Lukas thought for a moment and added, "I won't be heading to the company today. I'll go home. There's nothing important to do when I go home, so there's no need to call me."

Skylar POV At Hill Crest One Residence, while I took a half-day leave, I had no idea that a huge upheaval had already taken place outside.

Just as I was being helped downstairs by a servant, I called for Little Skylar to come over and jump into my arms.

However, Little Skylar seemed unhappy after being cuddled by Lukas last night and was reluctant to come to me today. Instead, it jumped onto the tea table and stared at me with big round eyes.
