A Drunken Decision Cynthia Chapter 59
Chapter 59
It had snowed all night the day before. Other than the roads that had been cleared, the other places were still covered in thick snow.
Annabelle stayed upstairs until Lucas came to take her to the Johnson’s in the evening
Although winter arrives every year, Annabelle still really likes snow.
Therefore, when Lucas’s car arrived at their home, Annabelle did not want to go up.
“Can we build a snowman?” Annabelle looked at Lucas and asked eagerly.
“Aren’t you cold?” Lucas looked at her and asked lightly
Annabelle shrunk her shoulders and answered honestly, “It’s cold!” She was afraid of the cold, to begin with. After two days of the temperature dropping, she felt the coldness piercing into her bones.
“We’re going home straight!” Lucas said expressionlessly and held her hand.
“Oh!” Annabelle replied and obediently followed him home.
“Take a hot shower first! I have something to do. I’m going out for a while.” After sending Annabelle home, Lucas watched her take off her coat and change into slippers before saying-
Annabelle looked at him in silence. She wanted to ask, but she didn’t know if she should. Why was he going out? How long would he leave?
“I’ll be back soon!” Even if she didn’t ask, Lucas knew what Annabelle was thinking. Her bright eyes were filled with her thoughts.
“Okay!” Annabelle was relieved that he was not leaving for long. “Drive slowly!”
“Alright!” Lucas replied before closing the door and walking out.
After the door closed, Annabelle returned to her room, took her change of clothes, and went to the bathroom.
She took a shower, washed up, and applied a facial mask.
The man was too outstanding and she felt a sense of danger. She could not do anything else but protect her face.
When she came out of the bathroom, she heard the sound of the door opening.
“Back so soon?” she wondered.
Annabelle’s eyes lit up. She walked out of the bedroom in her slippers.
As expected, Lucas walked in. He was also holding a small red bucket in his hand.
Annabelle’s gaze fell on the bucket, and she was instantly pleasantly surprised.
“Let’s play at home!” Lucas looked at her excited expression and knew he had done the right thing.
Indeed, the red bucket that Lucas brought back was filled with pure white snow.
He had dug a bucket of snow for Annabelle to play with at home.
Annabelle really did not expect that. She was not a three or four–year–old child, nor did she grow up in a place that did not have snow. Even if she could not play with snow, she wouldn’t feel that disappointed. Even if she were to play with snow, her interest would perhaps only last a short while.
But he cared about her little bit of interest.
Oh my, what should she do? She didn’t want to play with the snow anymore. She just wanted to hug him and nuzzle him.
Why was that person so good to her?
While Annabelle was staring at Lucas in a daze, Lucas had already lifted the bucket of snow to the window.
“Hurry up and play it’s going to melt in a while!” The heater was turned on in the room, so the snow was destined to not last long.
“Okay!” Annabelle came back to her senses and replied softly. She felt that her sweetness was off the charts. It was all because of the candy Lucas had stuffed into her mouth. From her body to her heart, it was sweet.
Annabelle sat down beside Lucas. Just as she was about to grab the snow, her outstretched hand was grabbed by another hand
“Wait a minute!” Lucas frowned and thought for a moment. He felt that it was not safe. Her fingers were fair and tender. They would definitely not be able to withstand the cold.
While Annabelle was confused, Lucas had already gotten up. When he came back, he had a pair of leather gloves in his hand
Annabelle was at a loss for words. Didn’t she buy those gloves for the kitchen?
“Play with this on!” Lucas sat down next to her and said calmly.
Annabelle was speechless. She complained inwardly, “How am I supposed to play with this? Just grab the snow in my hand?”

“What do you want to make with the snow? I’ll help you!” Lucas said seriously.
“A duck?” Annabelle looked at him with the gloves and asked uncertainly.
“Sure!”
Lucas didn’t feel troubled at all. Soon, Annabelle then witnessed Lucas‘ amazing hands–on skills.
Whatever she said, he would shape the snow into it. Most importantly, he shaped them so vividly that Annabelle could not bear to let them melt.
“Put these in the fridge!” Annabelle looked at the cute little animals Lucas had made and whispered.
She didn’t wear gloves. Her fingers gently touched the duck’s head, the pig’s nose, the puppy’s tail… She accidentally lost control of her strength and knocked the puppy’s tail off.
She looked at Lucas guiltily. Seeing that he was seriously shaping other small animals, she wanted to stick the tail on it without him knowing. However, not only did she not get it on, but she even shattered the entire puppy!
Annabelle froze. She still wanted to put it in the fridge? What should she do now?
She looked up and met Lucas’s calm gaze. Annabelle subconsciously raised her hands in surrender. “I didn’t do it on purpose!”
Fortunately, Lucas did not mind it. He just crumbled the broken corpse and made another one for her.
In the end, Annabelle successfully obtained nine small animals. Before putting them into the fridge, Annabelle took a photo and posted it on her Instagram.
The photo was of nine small animals made of snow on the black coffee table, as well as a fair, slender, and well–defined hand.
It had the caption, “Thank you!”
Annabelle’s thanks came from the bottom of her heart. No one had ever taken care of her emotions so meticulously.
“Lucas, kiss me!” After posting on Instagram, Annabelle went to Lucas’s side and begged him with a blushed face.
When Lucas heard that request, the corners of his mouth could not help but curl up. He saw that she was blushing, but her eyes were shiny as she
stared at him. How could Lucas not satisfy her?
When he let go again, Annabelle was already panting. She was too embarrassed to look at Lucas, so she could only play with the snow to distract
herself.
Lucas could not help but smile when he saw her like that.
Annabelle’s phone was bombarded with all kinds of messages from familiar and unfamiliar people. It rang non–stop.
Annabelle was not in a hurry to look at it. She carefully sent the few animals to the fridge.
Fortunately, their refrigerator was big enough, so there was no need to worry that there might be no place for them.
By the time she returned, Lucas had already tidied up the room.
After that, Lucas went to take a shower and Annabelle went back to the bedroom with her phone.
After getting on the bed, Annabelle calmed down and read the messages. She picked some messages that needed to be replied to before looking at the dozens of comments on her Instagram.
“What’s going on?”
“Is there a situation?”
“This isn’t right!”
“I want the owner of that hand!”
“No, no, no. The owner of that hand is mine!”
One by one, Annabelle smiled at the messages. But her smile faded when she saw Ashley’s comment.
“You’re not good enough for him!”
