Chapter Benson 44
Chapter 44 Silent Conversation
George found Benson standing alone in the cold wind, a lit cigarette in his hand. The smoke swirled in the night air, creating a thin mist that made Benson’s face appear even colder.
His eyes were deep, revealing a complex emotion that was difficult to understand.
Benson’s clothes were somewhat disheveled, suggesting he had just left a place of Indulgence. His tie was loose, and several buttons of his shirt were undone, exposing his skin..
This unkempt appearance was a stark contrast to his usual meticulous image, making George feel an unprecedented sense of unfamiliarity
Hearing George’s footsteps, Benson turned his head. His gaze lingered on George for a moment before he asked, “Marcus left?”
“Yes, young master Marcus is genuinely in love,” George replied. He briefly recounted the conversation between Marcus and Yvonne in the hospital room, trying to make Benson understand the situation.
Benson didn’t respond immediately. He took a deep drag from his cigarette, then tossed the butt to the ground, extinguishing it with his toe.
His movements conveyed a sense of finality, as if he was using this action to calm his emotions. He remained silent about Marcus’s affair for a moment.
After a while, Benson broke the silence. “Tell William I want that car
George was momentarily speechless. He knew William had recently bought that car and was quite fond of it. Yet now, Benson suddenly wanted the car, leaving George puzzled. He couldn’t help but recall the scene when he received the call to drive the car.
Upon opening the door, he was shocked by what he saw inside.
The seats were disheveled, and the air was filled with an indescribable scent, causing his cheeks to flush
In the rearview mirror, George glimpsed Benson’s reflection, looking more disheveled than now. His shirt was open, with visible scratches on his chest, each mark seemingly telling the story of what had just happened.
Without waiting for George’s response, Benson turned and walked towards the hospital building. George stood still, watching Benson’s figure fade into the distance, not following

“Okay.” Yvonne’s voice trembled slightly as she tried to stay calm.
“Really Benson’s voice camed a hint of skepticism, knowing Yvonne was lying.
He remembered the scene when Yvonne was brought to the hospital for the second time
After the blood tests, the doctor told him the drug levels in her body were very high, causing significant stress on her health,
Yvonne felt tensors scrutinizing gaze, an undeniable inspection that made her

A hint of resistance flashed in Yvonne’s eyes, but her body, weakened by the drugs. couldn’t resist Benson’s touch,
After leaving the hospital, Marcus was filled with unease and analety, heading straight to the restaurant where Yvonne was supposed to meet that night.
The cold wind of Las Vegas after the rain was biting, but Marcus felt only Yvonne in his heart, oblivious to the external chill.
Upon leaming that William was also at the restaurant Marcus fest as if his heart had been struck, making it hard to breathe. He stood at the restaurant door taking a deep breath

After a long while, Marcus finally spoke, his voice trembling, “She was in the car.” William looked at Marcus, his eyes red, clearly holding back tears. William nodded, confirming Marcus’s words.
Marcus’s lips quivered as he spoke, his voice full of pain, “Do you know what it’s like to be a boyfriend who was almost there, and then suddenly, it’s all over?”
His voice revealed deep disappointment and despair, with his once hopeful future now shattered. “Marcus, I know you’re hurting. Since you know, don’t dwell on it,” William tried to console him, but Marcus seemed not to hear.
“If Yvonne didn’t like me and told me not to see her, I wouldn’t insist…” Marcus’s voice was firm, then shifted to another topic, “But that man, what does he take her for?”
His voice was filled with anger and confusion. “Why does he want to separate them here, but be with her there? Has he respected her or asked for her thoughts?”
Marcus couldn’t help but recall the moment he knocked on the car window, wondering what Yvonne felt at that time. Now, knowing her situation, he couldn’t leave her alone.
Seeing Marcus about to leave with a dark expression, William stopped him, “What are you going to do? Are you going to cause a scene over a woman?”
Marcus looked at William, “I didn’t ask who that man is because I don’t want to make it hard for you. Don’t stop me from doing what I need to do.”
His voice was resolute, knowing he had to do something for Yvonne. Marcus walked out but stopped at the door to say, “Even if I came late, I don’t regret or feel sorry…”
His voice carried determination. He knew his feelings for Yvonne were genuine, and he was willing to do anything for her.
This incident only strengthened Marcus’s resolve. His feelings for Yvonne burned like a fire, uncontrollable.
He decided, no matter the future, he would treat Yvonne like a treasure, cherishing and loving her like a princess.
