Carlos began to sweat heavily and blush before he finally found the courage to speak up. He sighed and said, "our powers according to her popped up about two weeks ago on the day my soccer ball accidentally nailed her in the head". Jay giggled a bit before Andrea nudged him in the side and jay frowned and said continue". Carlos said "well after that day, more powers popped up but we only seemed to control them as long as we were near each other... Victoria said she was scared to tell you, Mrs. Mendoza, because she thought you guys would disown her or turn her in for government testing, but then she changed her mind and said she would tell you guys soon". Carlos choked up for a minute before continuing and saying " before the vortex formed..um she um said she liked me after finding out that I um liked her-".Carlos trailed off before finishing the sentence but jay frowned even more and said in a deepened tone" go on, what happened next?". Carlos began to sweat before mumbling "I kissed her" and jay say excuse me what was that?".

Carlos backed away and said, "she kissed me on the cheek, and then next thing I know I gave her a peck on the lips before a purple beam threw me away from her and the vortex formed...please don't hurt me!". Jay flipped out and said "you kissed my little girl! She's too young for kisses...oh lord!" Before Andrea said "excuse us" and pulled him into the other room. Andrea grabbed jay and said "listen to me, get it together, I had my first kiss in 2nd grade and you were a little womanizer so cut the overreacting out so we can find out what's happening to her daughter, find her and save her but first let me make a few calls". After walking back into the living room, Andrea snapped her fingers and Julie, Paula, Raul, and Joanna appeared and took a seat. Andrea said, "they're up to speed so please tell us what happened to Victoria please". Maldor sighed and said "when he kissed her, it acted as you and jays bond does whenever you're intimate...it recharged her powers but instead of them popping up one by one over the course of a few months like you and jays did...they came out all at once because she's young her minds undeveloped and her body couldn't handle those powers all at once".

Aula said, "I'm willing to bet that her powers teleported her somewhere or rather when...our job now is to find out where or when she is and mount a rescue ". Maldor said "wherever she landed her body is definitely draining and possibly unconscious just like you were Andrea... we'll search the universe and scan the area where the vortex was. If there are chronitons; which are time particles there, then she traveled in time and if there a diminiton particles which are particles that make up dimensional rifts, then we'll know she was thrown into an alternate dimension". Maldor said "either way we'll have to confront the issues of them having powers when we get back, but for now, let's focus on attempting to bring Victoria back home". Jay looked at Carlos parents and said" I can send you back home now if you like" and Carlos' dad; Mr. Diaz declined and said "no I think I'll get to meet your family since we'll be seeing each other in the future anyway...plus I need to adjust, I just had my whole religion exposed in front of my very eyes so yeah". Jay shrugged his shoulders and went out to his truck and hopped in along with Andrea, after teleporting it home.

Andrea hopped in the driver's seat and slammed on the gas pedal and said" oh yeah I missed our adventures...being a housewife was so boring". Jay said, "um it's great that you feel the adrenaline pumping but could you maybe drive like a sane person please ?".Andrea said, "sure as soon as I find out what happened to my daughter ill drive sane... at least I know my baby's alive". Jay patted her shoulder and said, "she's a Mendoza, she will survive honey, she's got too much of you in her to not survive". Andrea blushed and said "you always know just what to say to me baby" and jay smiled and said, "you always know just how to keep me on my toes". Andrea giggled before pulling up to the school and parking by the old tree Carlos described. Maldor appeared behind the truck and said "meditate with me Andrea, only you can see the atoms and particles".

Andrea sighed and said "I'll try but I'm a bit rusty" before she closed her eyes and did what Maldor asked. Andrea opened her eyes and her face formed a frown before she looked at Jay and Maldor and said "my baby's out there all alone in another dimension. Maldor said "what did you see? "and She said "diminiton particles, before she fell to her knees in tears. Maldor opened his eyes wide and said "dear glob", knowing that the task that lay ahead would be rough.
