Chapter 75
Our bodies move, respond to the call of others, to the needs of others while little by little our moans become a little louder. Emma stands up to come and kiss Dorian who is finding it more and more difficult to contain himself, to resist ou bodies which imprison him in the gentlest of embraces. I feel him trembling, shivering while continuing to reach out to m Emma lifts her hips, accompanying these movements, our movements until Dorian capitulates in a cry of pleasure while she herself lets herself go, devastated by the 0****m. Seeing them like this leads me to follow them without me trying to hold back and I sink as deep as I can while spreading myself into him. He falls on top of Emma while I lay on top of him, kissing his mark before sliding to the side and lying on the bed.
Quickly, Emma comes to slip into my arms, quickly followed by Dorian who comes to stand on the other side. I hold them close to me, kissing them in turn. The reality of life will soon catch up with us, I know, but for the moment, I focus on ther on their bodies nestled against mine. On their breaths that caress my chest. On their fingers that mingle on me.
I close my eyes savoring this moment, this unique sensation they give me and 1 let myself fall asleep without thinking about tomorrow.
Emma's POV
When 1 open my eyes, I am still in Jason's arms just like Dorian who is still sleeping. I take a few seconds to breathe in the scents deeply before getting out of bed as gently as possible. I get dressed quickly and leave the room silently. The children will probably get up soon and I don't want them to be alone with this Wolf who is in our living room. I am surprised to see him already awake, sitting on the armchair, his head in his hands.
He quickly notices my presence and quickly gets up to greet me.
- Hello, I said, heading towards the kitchen. How about a good coffee to wake you up?
~ Thank you, I admit that it is not a refusal.
He comes to join me in the kitchen and watches me silently as if he is analyzing every movement I make. After a few minutes, I pour him a cup of coffee and do the same for myself before preparing breakfast for my family. When he sees th amount of food I prepare, he smiles before telling me,
It almost looks like a feast. I have to say it's been a long time since I've seen this much food.
- Wolves are voracious, I'm certainly not going to tell you that and our children take after their father, I said, smiling.
~ This is the first time I've met a family like yours, he adds, taking a sip. It is very rare for a human to be the companion o Wolf and even more rare for her to be that of two Wolves.
- Life is full of surprises. I didn't even know the existence of Wolves and now I have little wolf cubs who will soon arrive, hungry.
I can't help but smile as I fry a pancake.
~1 didn't think a human could be so happy living far from everything.
~1 have a name you know, I'm not just human.
~ 1 know, sorry. I'm used to only being around wolves.
It's nothing, I admit that apart from Jason and Dorian, I'm not a fan of your kind. They injured my men, persecuted us. Without saying that I hate them, I prefer to be far from them.
1 suspect that it won't change anything, but in the pack, many did not support our Alpha's decision. Dorian is a Wolf wh has always been highly esteemed and respected. Nobody wanted that.
- You're right, it doesn't change anything, but it's nice of you to tell me. I don't care about any of that, but I understand you're not going home?
- There's nothing left for me there. I already know it.
I sigh before giving him one of the pancakes I just made.
- You left everything to inform us, it's very commendable of you you know.
- Doc was an important character and if he took the time to send me this message even though he knew he was doomed, couldn't ignore it. I left without looking back. This may be a new chance for me, a new beginning to start again elsewhere bit like the three of you did.
- These are the circumstances that pushed us to come this far. If we hadn't been chased, maybe we would have made a different decision, even if now, none of us could see ourselves living anywhere else. You will find your place, I am sure. At the same time, Melissa comes out of her room and comes up to me, jumping into my arms. She turns to our guest, with reserve before whispering in my ear,
~ Who is mom?
- A friend of one of your dads, my darling. He'll be leaving soon but in the meantime, I'm sure you're hungry.
So I find her innocent smile that made me succumb the first time I saw her. Jason arrives in turn and walks behind me, placing a kiss on my mark before taking our daughter in his arms.
