WitchCraft Academy (The First Book)

Chapter The Twenty First Chapter

The following day, The Sisters successfully complete the protective ritual, ensuring the safety of not only myself but also Silas. With their powerful spell, his uncle no longer has the ability to bind himself to either of us. Additionally, they cast another protection spell around the school, making sure he never finds us, even though it's hard to find the school entrance in the mountains anyway. Despite being scary as hell, The Sisters prove to be incredibly badass.

Time seems to fly by in the next few days, and Silas is finally granted his own room in the Staff Dorms. I can't help but feel relieved that he can now freely roam the hallways. However, the staff and students have mixed reactions to his return. Some treat him with respect and curiosity, while others regard him as if he were the murderer.

Ever since Silas joined us at the Academy, Axel completely avoids me. It's obvious that he has been spending a significant amount of time with Sophia, and I suspect that they are dating. Not that I care, of course. I simply miss his company because he is the only one who matches my rebellious nature and sarcastic attitude.

"Do you think it would be a good idea for me to spend the night at Ethan's so you and Silas can have some alone time?" Juniper inquires as I finish up in the shower before bed.

"You don't have to do that," I respond, setting aside the towel and changing into more comfortable attire.

"It's no problem at all. You've done the same for me countless times. Plus, Ethan loves having a girls' night," she chuckles.

"That's true," I admit. "Thank you, June. I'll send Sable to talk to him right away."

"No," Sable hisses. "I'm not going anywhere."

"You need to get your ass up and go see Silas so I can invite him here. And no attitude," I say firmly, slightly annoyed. My bearded dragon leaps off the floor with a huff of annoyance, and I open the door to let him into the hallway to deliver the message to Silas. Well, technically, I'll be delivering the message, but it's a bit complicated.

"You really need to train him better. He's so lazy," Juniper comments. “Karma always listens to me.”

"That's not my fault. I think it's just his natural personality trait," I tell her, settling on the bed and focusing on my connection with Sable. I close my eyes and suddenly, I feel myself in the lizard's body, flying down the stairs and making my way towards the staff dorms. I hasten as fast as my little legs can carry me until I reach Silas's dorm, and I start scratching at the door with my long nails.

Silas opens the door, and I look up at him, speaking in my normal voice from Sable's body. "Meet me in my room at midnight."

He nods. "I'll be there."

I open my eyes, and I'm back on my bed. Juniper has already left, and I find myself alone in the room. I head to the bathroom to quickly brush my hair and teeth since midnight is only an hour away. After, I clean up the books, movie cases, and clothing that's scattered across the room and make my bed so that I don't look like a slob. This will be the first time Silas has ever seen my room.

I hear a knock at the door as I finish rearranging and I glance at the alarm clock on my nightstand, seeing it's still thirty minutes before midnight. Maybe it's Axel? For some reason, my heart skips a beat at the thought of seeing him.

I open the door surprised to see Silas, who immediately cradles my face with his hands and begins kissing me passionately, shutting my door behind him. I kiss him back intensely and we pull away, breathing hard but he keeps my face cupped in his hands.

"I know I am early but I had to see ye. I could not wait." He tells me, still catching his breath.

"I'm glad you are early," I tell him. "Things have been so busy with school, the murders, and everything else, we haven't gotten any time together."

"According to Valerius, everyone at the Academy is talking about us, as lovers." He teases, referring to his familiar, a scorpion named Valerius who can change sizes from very tiny to very large, although he prefers to stay tiny from my understanding.

"It's a small school, we only have about six hundred people, students and staff," I explain. "People love to gossip."

"That's something our realms have in common then. Is it gossip if it is true?" He smiles down at me, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me again, this time his tongue exploring my mouth without hesitation.

He lifts me effortlessly, pinning me against the door with a hunger in his eyes. Our lips collide in a passionate frenzy as we synchronize our movements, eagerly discarding my shirt, leaving me exposed and vulnerable. With a firm grip, he carries me to the sanctuary of my bed, shedding his own shirt along the way. Every kiss he plants on my neck elicits a delightful moan that escapes my lips, a testament to the pleasure coursing through my veins.

Silas places his hand gently over my mouth, muffling any potential noise. His warm breath tickles my ear as he whispers, "Shhh. Let's not awaken the entire Academy, shall we?"

I nod in agreement, fully aware of the leniency The Sisters have shown me amidst the current circumstances. Having wild sex within the confines of my dorm would be pushing my luck.

Slowly, he removes my sweatpants, exposing my nakedness to his hungry gaze. He follows suit, discarding his own pajama pants. It still feels surreal to witness him adorned in modern-day attire, a departure from his customary medieval clothing and black cloak.

"Wait," I interject, a hint of urgency in my voice. "Grab a condom from the nightstand drawer."

Silas furrows his brow, a mixture of curiosity and concern etching his face. "The...evil penis constrictor?" he questions.

"It's not evil," I assert stubbornly. "It ensures our safety and prevents any unwanted pregnancies. We won't be having any unprotected sex anytime soon."

Reluctantly, he leans over, retrieving a condom from my dresser. With careful precision, he puts it on. As he positions himself above me, our naked bodies meld together, and he firmly holds my arms down, intensifying the force of his passionate kisses.

Our hearts raced and our bodies connected in a way that was beyond words. It was like time stood still as we lost ourselves in a moment of pure bliss. The world around us faded away, and all that mattered was the intense passion we shared. At that moment, we didn't care about anything else. We just let go and embraced the magic that unfolded between us.
