(Alexander POV)

I spent around fifteen hours in a van with King Darius, Queen Aiden, my sister Rania, Dani, and Ex Gamma Xavier. I think I am about to lose my mind. Driving to Chicago hoping some witch will be able to track down my moon and our pup. I am not sure how much more a can keep my wolf Hunter from losing control and taking control over me. When I thought I was just about to lose my mind we were finally at the apartments she seems to own.

‘Alex, I need to be let out now. Even though it is faint I think I smell Aurora.’

‘Hunter, please calm down now. The smell is so faint that it might not be her.’

He retrieves in the back of my mind and pouts like a two-year-old pup. I looked over to my sister who had finally fallen to sleep, so I will leave her alone to sleep. I get out of the van to see a four-story brick building, but it is a little more modern looking than I would think a witch her age would have. As we walked into the building and ran into a girl. She had dark black hair and dark brown eyes; she was probole an Asian descendent.

“Hi Mizuki, can you tell me where I can find Ana?”

“Your highness, she is with the children play center down this hallway.”

Walking down the hall I realize that the first floor was mostly made up of places like the management office, coffee shop, gym room, and a genuinely nice play area for the kids. We get into the room to see about seven children in the room running and playing. There were many things in the room the kids could play on like slides, playhouse, an area with block for them to play with, some different rocking animals and other things. The children all looked to be around the ages of four and six years old. There were identical twin girls with blonde hair and blue eyes. There was also a boy that had similar features to the girls and most likely their brother. A girl and boy with light ash brown hair and emerald, green eyes. As I was looking around, I found the other boy and girl that dark brown hair with bright blue eyes that reminded me of my little moon. There also was a woman in the room that didn’t look that much older than me.

“Ana my dear, you’re looking well.”

“Well King Darius, what do I owe this pleasure of this visit with you and Queen Aiden? I can see you also brought some friends with you.”

“Yes, this is King Alexander Heinrich, his Gamma Dani Mihaila, and ex Gamma Xavier Pattarasan. Ana, we need your help to find King Alexander finding his missing mate.”

“Yes, I really need your help looking for my little moon Aurora Chandrakant.”

I was given an odd look from her, but before she could even say anything to me, this boy came over to us. It was the boy with the darker brown hair with blue eyes.

“Auntie Ana?”

“Hey Marcus, is there something I could do for you sweetheart?”

“I was wanting to know why I heard my mother’s name.”

Wait, did he just say his mother’s name. I looked closer at the little boy as I kneeled to his eye level.

“So, your mom’s name Aurora?”

“Yes.”

“How old are you?”

“We will be four soon.”

I took a closer look at this boy named Marcus when I noticed a mark behind his left ear, of a crescent moon.

“King Darius, Queen Aiden can you please come over here?”

“What is the matter, King Alexander?”

“Your name is Alexander?”

“Yes, it is a little one. Why do you ask?”

“My mom told us that our dad’s name is Alexander.”

Is this really happening? Could this really be our pup?

‘What do you think about that, Hunter?’

‘I think you might be right about this. Why don’t you show him Aurora picture?’

I pulled out the picture of my little moon so I may show it to Marcus and hope to confirm what I’m feeling.

‘Wait Alex, ask him also what he meant when he said she told us?’

‘I’ll do that.’

I watched him as he took the picture of me. As he studied the picture the word us kept circling around my brain. What did he mean by us?

“Yes, this is our mom.”

I smiled knowing now that I have a son.

“Can I ask you something Marcus?”

“Ok.”

“When you tell us, what do you mean by that?”

“Me and my sister Alexis.”

“Sister?”

“King Alexander, what Marcus is trying to tell you is that Aurora had twins. She’s the one playing over there with the twin named Zoie.”

‘Did you hear that, Hunter? We have a son and daughter.’

“King Alexander, what did you want to show us?”

“Queen Aiden, I wanted to see that this boy Marcus. He has a crescent moon behind his left ear.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“Yes, I’m more than sure just by looking at it.”

She didn’t answer me right away as she wanted to look behind his ear herself.

“Is there a problem Queen Aiden?”

“Do you remember what I told you before that this mark has always past down to the females of the family. Marcus will be the first male white wolf in our family’s history. It makes me wonder if the moon goddess has plans for Marcus’s future.”

That is a good question what the moon goddess does have plans for my son. As I was thinking that I didn’t realize that Marcus called Alexandria over to us.

“Alexis, this man is our dad.”

“Really Marcus?”

I bend down to reach out to both.

“Really sweetheart, I’m your dad. Can I have a hug from my pups?”

They both jumped right into my arms as I held them both close to me, feeling more complete than I have since I lost my little moon. Now all I need to do is to find Aurora to complete my family and my life.

‘Can you believe this Hunter? We have our children in our life. I’ll be a better father to my son than my own father was ever to me.’

(David POV)

I was returning to the play center with Muriel after cleaning her up from a juice spilled onto her outfit. While I was carrying her back that I noticed that we have some guests visiting us today. There were four males and one female that I see in the room. I only recognized King Darius and Queen Aiden but didn’t recognize the other three guys that were there. One of the guys that I didn’t know was holding on to Marcus and Alexis. He was at least 6 “4”, his dark brown hair came down to his shoulder, he wasn’t a small guy that I don’t think any other guy would want to mess with, and his aura was as strong as King Darius himself. I put Muriel down as she ran over to Zoie and Zelda.

“Hey David, I see you and Muriel are finally back. I know that you already know King Darius and Queen Aiden. I would like you to meet King Alexander Heinrich, Gamma Dani Mihaila, and the ex-Gamma Xavier Pattarasan. King Alexander, this is David Zenda. Kayden London and David are the ones that found Aurora.”

King Alexander looked toward me and I’m not too sure, but I don’t think I’m his favorite person or maybe I’m just reading too much into it. He put Marcus and Alexis down to walk over to me as he held his hand out to me too, I guess shake my hand.

“Hi, I’m Aurora’s mate.”

Yeah, for some reason he made sure I heard the mate part loud and clear. His hand tightens around mine to prove a point maybe not to cross him. I’m not sure when but I feel little hands tugging on my shirt to get my attention.

“Uncle David, my daddy is here to take us home with him.”

“Yes Alexis, I can see that and I’m happy for you both.”

Not too long later Kayden and Joshua both walked in with the children’s snacks. They brought some cheese it’s, fruit, and chocolate milk. As soon as Alexis see Kay, she runs over to him and wraps her arms around his leg. She had always been so close to Kay ever since the first day she could walk that she could never leave him alone. It’s a good thing that he already knew what she was going to do as soon as he got into the room so he could brace himself for what she was going to do. It’s funny to see Kay with her because he never bothers to talk or even be around other people.

“Hi angel, would you like to hold on to get a ride over to the table for your snack time.”

Alexis giggles as Kay starts to move his leg while she holds onto it, but he made sure not to move too fast for her to fall off. I noticed that King Alexander didn’t look too comfortable seeing her interaction with Kay. Before he could even say a word to Kay about it, his phone went off and he walked to the hallway. I wonder what that was all about, as I go over to the table to help get the kids their snacks and get them ready for a nap. I was helping when all of a sudden, I smelled lilies and vanilla, and that’s when it hit me that I was smelling my mate.
