Chapter 32 On the Hot Searching Topic
Molly stopped her fast, "Harriet, I was just joking. If you are caught by the paparazzi, it will be difficult to explain."
"Fine." Harriet compromised.
She continued drinking for a while and felt that it was pretty uncomfortable as her hair was tied up by the head rope. She put her hand around the neck and loosened her hair band. Her waterfall of hair immediately poured down. She shook her head to spread her hair which the wind blew.
The movement was so tempting that almost suffocated all the men on the scene.
She wore no make-up instead of a simple white shirt and denim shorts, showing a pure beauty.
There was natural female beauty released from her body, mixed with a sense of wildness, which deeply attracted men.
Harriet suddenly laughed and winked at the crowd when they were still taken the breath away, "I am so beautiful." Everyone laughed.
The crew consciously dispersed after boasting for a while as they had to get up early to shoot the film the next day. Not far from the barbecue booth, a man stared at Harriet with coldness through the window of a black Maybach car.
Did she always joke with men in the crew when he was not around?
After saying good night to Molly, Harriet returned to her room.
As soon as she closed the door, she was dizzy and fell directly onto the bed.
It seemed as though someone was coming in when she was still in a daze. The heavy and powerful steps were familiar. When the bedside fell, her body leaned slightly and finally fell in a warm embrace. There was a dim and deep voice in her ear, but she didn't hear a word.
Her waist was strangled and her stomach was pressed and uncomfortable. It was shaking fiercely inside. She suddenly mumbled and grabbed something to vomit.
"Harriet!" The man's voice in her ear was sullen.
Harriet was not a good drinker. She was totally unconscious since she had drunk for a long time the night. She felt as if someone was taking care of herself. She thought that it should be Molly so she was pretty reassured about the caring.
When "Molly" carried her to the bathroom to take a bath, she couldn't help thinking:
How could she be so strong as she looked that small?
"Little Molly..."
She fluttered in the bathtub and hugged Molly's neck all at once, lying on her shoulder coquettishly, "Little Molly, I'm feeling quite terrible."
"You deserve it. Why you drank so much wine?"
'Molly's voice was a little rough like a man, but Harriet did not think too much as she was pretty dizzy. She sighed deeply, slurring," You...you would not...be so cranky after...drinking." "What will you think about?"
"Think...about...Wesley... that big bastard Wesley!"
Harriet's eyes narrowed and her face was flushed. When she spoke, the scent of alcohol all poured on the face of the person in front of her, "The big liar, he lied to me..."
'Molly" faded his anger a little bit then patted her head for a while. He took her out of the bathtub after a quick cleaning.
He left the room after the light was adjusted to suitable intensity for sleeping.
The sound of opening the door disturbed Harriet. She opened her eyes confusedly, and could watch clearer but she only could see a glass of water on the bedside table and a figure that disappeared in the bedroom door.
It was familiar which was overlapped with the person in her memory, but she thought that she made a mistake as she was too drunk.
After getting in the car, Wesley leaned on the back of his chair and closed his eyes. The car drove for a while and he suddenly said, "What film did Harriet shoot in these days?"
Jack said slowly on the co-pilot,
"It's a costumed palace film."
"Call their screenwriters and delete the kiss scene tomorrow."
Jack froze for a moment, "Yes."
Early the next morning, Harriet was dizzy when she woke up and took a sip of water. When she saw her pajamas, she couldn't remember how she took a bath or changed her clothes. Only Molly had the door car except her.
She thought Molly was quite careful after she drank the water.
The crew shot normally in the afternoon.
While they were taking a break, Molly suddenly exclaimed, and bounced from the chair. If Bryant did not react quickly, Harriet would have to be upside down. "Hell, my neck..." Harriet touched the stiff neck and looked at Molly very resentfully, "What are you doing?"
Molly hurriedly said,
"Harriet, it's a bad news. You are on a hot searching topic."
"Isn't it good news?" Bryant leaned over and read the content on Molly's phone.
"Harriet Who Is a lover of someone bullied the actress in the Crew?--Wow, it is really a bad news. Harriet, who did you offend?"
"It's too much, who made this rumor?" Molly was furious. "I'll contact the company PR and issue a clarification draft."
"No need to ask the PR for help on this trivia."
Harriet remained her calmness, quickly recalling what she heard in the bathroom that day, "As for who was the culprit, it is obvious that it is the one who was robbed the role by me."
Molly realized immediately, "Irene Whitty?"
The rumor went virus on the Internet within half of a day.
The video attached with the rumor was the part that Harriet auditioned the first protagonist on the day when she was playing the scene that she was outrageous and scolded the maid. People were misled by the video and all were against her.
The tide was turned on before the evening and Molly had not dealt with it yet.
"A charity said that a week ago, a good-hearted person who donated millions anonymously was Harriet in the poverty-stricken mountain in Apricot Hope School."
The telephone interview accepted by the person in charge of the charity quickly spread online, "Miss Clark donated 0.5 million half a year ago and told us to spend the money on the children. How could she bully others as she is a kind person?"
Netizen began to support Harriet with the remittance records given by the charity.
The rumors spread by the network writers was actually fake news. They did not have any evidence to prove what they said. The hot searching topic was even bought by money as Harriet was not a famous actress.
However the exposure of Harriet's anonymous donation intrigued the sense of justice of the netizen. Those unscrupulous marketing titles was shut and the netizen even called on the charity to give Harriet a charitable award and spread the telephone interview content.
Harriet's Facebook fans rose by more than one million overnight.
"What's going on?"
Harriet looked at her fans rocketing in her phone but she was totally clueless, "Molly, is this because the PR?"
Molly had just finished talking with Kate, shaking her head, "Kate said the company didn't know about it at all. She was trying to questioning Irene about it and hadn't had time to deal with the rumors on the Internet."
"This is weird."
Harriet stared at the news on the phone for a while, and a name appeared in her mind somehow.
She couldn't think of a second person except Wesley with such an effective public relations method and effectiveness, as well as being such generous.
Pop Culture Group
"Well, it was Wesley's order."
"Okay, let me ask."
Jack held the handset of the mobile phone to block his voice while looking up at Wesley behind the desk. "Wesley, Miss Clark said she knew about the news. She asked you if you were not in the company and she would like to meet you."
