Chapter 80

Shirley Olson? Was Heidi claiming to be Shirley Olson?

Edward glanced toward the restaurant once more. Out of respect for the fact that his father was acquainted with Heldi's grandfather, he chose not to comment further.

“Mons, you're not young anymore, and you have to be more discerning about what people tell you. I've got something to handle here, so we'll talk later."

Tehoang dinner with Edward hesitated briefly. "The Lady like..."

The lady Edward liked... Barbara recalled what Heidi had said earlier and asked, “Is she Janice Smith?

Edward's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "How do you know that?

Was it from Calvin? But Calvin wouldn't have known, and that left only Heidi.

His expression cooled as he wamed, "Mom, don't interfere with my private life”

Barbara was about to speak when Edward hung up. It took her a moment to realize that Janice might truly have something special to do with Edward. She wondered what kind of woman Janice was for Edward to adopt such an attitude.

In truth, it wasn't about that. Edward had always detested anyone meddling in his attairs ever since he was a child.

When Edward returned to the table, Janice keenly sensed a change in his mood. “Did something happen?” she asked

"Nothing much. It was just a call from my mother" Edward resumed ordering as everything were normal

As they were leaving, Edward looked at her and said, “Let me know if you're ever in a bad mood, we're now a couple in name, after all.""

Janice pressed her lips together. "Alright"

"By the way, I have a dinner party the day after tomorrow. Would you like to come with me?"

Janice would never say no to the gentleness and respect in Edward's tone. She agreed. “Sure, Is there anything 1 should get ready for?” Looking at Janice's gentle expression, Edward smiled. “No need. I'll have everything arranged."

Just as Janice was about to get into her car, he suddenly called out, "Janice."

As she turned around, becontinued, “Don't believe anything anyone tells you unless it comes from me. Can you do that?"

Holding onto the car door tightly, Janice reassured him, “Don't worry. You're my boss, and my loyalty lies with you"

Amidst the autumn breeze, Edward turned and got into the car his driver had brought around.

Simon returned from the prosecutor's office.

Driving at top speed, he arrived at home. Before he could went his frustrations away, he found an unfair

young man sitting in the living room. The man glanced at him and calmly turned back to the TV as if he owned the place.

"Who is he?" Simon asked.

Janelia walked over and uttered in a suit weak tone, "Don't you remember? He's my brother."

"Brother? I never knew you had a brother." Samon frowned.

"We moved away from town back then, so of course you wouldn't know.

Amelia nudged the young man, Adam Burnett, and urged, “Hurry up and greet Simon."

Adam spoke nonchalantly, '

you're back, Mr. Fitzgerald. Now that your company is doing so well, and you've just married Amelia, don't you think the wedding gifts.."
