Chapter 64
Chapter 64
“Quick! Push me over!” Quintin quickly ordered when he heard that something had happened to his grandmother.
Caroline pushed Quintin to the main hall. Before they entered, they heard the sounds of an argument coming from inside.
It was a sharp female voice with a questioning tone.
“Is what I said wrong? Would I have become like this if you hadn’t kicked me out of the Ziegler family?
“Is there such a heartless mother like you? I think you’re the most vicious mother in the world!
“What’s wrong with me being back to demand the division of my portion of the property?”
Upon hearing the voice, Quintin furrowed his thick brows and knew who the person was without looking. The person must have been his aunt. Faith Ziegler, who had been expelled from the Ziegler family in her early years.
Faith clamored to split the family property as soon as she returned. She did not come with good intentions!
When Caroline pushed Quintin in, she saw a woman with curly chestnut–red hair standing menacingly in the middle of the main hall with her hands on her hips.
Catherine, sitting in her chair, sighed with an awful face.
Faith asked Carmen again, “Carmen. I’ll call you Carmen. Tell me. I want my part back, can’t I? It was left to me by my father
before he died!”
Carmen didn’t say anything Jennifer said, “Faith, what else do you think you have? How can the Ziegler family still have yourproperty? How dare you ask for it? If it weren’t for you, would Grandpa have died from anger?”
“Shut up! Jennifer! Shame on you for not marrying at your age! I’m your elder. It’s not your place to interrupt me when I’m talking!”
Faith’s clamor made Jennifer furious.
Then Faith warned. ‘Since you’re unwilling to give it to me, I can only use the lawyer’s method. I’ll get my lawyer to send you a letter. Just wait for the court summons!”
Faith turned around and was about to leave when she saw Quintin in the wheelchair.
“Well, isn’t this Quintin? How did you end up like this? You’re so young, yet you’re already sitting in a wheelchair! The Ziegler family still expects you to be the heir. I think it’s just a waste of time.”
“Faith The family doesn’t welcome you. Why are you back?”
Quintin could not see but could hear the sarcasm in Faith’s words.
Quintin was so mad that the veins in his hands, which were gripping the armrest of his wheelchair, bulged.
It was apparent that he was furious.
How could Quintin tolerate such humiliation if he was in good condition?
“I come back and collect your debt!” said Faith.
Faith thought of something and laughed smugly.
“Well. It’s not that I want to say this, but you’re blind now and have become a cripple. Your son is also mute. Stella’s genes are not good enough. What kind of children was she giving birth to? None of you can do anything!”
It was okay if Faith did not speak. But once she opened her mouth, she humiliated the three generations of Quintin’s family.
“Faith! Get the hell out of Here! Guards! Throw the woman out!”
Quintin couldn’t take it anymore. He held onto the armrests and wanted to get up, but Caroline pressed his shoulders.
In the next second, no one expected Caroline to slap Faith three times.
Slap!
Slap!
Slap!
The sound of the slaps was so loud that it stunned Faith. She was wondering if she was the one who was slapped.
At first, Faith did not take Caroline seriously. She thought that Caroline was Quintin’s nanny or secretary. She did not expect that Caroline actually dared to slap her three times!
Faith’s face burned with pain, and the bright red fingerprints soon appeared on her face. Faith was furious. “Wh6… Who are you? How dare you slap me?”
Chapter 64
“Who am I? You should go around and ask about me! I slap you because you have a bad mouth. You don’t get the right to judge my man! You don’t even look at yourself!”
Caroline retorted rudely.
Quintin’s heart was greatly shaken. He did not expect Caroline to stand up for him on such an occasion.
Moreover, Caroline called him My Man and supported him. But he had never admitted her!
It was clear from the way Caroline addressed him. Faith stared at Caroline in surprise for a few seconds before saying. “Oh, you’re Caroline who married Quintin to wash away his bed luck!
Tve finally seen it today! What a shrew you are! Your mother, Lydia Thompson, was a bad woman, too. Like mother, like daughter!”
Faith didn’t get along with Lydia either when she was young. She returned after learning that Lydia’s daughter was married into the Ziegler family this time.
Why did the bitch’s daughter also come to the Ziegler family to take a share of the property? Was it appropriate for her, the Ziegler family’s daughter, to wander outside?
“Shut the fuck up!” said Caroline.
Faith could insult Caroline, but she could never insult Caroline’s mother! Absolutely not!
Caroline was ruthless. She did not waste her breath on Faith and suddenly grabbed Faith’s hair and pulled her back, slapping her twice again.
“Aah! Let go! Let go!” Faith cried out in pain.
Faith wanted to reach out and grab Caroline, but Caroline grabbed Faith’s hand and folded it behind her back.
“Ouch. It hurts, and it’s going to break…”
Faith grimaced in pain.
Caroline kicked Faith’s back leg, and Faith fell to the ground.
“Listen up! Apologize! Otherwise, I’ll make sure you don’t get out here today!”
“Get the fuck off your hands…”
Faith did not want to apologize. But her scalp was about to be torn off when Caroline pushed her hand hard. It was too painful.
Coupled with the fact that Caroline was lifting her arm up, the pain was simply unbearable.
“I apologize. I apologize…”
Faith finally gave in. I’m sorry. I was wrong! I shouldn’t have said that about you and your mother! I’m sorry, Quintin. I was wrong… I won’t dare to do it again… I will never say that again…”
The scene of Caroline teaching Faith a lesson stunned everyone else. Faith, who no one dared to mess with, now encountered Caroline, who beat her up without a second thought.
It was like everything had its nemesis!
Caroline let go of Faith. Faith rubbed her sore scalp and swollen face, gritting her teeth as she looked at Caroline Lewis. Faith was desperately unhappy but dared not say to Caroline’s face. The woman who married into the Ziegler family to wash away the bad luck was something.
A good girl wouldn’t take a loss when the odds were against her. As Faith ran toward the door, she said, “Let’s forget about it today. But the matter isn’t over yet! Just wait and see!”
Faith ran away. Jennifer heaved a sigh of relief. She looked at Grandma and comforted her. “Grandma, don’t be mad.
“Sigh…
Catherine only sighed and said, “I’m going back to have a rest. You can leave now!”
Catherine got up and wanted to leave. But her eyes darkened, and her body softened, causing her entire body to fall.
“Grandma Grandma…
Jennifer caught hold of Catherine in time. Carmen also called out, “Mom, Mom, what’s wrong?”
Roxanne also looked worried. “Grandma, are you alright?”
“How’s my grandma?”
Quintin couldn’t see it and was anxious.

Chapter 64
Mrs. Ziegler fainted. I’ll go over and take a look!”
Caroline went forward and felt Catherine’s pulse. It was not good. Then, she said, “Michael! Call the ambulance and send Mrs. Ziegler to the hospital!”
“Okay, okay!”
Michael quickly made a call. Not long after, an ambulance arrived at the Ziegler residence. The medical staff carried Catherine into the ambulance.
Michael and Jennifer followed the ambulance. Quintin was worried and wanted to go, so Caroline pushed him into the Ziegler family’s RV and followed the ambulance to the hospital.
After everyone left. Carmen and her daughter stood at the door. They did not go and stayed to guard the house. Roxanne retracted her gaze and said, “Mom, Faith is considered our aunt, right? We haven’t contacted each other for so many years. Why did she suddenly come back? Did she come back just for the family property?”