- Your brother is still sleeping, he said, sitting down and placing him on his knees.
- Yes, but I was hungry, so I got up.
- The smell of pancakes also got me out of bed, he replies, smiling.
He picks at the dish while I serve him a coffee. Melissa does the same under the amused gaze of our guest.
- Do you know when you're going to leave again, Jason asks Antoine.
- Emma kindly offered me breakfast, I'll leave afterwards, he replies, suddenly more tense.
- And you are sure of yourself, you are not going back to your pack?
- Sure and certain.
~1 have been a Beta long enough to have had relationships with several packs. If you continue on your way, you will find pack, not very big but it's a good pack. The Alpha in place is a little older than you, he could teach you a lot of things and who knows, you might even find your other half there. There's still a long way to go, but you're a resilient Wolf and you'll get there without any problem.
I'l give you the information to find it, you deserved it after what you did for us.
In less than five minutes, the rest of our little family gets up and we enjoy breakfast even though I already know that as soon as Antoine leaves, Jason will come out to set up even more traps.
Two hours later, Jason gives him a sheet of paper with instructions and we say goodbye to this Wolf who came to give us head start on our enemy. Now we will prepare, we will fortify our territory so that no one can approach.
Yohan's POV
I had to search the entire box but I found a note slipped into a notebook. A single note with an outline and their names marked in red. I was right. No Wolf would have launched such an attack without keeping track of it. Seeing my smile, this Alpha sighs before telling me,
1 conclude that you have what you were looking for.
“Indeed,” I say, folding the document as I stand up. Thanks for your help.
- I'm not sure you should thank me but now that you have what you wanted, I ask you to leave. Our pack has been at pea for years and I don't want that to change, I don’t want to be involved in this Wolf hunt.
~1 understand. I wasn't planning on lingering anyway.
I hold out a hand to him which he quickly grabs and leaves the room without looking back. I don't have a specific address but a direction, a place large enough for them to live there out of sight. Once I get there, I just have to track them to locat them precisely and then the game will begin. I walk more slowly through the pack and out of this territory before studyin this plan further.
I'm starting to understand why no one has heard from them for years. If they have established themselves there, they mu be cut off from the world for many months and in any case, even a human would not be crazy enough to venture into suc a forest which is well known for its steep terrain. I feel that it will be sporty and at the same time, it will only add a little more spice to this mission.
I study the best way to enter this territory and set out. A long shiver runs through me as I now know where to find them. The hunt begins and I am a very good hunter, a hunter who never misses his target. My steps get faster and faster until I my Wolf take over to go even faster. I have been waiting for a challenge of this size for a long time and I admit that I am impatient at the idea of confronting these two legends.
Antoine's POV
As I leave this home, I have a pang in my heart. I must admit that I did not expect to find such a family and yet, I am almo jealous. They seem so happy despite the news I have just brought them, they are happy and do not intend to flee in the face of danger. They are surprising, I am starting to understand why Doc sent me here and even if I must admit that it hur me slightly to have left everything, the possibility of starting everything again elsewhere is a good thing, a wonderful opportunity.
I t00 want to have my own family, I too want to taste the happiness they have. I go deeper into this forest and cross the border of their territory. I hope that this pack that Jason pointed out to me will like me and above all, I hope that I will fir my happiness there.
But above all, I hope they will be able to cope, I hope they will get through it because they deserve it. They really deserve it. 1 would have liked to help them more but I understand that they prefer to manage this alone. I understand that they want to do everything to protect their children. I know they are strong, even Emma is surprising and doesn't tremble in tf face of the situation, yet I continue to be worried. I keep wondering if they wouldn't have done better to keep Emma and the little ones away to protect them.
I sigh as the sun warms my skin. I'm not in a hurry, I have my whole life ahead of me and I'm starting to think that maybe should stick around, just in case. Just to make sure they get through it.
