a’s POV

Present.

My blood ran cold as I witnessed the ferocious clash between Aria’s wolf and the larger, male wolf. Aria’s wolf darted and weaved, her movements graceful yet desperate as she sought to fend off her enemy.

Despite her agility, the male wolf’s onslaught was relentless, his jaws snapping and claws slashing in a frenzy of violence.

I stood frozen, my mouth agape, unable to tear my eyes away from the brutal scene unfolding before me.

Aria’s wolf fought with anger and frustration, but it was clear she was outmatched because she was an Omega, with nothing but a weak wolf who was trying to protect her at all cost.

My heart clenched with fear for her safety as the male wolf bore down on her, his massive form dominating the space around her.

Then, in a chilling twist, the male wolf shifted into a plump man, pinning Aria’s wolf against the wall with a vice–like grip around her neck.

Panic surged through me as I realized the dire situation Aria was in. Every instinct screamed at me to intervene, to protect her at all costs.

“Enough!” I bellowed, my voice reverberating through the chaos of the room. The sudden eruption of sound brought the frenzied struggle to an abrupt halt, all eyes turning to me in astonishment.

I could see the shock and confusion was large on their faces, none more so than the man who had dared to lay hands on Aria.

As their gazes fell upon me, I walked forward with nothing but rage, my steps echoing off the grimy walls of the pit.

The sight of me, standing there in the midst of the wretched pit, seemed to stun them into silence.

They had never expected to see me in such a place, and the realization sent a ripple of unease through the crowd.

At that moment, there was only Aria and the man who had dared to threaten her. And I would make him regret it with every fiber of my being.

The man’s pleas were drowned out by the fury coursing through my veins.

With each punch I delivered, I could feel his resistance waning, his groans of pain fueling my rage.

I continued to rain down blows upon him, relentless in my assault, while the onlookers

stood back in stunned silence, too afraid to intervene.

My voice rose above the chaos, it was of curses and shouts directed at the man beneath

Each blow landed with a sickening thud, the sound of bones cracking beneath my fists echoing through the room.

But still, I showed no mercy, the memory of Aria’s struggle flashing through my mind like a bolt of lightning.

As I unleash my fury upon the man, I could feel the weight of my anger pressing down on me like a suffocating blanket.

He deserved every blow, every ounce of pain I could inflict upon him for daring to raise a hand against Aria.

I cursed him with every breath, damning him for his cowardice, for his despicable

actions.

But then, amidst the chaos, I heard Aria’s coughing, a sound that cut through the haze of my rage like a knife.

My heart clenched in my chest as I turned to see her, her pale face contorted in pain, her hand clutching her neck.

lt washed over me as I realized the extent of her injuries, and I cursed

my breath.

With a heavy heart, I pulled away from the battered man on the floor, ordering the others to take him away.

They moved quickly, dragging him from the room as I turned my attention back to Aria.

I approached her cautiously, my heart pounding in my chest, I said, my voice strained with concern. “What happened?”

‘I have work to do,‘ she merely signed and immediately turned away from me without another response.

Anger flared within me at her dismissal, and I growled, “DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM ME, ARIA.” My voice echoed through the room, commanding her attention as she stopped dead in her tracks.

I closed the distance between us, my gaze searching hers for answers.

But she remained silent, her expression guarded as she refused to meet my eyes.

Frustration and concern ate at me as I struggled to understand her silence, my mind racing with a lot of emotions.

My mind was a jumbled mess as I stood before Aria, trying to make sense of the chaos that had unfolded. Without thinking, I uttered the words, “Come with me,” and turned to walk away, expecting her to follow.

As I strode ahead, my steps heavy with frustration, I stole a glance over my shoulder and saw Aria still rooted to the spot, her expression unreadable. A surge of annoyance washed over me as I cursed under my breath at her stubbornness.

Without hesitation, I marched back to her and grabbed her wrist, my grip firm yet gentle as I pulled her along with me. I could feel the weight of her reluctance, but I refused to let it deter me. We had to leave, had to get away from this place and the chaos that surrounded us.

Ignoring the stares and whispers of the onlookers, I focused solely on the task at hand. Aria’s safety was my priority, and I would do whatever it took to ensure she was protected.

With a clenched jaw, I led her away from the crowd, and she reluctantly let me take her

away.
