After I Let Go My Alpha He Knelt in Regret

Chapter In Regret Novel 59

Chapter 43

Lorik stepped to the podium, his towering figure dressed not in the usual sharp suits I had grown accustomed to seeing him in at the pack, but in clothing meant for action. A fitted black shirt stretched across his broad chest, and his pants were made of a material that allowed ease of

movement.

He looked both powerful and approachable, though the latter was something I knew to be deceiving.

"My name is Lorik," he began, his deep voice resonating throughout the room. "This semester, I'll be your instructor for combat techniques and tactical strategy. If you have any questions on these subjects, feel free to approach me." His voice carried a natural authority, one that demanded respect.

The girls in the class exchanged glances, some letting out soft, admiring sighs, while others discreetly snapped photos of him with their phones. I, however, had no interest in him whatsoever.

Just then, a daring girl in the front row raised her hand, her lips curving into a flirtatious smile.

"Professor Lorik," she called out, her tone teasing, "can we ask you about life matters too?" Lorik's cold gaze flicked to her, his lips curling slightly as if entertained by the question.

"You cannot," he replied, the humor in his voice subtle but present.

The class burst into laughter, someone from the back shouted, "Then who can?"

He didn't answer, his eyes glancing in my direction, almost imperceptibly. I don't even bother. I just

wanted to do well in class.

Lorik continued with the lecture, diving into the theoretical aspects of combat. He was, to my surprise, an excellent teacher.

His explanations were clear and precise, his tone unwavering, as if he had done this a thousand

times before. Every word was measured, each point hit directly without unnecessary embellishment.

Despite the complexities of the subject, he made it accessible, almost easy to understand.

"Combat," Lorik explained, "is as much about strategy as it is about strength. It's not enough to be strong; you must be smart. You must anticipate your opponent's moves and think several steps ahead. That's what separates a true warrior from a mere fighter." The room was silent, everyone hanging on his every word. I could feel the admiration and respect

growing among the students, particularly the girls, who seemed mesmerized by his calm authority and

undeniable skill.

After the lecture, we moved to the training grounds for the practical session. The space was vast, with various combat zones set up for different types of training.

Lorik demonstrated several techniques, his movements fluid and precise, each one executed with a grace that belied the lethal intent behind them.

"Pair up," he commanded, "and practice the moves I've just shown you. Focus on your form and precision. Strength will come with time."

I found myself paired with a girl from my class, and we began practicing, trying to replicate the Moves Lorik had demonstrated. His eyes on me, watching, observing every mistake, every small victory. But I just focus on my training. After a while, Lorik called several students to the front to demonstrate their progress. My name was among those called. I stepped forward, remain aloof and calm.

Lorik stood in front of me, his expression

nreadable.

"Show me what you've learned," he instructed, his voice steady.

I nodded, trying to suppress the nerves threatening to overtake me. I moved quickly, striking out

with the technique he had shown us.

Lorik immediately dodged, his movements smooth and precise.

But he obviously didn't expect me to be so fast. It was like a gust of wind swept past his sleeve,

which secretly surprised him in his heart - just a little bit closer he was attacked by me.

He didn't expect me to master combat skills so quickly, and my physical conditioning was beyond his imagination.

Lorik's brows deepened, "Again."

This time, he was obviously more serious, and I also changed my strategy, using my advantage of flexibility to sneak attack from the side instead.

The students who were still training under the stage all stopped their hand movements and watched me and Lorike fight.

Someone said in shock, "This, this is a freshman fighting Professor Lorik?!"

Oh my god, I've never seen anyone last more than ten seconds under Professor Lorik, let alone a student who just learned combat skills."

I was so focused that I couldn't hear the murmurs from the stage. I just threw a punch at Lorek, who took his arm to block, and the two of us closed the distance in a flash.

I could see the light of excitement in Lorik's eyes, and it wasn't just at MATE, it was more like he was

looking at a competent opponent.

"My Luna...... You're a genius."
