Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 55

Chapter 55 You Get On My Nerves

But that was Cordelia's ideal situation. On the way to Eva's house, she found out that Gideon had gone to the hospital to recuperate and was not at home.

“Cordelia, I've reminded you a long time ago. Don't underestimate that cripple. She's very scheming. You're so

careless.”

Edith sat in the passenger seat, advising Cordelia earnestly.

As a mother, she couldn't intervene in Elijah’s life too much as the marriage was between Elijah and Cordelia.

“It's my fault. I'm too soft,” Cordelia responded while driving.

Edith sighed, “No matter what, you'd better hurry up and have a child. It doesn’t matter whether you have a boy or a girl. Gideon is anxious to let you have a child.”

Cordelia didn't take Edith's words seriously. How could she have a child with Elijah? She didn’t want to have anything to do with him!

Soon, they arrived at the door of Eva's apartment.

Edith frowned. “This house belongs to Elijah?”

“Yes.” Cordelia lowered her eyes.

WwW

She was actually a little nervous while bringing Edith there. She wanted to catch Elijah but was also afraid of seeing a filthy scene, so she was struggling.

Edith sneered and knocked on the door directly.

Not long after, the door opened.

The one who opened the door was Elijah.

He was dressed like an elite during the day, but there were some wrinkles on his shirt and trousers.

Without saying anything, Edith walked in and looked around the living room with sharp eyes. Seeing the pillows and blankets on the sofa, she stared at Elijah.

Elijah whispered in Cordelia’s ears sternly, “Cordelia, well done.”

“You forced me,” Cordelia said coldly, without even looking at him.

At this time, Eva said coquettishly, “Elijah, it's so late. Who's here?” “They're looking for me. Don't worry about it. Go to sleep!” After speaking, he said to Edith in a low voice, “Mom, let's talk outside.” Edith gave him a glare and pulled Cordelia away.

“You've seen it. There's nothing between them. I'll talk to him later. Don't let him run about at night. Do you hear me?” Edith

said to Cordelia.

“If he can listen to me...” Cordelia frowned, absent-minded.

Elijah probably had bid farewell to Eva. When he came out, he had put on his coat.

“I don't care what reasons you have. You can't stay at another woman's house overnight. Apologize to Cordelia!” Edith said coldly.

Elijah smiled mockingly. His eyes were freezing. “You even bring my mother here? Why didn't you make a fuss?”

Before Cordelia could speak, Elijah said again, “What should I go back? To look at your cold face?”

Cordelia didn't expect Elijah to blame her in front of Edith.

“Stop making excuses,” Cordelia sneered.

Edith had received an intimate photo of them from Nora before, so she thought they were just having a fight.

“Come on. Stop fighting,” Edith said in a stern tone.

As Edith was there, Elijah and Cordelia stopped arguing.

Cordelia first sent Edith back to Hansen Villa. After getting out of the car, Edith called Elijah aside and said something seriously.

After that, Elijah returned to the car with a dark face.

After Edith entered the villa, Cordelia was about to start the car, but Elijah held down her hand.

Cordelia raised her eyebrows.

Elijah stared at her with sharp eyes. “Cordelia, you get on my

nerves.”

Cordelia sneer, “I know. So what?”

It was just the beginning.

Cordelia would never suffer in silence again!
