Chapter 333: The First Upload (IV): Freedom
He should probably not be here, if he was smarty he would turn around right now and leave this place without even looking back and worrying about what he had just found. It was a werewolf trapped in amber or rather it would be better to say that it was entombed in it. He shouldn't care, werewolves were dangerous and this one was downright scary, but then again he wasn't exactly sure how werewolves were dangerous seeing as he has never met one before today, but that was not up for debate as the intense feeling of fear he was getting was coming from no other place but this bloody werewolf stuck in amber.
It was crazy, and if it was just some dead supernatural creature he would have happily just walked away and never looked behind himself. but this bloody guy was alive, and while his yellow eyes were downright scary, it was impossible to tell from his eyes if he was evil or something of the sort. But the humanoid wolf he was looking at was alive and trapped, and Rezar was having a war within himself from leaving the werewolf trapped. And this was mainly because he knew it was a decision that was being brought about by the fear he was feeling. Above all else he didn't want it to seem as if his fear had won over him, never!
"We should just leave it as it is master. The people who trapped it here knew what they were doing, you and I can feel that its incredible dangerous." Screet warned as he tried to convince Rezar to make a different decision and take a different route.
"They knew what they were doing? Did they? Take a look around you Screet, whatever it is they thought that they knew they were doing, it didn't work and it probably led to their destruction and you expect me to blindly follow them and their decisions because of something as mundane as fear. If there is something I would never do again, it's to blindly put my trust in someone that probably doesn't deserve it. So no Screet, they don't know what they were doing and neither do I! but that's just the beauty of life isn't it. You can never really move forwards until you're ready to take the big risks and make a shit ton of mistakes. Sure some people are lucky and get all they want without struggle or sacrifice and their mistakes are covered up for them.
But that has never been our way, we live, we grow, we fall and we make our mistakes. And above all we deal with the consequences of actions and make up for our mistakes. But that being said Screet, do prepare a barrier and get ready to run for your fucking life. I believe we're both in agreement about that right?"
"Unequivocally and 100% master. Should I perhaps stay a little bit closer to the entrance." Rezar's reply to that was an evil glare so deep it completely over shadowed whatever horror Screet was feeling from the werewolf.
It was at this point it hit Screet like a ton of bricks as his eyes opened wide with realization. The feeling this werewolf was giving out was extremely oppressive, it was like feeling the cold hand of death creeping close to you. However, the feeling Rezar gave off, which on more than one occasion Screet who would be just a bystander had felt, was one that did not give you the feeling of death approaching, it was like you were staring at death in the face. They had both forgotten that Rezar was just as dangerous if not more so than the werewolf, they were just caught off guard by an aura of power that was equal or maybe a bit stronger or weaker than Rezar.
Screet watched as Rezar took slow steady steps till he was standing right in front of the amber that was encasing the werewolf. There were no seams to it, it was as the werewolf had grown with the crystal. He could smash his hands against it to see if it would break, but considering g it has held a werewolf captive for thousands of years Rezar did not think that even with his strength he would be able to even leave a scratch or a dent on it. He let his worry roll off his shoulder as he placed a hand on the amber. The dull yellowish brown almost golden color of the transparent amber turned red immediately.
Rezar took ten steps back, a little more than was necessary but a distance that was covered in a flash leaving Screet wondering where his master had gone. The amber began to develop cracks and the oppressive energy became even stronger and was moving out in sonar like waves. It was displacing wind and leaving the air thick with energy and bloodlust, it was something to be worried about but Rezar had all of his attention placed on the amber that was slowly developing more and more cracks as the seconds went by.
"Master do you think this was a good idea? Doesn't it seem like a trap seeing as it was so easy for you to open the doors and break the rock trapping this werewolf…. it's incredibly fishy." Screet said as he looked up at Rezar.
"Yeah I get what You're saying Screet, things with this black building has been really weird. But be that as it may we have to deal with what's right in front of us." Rezar said as he turned his gaze back to the amber. The cracks had grown so considerably to the point there wasn't a single unblemished spot on it. He kept his gaze tightly on the amber and then when it all seemed to build up into a crescendo the amber exploded and what came out of it was a wail so jarring that he felt his bones rattle.

At first there was all darkness, and even if he knew there was someone close; a vampire for that matter he didn't exactly think that there would be a chance to once again see the light. And then there was light, the vampire and what looked like a rat-man, though judging from his eerie green eyes it was a highly evolved undead. They both came and for the first time in n god knows how long he was able to see, and it was such a blessing that he could read their lips. Because being encased in this Amber as they called it. His rage seemed all too palpable, those bloody vampires had left him stuck in amber for thousands of years!
They had left him fossilized like! Like! Some sort of dinosaur! To say he was incensed would be an understatement to the primal rage he was currently feeling. He wanted blood and it didn't matter if the vampire and the undead rat-man in front of him were here to bring him salvation, he would bathe in the essence of their blood. And the fact that they were scared of him seemed to incite his hunger even more, there was a low rumble in his chest as his madness seemed to peak from behind the curtain he had kept it hidden.
The only good vampire is a dead vampire, but this vampire seemed different. No sane vampire would ever release him; he was not just a werewolf; he was the bloody first of his kind. He was way beyond the scope and understanding of any mere mortal being. B but it was incredibly crazy because before all this he used to be an incredibly normal person, his mind has had enough time to break down and restructure itself a million times over in the thousands of years of solitude. He has remembered more things than he would have liked and forgotten even more.
He used to be a gamer, a young man that was given a chance to try and test what was probably humanity's greatest achievement of all time. But something happened and now he was invariably stuck in this world and in this life for all eternity. And then the vampires came and made his already miserable life even more broken and scarred. But even under the woes of his missing memories and broken mind, he never stopped fighting and he never gave up, and that's how and why he has been able to survive this long.contemporary romance
*Doooom! *
That was the sound he felt the very moment the Vampire placed his palm on his prison. The walls shook and his heart beat sped up as or the first time in a thousand years he felt air. The breeze was humid, stale and dry. But it was air, real air. He strained his body and felt movement; his struggle was renewed as his movement became more and more frantic as the seconds passed. He was going to be free soon, and he could practically smell it. And he would thank this young naïve vampire by ripping his immortal body into a million pieces. Yes! Here it is! Freedom!
