Warfare of the Brain

Chapter The Void

It’s nearly impossible to describe how being empty feels like.

Sometimes it’s when you feel nothing.

Sometimes it’s when the only thing you feel

Is an internal, eternal pain.

Sometimes it’s when you become the worst person on Earth:

Cold, calculating, ruthless, rude, and resorting to nasty measures.

Sometimes it’s when not a single person

Can realize your pain hidden behind your smile.

For me, I can feel it all at once.

For me, I can feel it when a hole inside of me is made.

For me, I can feel it when it’s simply nothing.

It surrounds me and consumes me.

It always haunts me and I cannot escape it.

There is nothing that can make this emptiness go away.

I am tired of it.

I am tired of everything.
