight C919. She couldn't afford a mistake,

In the crew room, Julia was adjusting her three-stripe epaulets when Sierra walked in. She studied Julia with a meaningful smile. "Captain Kang, aren't you pathetic? Five years with Shaw, and he wouldn't even acknowledge you're his girlfriend. You're a secret."

Alia paused. Sierra already knew about her relationship with Shaw,

Sierra smirked. "Thank you for helping me take care of him. I know you were with him at work and in bed. But I'm the one who taught him everything. We spent three nights trying eighty-one positions. Men remember their first sex, so Shaw will never forget me. Now that I'm back, your best option is to quit and wish us happiness."

Julia felt so humiliated. She bit her lip, tasting blood,

"Talk to Shaw about this," Julia replied.

Sierra was shocked."Julia, clinging to a man who doesn't love you is pointless. You know he only loves me. You're just a booty call to him. All his gifts to you are second-hand. Even he himself is second-hand. Only I know what he wants."

Sierra wanted Julia to break down but she wouldn't succeed. Julia had stopped loving Shaw when she knew he was cheating.

"Congratulations. I wish you guys to get back together," Julia said, leaving the room. The sun shone brightly. It was perfect flying weather. Her future would be brighter. After the pre-flight briefing, Julia inspected the plane. In the cockpit, she and Shaw contacted the tower.

"Skyways Flight C919 calling Tower."

"Tower, go

ahead."

Shaw's voice was crisp. "Skyways Flight C919 ready for takeoff."

A green light flashed.

"Skyways Tower wishes Flight C919 a safe flight and landing. See you back home. Goodbye." Shaw gripped the throttle and gently pushed the yoke. Julia glanced at him. This was her last flight as his co-pilot.

At 30,000 feet, Shaw engaged autopilot. They went to the galley and ran into Sierra. "Captain Mond," Sierra said sweetly.

Suddenly there was a jolt of turbulence! A suitcase fell from the compartment!

""Watch out!"

Shaw instinctively pulled Sierra aside, shielding her. Julia failed to dodge and was hit by the

suitcase.

A flight attendant rushed over."Captain Kang, are you alright?"

Julia

looked at Shaw and calmly said, "I'm fine. Reassure the

passengers.

It's normal turbulence."

Pack in the cockpit, Shaw felt a bit upset.

He whispered, "Sierra was closer

so I pulled her first. Don't overthink it."

Julia looked at him."It's okay. It's my last flight with you."
