The piercing doorbell sound was extremely uncomfortable for me. I frowned slightly and got up from the sofa, planning to jump on one foot to open the door. But before I could move, I saw a servant coming to open the door.

I sat back down, and shortly after, the servant returned, followed by Bella, who entered the house stomping, sporting an angry expression on her face.

I was taken aback, feeling somewhat surprised that Bella had managed to find my residence at Hill Crest One Residence.

Seeing Bella's sense of entitlement, my face turned cold. "Even if I could help you, why should I?" I spat.

Bella's face twisted in anger in return. "Skylar, don't think so highly of yourself. You know very well that it's an honor for you to help me. I'm not unaware that once you help me, my mother will give you your father's letter."

"Let me tell you the truth. If you don't help me today and let Ella and Gerald get married, I'll burn the letter left by your father.

I didn't believe Victoria would be so easy and let Bella destroy something that could be used to be held against her.

I had searched the study room yesterday but couldn't find the letter. If Bella really had it, I wasn't scared anyway. I wasn't scared anymore. Bella was extremely angry at my response. "How dare you?!" She exclaimed.

I challenged her, "How dare of me indeed." My voice was steady and unyielding, a stark contrast to Bella's emotional outburst.

After speaking, I coldly ignored Bella, taking a peppermint candy from the table that Lukas used to quit smoking, and putting it in my mouth.

The servant expressionlessly asked Bella to leave, "Please leave, Miss Bella."
