Falcon’s POV ~

We found Virgil’s body hidden in a crevice under some rocks. The hunters must have watched a long while, before making a move. Which tells me they had staked out the meadow for some time. There was no evidence of a camp.. and the downfall to their plan was in parking so far away. But.. any closer, they would have been detected.

Axel and Anna have ordered cameras to be placed around the more remote areas of our borders. The cover.. the blindspots.. are not something we can overlook anymore! We lost pack! Our mates were endangered!

Annabelle came in the office.. she was freshly showered and smelled like the warmest apple pie on a crisp autumn day! I pulled her into my lap “I love you so much! I’m so sorry I wasn’t here.” She snuggled into my neck.. telling me not to be silly “ You don’t get to carry guilt for the actions of our enemies! They discovered a breach in our defenses..and that was solely by luck! But now.. I want to pay this slimeball a visit! And when it is time for him to die.. Virgil’s father will have that privilege! We are wolves! An eye for an eye!”

We walked to the cells.. Anna and I in the lead Brady to my left.. Axel to her right.. Marcus and Xavier flanked Martin.. Virgil’s father… behind us. We wanted this asshole to know.. three of our women were injured.. a young warrior killed.. His life is forfeit for that! And he wouldn’t die pretty!

Anna walked into the cell first… she just looked at him for awhile. When she spoke, she was deathly calm. “You hurt my girls! My sisters. You sliced the throat of a young, sweet warrior! You kidnapped my aunt, and could have caused great harm to my baby cousin!” She paused and looked over our shoulders to her right.. and Alvin stepped out of the shadows! My baby! My Angel! She knew he needed this closure, too! “You took this man’s soulmate! His son! You have a lot of dues to pay and today! Today, is the day of reckoning! But.. first.. you bathe..because, seriously dude! You fucking stink! And then.. we get answers!”

We all stepped out to head to the interrogation room.. while Marcus and Xavier turned a firehose on Nathan and Axel poured soap on him. It was one way to get him clean..I reckon. My woman can be vicious..and that is why she is the perfect Luna!

We certainly don’t need this many people to interrogate this scumbag.. but I am using it as a tactic to throw him completely off his game. The guys dragged Nathan in and chained his legs to his chair..his hands to the table. He kept looking at Anna with a sneer on his face. She laughed “Keep looking at me like that and I may start thinking you like me” We laughed, too.. but he spat “Like you? You are an abomination! A freak of nature! A mistake to be eradicated!” She grinned “Such big words for a moron! An abomination.. you say.. something that causes disgust.. hatred.. Now, tell me.. how did I cause that? By being born? So.. let’s clear that up, shall we? YOU hate ME because I was born.. an act I was not responsible for.. I hate YOU because you murder people for the joy of it.. without any definitive motive. I disgust YOU because I was blessed by a Goddess who refuses to acknowledge your existence, at all! YOU disgust ME because of your amoral existence..you can’t even be called immoral, because you have none to begin with.. hence.. Disgusting! So.. by definition.. YOU are the abominable! Mistake? I was no mistake! My parents chose to have me.. to love me.. to instill respect.. and Morals (there’s THAT word again) and pride.. and dignity into all their teachings. They knew what my life would be like.. because of people like YOU.. but taught me how to respond! YOUR parents taught you to hate.. disrespect and disregard anyone different than you are. Then, threw your ass away at the ripe old age of 12! Oops! Who’s the mistake?? Your argument would have a modicum of validity.. had you taken the time to know me.. and Then decided to hate me.. but to hate a species..an entire race.. for being different than you points to your own ignorance! Your inability to understand we are all part of the same rainbow! And without the many colors that make up that rainbow, we would all be the same. And how boring our lives would be! But, you’re too STUPID to comprehend that! You’re ignorant, reprehensible..egregious..and pathetic! And..to be honest.. if I believed your opinion of me had been based on any kind of intelligence you had bothered to gather, I might respect it. As it is.. it is, at best, an uneducated assumption! So,, fuck you for your bigotry and your stupidity!”

I stepped forward and laughed, loud and hard “I gotta say, dude! I’m surprised your clothes are still intact from that BURN! My wife has a way with words..no? Tell me.. what possessed you to be so stupid as to attack my pack and believe you would survive? At this precise moment.. your cell phone and your tablet are being gone through. Before we leave this room.. we will have information on all your contacts.. your financial history.. everything you’ve done.. and your base of operations. My warriors are on standby to raid that base..and leave no survivors! That is what a Kill On Sight order entails. Do you know why that order was issued? Let me explain.. you see this man? (bringing Alvin forward) You took a contract to murder his mate and teenage son. Lone wolves! Strictly forbidden for you to hunt! You knew they weren’t a sanctioned kill! You knew they were not feral.. yet you shot them down in cold blood! For $50K.. Consequences, Nathan! Checks and Balances! And today, you answer for your acts of moral turpitude!”

Brady punched him in the face.. knocking out three teeth. I looked at him.. eyes gaping.. he shrugged “I don’t have anything to say to him.. and Dexter was driving me crazy wanting his pound of flesh “ We all laughed. Next, Axel punched him.. twice! Stepping away he said “He shot my mate.. twice!”

I looked at Nathan and said “Do you have anything to tell us? Anything to say?” He spat blood at me saying “Fuck you! Fuck all of you! And fuck HER!” Looking at Anna… and she shrugged and said “Nahh! I’m good!! I’ve had the best.. wouldn’t fuck the rest!” And everyone laughs again!

Marcus took his shot.. Slamming two swift punches into Nathan’s abdomen and kidney. Xavier roundhouse kicked him.. snapping both wrists chained to the table. Damn! Nice shot! “Bring him up to the training grounds! His real punishment begins now! Alvin.. you and Martin will have your chance at retribution, as soon as our Luna shows this man what it means to harm her family and pack! She won’t be long.. and if she gets carried away, she will heal him enough for you both to have your vengeance!”

Nathan was shoved into the center of the training field..and as soon as he found his feet. She left the ground in a spinning kick.. landing both feet center mass..crushing his sternum. She bent over him.. watching him gasping for breath.. she grinned..an evil, scary as fuck grin.. until he started turning blue. Then she laid her hand on his chest, glowing blue. He started breathing normally and she walked straight into my arms saying “He’s all yours, boys!” Martin and Alvin stepped together into the ring and started systematically, in tandem.. beating the shit out of Nathan! When they felt the beating wasn’t enough.. they ripped him apart!
