Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 429

Daisy was woken up by the phone before dawn.

"Mom, it's me."

Daisy was stunned for a moment, and then she smiled, because Jacob had never called her mom since he married Bridget, and this was the first time.

She had just woken up, but she was energetic. She said kindly, "Why did you call me at such an early time?"

"Bridget wanted to learn dancing, so I employed her as a private tutor because I was worried that she would be too tired to go to the public dance room ... 1 don't know why, but she was angry with me and didn't come back all night..."

It seemed that Jacob was very nice to Bridget, which made Daisy feel that it was Bridget who made trouble on purpose.

She didn't come back all night?

Then where did she go?

Daisy did not allow her to separate from her husband not long after they got married

"Where did she go?" Daisy asked.

"She didn't go back to the Old Residence?" Jacob, who was gloating about his love for her, was surprised.

Then where could she go?

Daisy got up and went to Bridget's room. At this moment, Bridget was sleeping soundly, holding the quilt in her arms and not noticing anyone coming in, who was looking at her with a complaint sight. Jacob said, "Mom, I have to hang up now. I'll go and find her."

Jacob did worry about her. Bridget followed Mr. Jones to the army in her early years, and she had no friend in W City. Then where could she go if she wasn't at the Old Residence?

He was about to hang up and go out to find her.

"You don't have to.” Daisy held the phone. "She's sleeping here. Don't worry. I'll send her back.”

He stopped and sighed with relief, "Thank you, mom. I won't make her angry again.” He said with a smile.

His apology made Daisy's guilt deeper. "It's Bridget's fault, not yours. You wait at home, and I'll let her go back."

Hanging up the phone, Daisy stood in front of Bridget's bed. When did she come back?

"Bridget!" Daisy called.

Bridget had a dream. She was in the African savannah and was chased by a ferocious lion. She ran as fast as she could in panic, but suddenly, the lion roared. She was so scared that she sat up from the bed with sweat on her head. Why was the unfriendly look in front of her so similar to the lion who was going to eat her?

Had she awakened?

She rubbed her eyes and saw who was that. Instinctively, she sat back and said, "Mom, why did you get up so early?"

"When did you come back?" Daisy asked angrily.

She blinked. "Last night, Jacob the psycho..."

"You want to learn dancing, don't you?" Daisy interrupted her.

Bridget felt that her mother was strange, and she was somehow afraid of that.

"Bridget, I'm asking you!"

Bridget took a deep breath and suddenly remembered that Arya slept together with her here last night. She quickly turned around and tried to find someone for help. However, there was no one on the bed. She was in a daze. "Where's my sister-in-law?"

"Answer my question!”

Bridget paused for a second and nodded. "Yes."

"Jacob was afraid that you would be tired in the dance room and hire a private teacher for you, but you were angry with him and ran back. Do you think it's right? What will he think of you? You're not a child anymore. How can you be so willful?"

Jacob had told Daisy about the situation in advance and kept saying that it was all his fault. However, he was hinting that Bridget was the one who made trouble.

With preconceived thinking, Daisy felt that Bridget was the wrongdoer.

She had been married once, but why didn't she know to cherish such a good person as Jacob? "He's crazy. He made me..."

"Come on, get up quickly and go back after breakfast.”

Bridget said nothing.

What happened?

What made her so angry?

She got up and chased after Daisy without putting on her shoes. "Did Jacob call you to complain..." Daisy stopped and looked at her daughter, trying to explain. "Jacob didn't complain. He just said it was his fault.”

She sighed. "Bridget, you can't be that willful. This is your second marriage, but it's Jacob's first time..."

Second marriage?

Should she die for her Second marriage?

Bridget was also angry. "Jacob may not be a virgin although he hasn't married before. Why do you only ask me to do this?"

"You..."

Daisy was too angry to say anything.

Bridget left angrily without eating.

"Having your breakfast first.” Although Daisy scolded her, she still wanted her to live a happy life. When she got home, Bridget found that Jacob was standing in front of the mirror, arranging his collar. Seeing her coming back, he raised his eyebrows slightly, as if he was surprised that she would come back so soon.

Bridget changed her shoes and walked in. She stood aside, with her arms folding over her chest, and looked at him up and down with tuts.

Jacob looked at her warily. "What are you doing?”

Bridget chuckled. "Looking at a dog wearing human clothes.”

From her face, Jacob knew that she must have been scolded by Daisy. He was not angry; instead, he smiled. "The dance teacher will come at seven o'clock. Practice hard at home, and don't disappoint me..."

As he spoke, he leaned over to her and whispered, "You won't make me tell Mom and let her worry, don't you?"

Bridget said with her teeth gritted, "Jacob, how shameless are you?"

He put on his tie and coat and glanced at her faintly. Her small face was flushed with anger, and she was staring at him as if she was about to bite him. He smiled and rubbed her hair, "Well, well. Study hard, and I'll buy you delicious food."

She pushed his hand aside with her mouth corner twitched. What did he think she was?

Delicious food? Was she still a child?

She turned around and snorted coldly. "Not interested?"

Jacob smiled and wore his shoes at the door, and said before he left, "I'm leaving. I'll be back early tonight.”

She waved her hand and looked for food in the kitchen,

The teacher came as she finished her breakfast.

She did come.

But she didn't dare to go home again. She didn't want her mother to be worried.

She had to practice at home.

Bridget was strong, but not that flexible, so she couldn't finish the movements such as twisting and swinging her hips accurately. Therefore, the teacher specifically asked her to practice these two movements.

It was okay to practice for a few hours. But she could not bear to practice dancing for a whole day except for dinner time.

Her back and legs hurt.

When Jacob came back, she was sitting on the ground with a sad face...
