Chapter Mute 21
Chapter 21
Caspian’s POV
As I led Aria towards the small house by the lake, memories of the past flooded my mind like a relentless tide. This place, once a sanctuary for my desires, now stood as a haunting reminder of my past indiscretions. With each step, I couldn’t help but dwell on the women who had crossed this threshold before Aria entered my
life.
As we entered the house, the air seemed to thicken with the weight of my regrets. Aria followed behind me, her presence an opposite to the fleeting encounters I had once sought in this place.
I watched her reluctantly place one foot in front of the other, her hesitation a painful echo of my own inner turmoil.
Memories flashed before my eyes as I recalled the times I had brought women here, seeking temporary solace from the burdens of leadership.
Yet, everything changed when I discovered Aria was my mate. I had brought her to this very spot on two occasions, indulging in passion without thought for the consequences, And then, like a coward, I had abandoned her here, leaving her to find her own way back to the castle, alone and forsaken.
Now, as I watched her walk into the familiar space with a sense of unease, I cursed myself under my breath. Regret gnawed at my conscience, each memory a painful reminder of the harm I had inflicted upon her.
I had used her for my own pleasure, ignoring the bond that tied us together as mates.
With a heavy heart, I realized that I could never undo the pain I had caused her. All I could do was carry the burden of my actions and strive to make amends.
As Aria stood before me, an embodiment of my past mistakes, I vowed to do better, to be worthy of her love and forgiveness. But for now, all I could do was curse my own foolishness and pray for redemption.
I cleared my throat, watching Aria with a mix of frustration and concern. “Have you lost your mind, fighting a man? For f***k’s sake, I blurted out, unable to contain my exasperation.
Aria’s glare pierced through me, her eyes flashing with defiance as she signed her response. ‘It’s none of your business. Now tell me why you brought me here?’
I sighed, running a hand through my hair in frustration You

the chans, to protect your m**l health, I explained, hoping she would understand my intentions.
But Aria’s response was sharp and cutting. Hah! As if you care. Being in this pack alone is detrimental to my m**al health… I would father live in the bushes like a rogue than stay here.
Her words stung, a harsh reminder of the pain I had caused her. I could only sigh, feeling a pang of guilt wash over me.
But *k it, I couldn’t help but admire her beauty.
Even in her maid uniform, she was breathtaking, her lips plump and inviting, her nose button-like, and her hazel eyes cat-like, revealing her half-Asian heritage.
It was as if I was seeing her for the first time, truly appreciating her allure.
I swallowed hard, feeling a lump form in my throat as I realized how blind I had been to her charms.
This was the woman I had thought I could hurt and get away with it. But now, standing before her, I couldn’t deny the depth of my feelings for her, nor the regret that gnawed at my conscience.
Aria’s sudden signing hit me like a ton of bricks, her words cutting through me like a knife. “Did you bring me here to f**k my brains out like you normally used to, Alpha Caspian?” she signed, her expression unreadable yet filled with bitterness. “Did you bring me here to use me to your satisfaction, not minding that I was in pain?”
The accusation was like a punch to the gut, leaving me reeling with disbelief. “What, no! How can you even say that?” I blurted out, my voice strained with shock and denial.
But Aria’s response was unwavering, her signs dripping with resentment. “Because that’s what you always bring me here for. To use the pathetic weak omega, a mute who feeds from the crumbs of your men, a young woman with a weak wolf.”
Her words cut deep, a painful reminder of the callous way I had treated her in the past. I felt a surge of shame wash over me, unable to meet her gaze as she echoed the words I had used to belittle her.

I wanted to disappear, to escape the weight of my own guilt and remorse. Aria’s expression remained impassive, yet I could sense the bitterness seething beneath the surface, a reflection of the pain I had caused her.
Still, my chest tightened because Aria’s words pierced through me like daggers. I knew I

deserved every ounce of her hate, and more. No one had dared to speak to me with such contempt before, but with Aria, I would allow it. She had every right to despise me for the pain I had caused her.
When I finally found my voice, it was laced with remorse. “I brought you here to help you cool off. To blow off some steam, and then help you heal, because you’re bleeding. You sustained a few scratches from the man whom you fought.”
Aria’s lips tightened with disdain at my attempt to offer help, her eyes flashing with resentment as she signed her response. ‘I don’t need your pity or your care, she spat, her words dripping with bitterness and anger.
As she turned to leave, determination written all over her, my desperation surged.
I couldn’t bear to let her go, not when I knew I had caused her so much pain.
With a swift motion, I rushed forward and slammed the door shut, blocking her escape.
The sound reverberated through the small house.
Despite her attempts to leave, I refused to let her walk away without trying to make amends.
Aria’s stubborn insistence to leave only fueled my determination to keep her there. “I won’t let you go, Aria. Trouble happens each time I do,” I declared firmly, my hands pressed against the door to block her exit.
Her response came in the form of furious signing, her words sharp and biting. ‘Don’t you worry about your rejected pathetic mate, worry about Ellen, your chosen Luna.”
I couldn’t decipher if her words were born out of hate or jealousy, but one thing captured my attention…her lips. Plump, inviting, and slightly wet from her nervous habit of biting her bottom lip. It was a distraction I could barely resist.
As Aria continued to sign, my senses waverdd. I couldn’t hold back any longer.
And in a swift movement, I leaned in and captured her
lips with a kiss, silencing her protests with the intensity of
