Chapter 16.1
I was floating in the blue swirl tunnel again but this time I stuck the landing. I looked up from my feet and saw her seated on the throne. She was smiling at me, like she was proud that I landed while being spit out by a portal.
“Hello Asema” her voice sounded of string instrument.
“Hi” I replied, I took a few steps but stopped because apparently, I was blind as there was a earth the size of a exercise ball hovering above the stone floor in front of me. With instinct I ended up hopping back and looked at the object with confusion.
Kadea rose from her throne and floated towards me and around the earth stopping face to face with me. I stood there and waited which felt like forever till she brought her gaze to earth. I joined her seeing how it glowed.
“welcome back” she began to stroll around the globe, “how had life been treating you?” she asked as if we were having a normal conversation.
“It’s fine I guess, just working to learn and defend myself” I replied while wondering where this conversation was going.
“What have you been learning?” she gestured me to stroll with her which I did.
“Learning how to fight like a warrior” I replied.
Kadea sighed and walked away towards her throne while I stood there clueless on what just happened.
“I hoped that prophecy would not come true” her voice filled with disappointment and I felt a sudden sadness.
I scrunched my face, “excuse me?”
“Well, if that prophecy came true then an event which I hope will not happen” she sighed thinking to herself as if she was staring at the future.
Okay now I was utterly confused.
“Sorry, but what?” I replied.
“Some prophecies go with events that change behaviour, which I hope another prophecy will come true” she spoke so casually as if not realizing that was a maze in my head.
“What other prophecy do you want to come true?”
“And in the end the two shall come together, casting a change for a balance of light” Kadea stared at me.
Unable to speak, I walked over to the globe and looked down onto it and soon France with Germany had a few clouds scattered.
“Beautiful isn’t it” Kadea said coming up behind me.
I looked sideways at her and it almost looked like she was dreaming. I gazed back down to where I had my gaze before.
“I guess it’s beautiful, not much else to say since it is the earth” I shrugged my shoulders.
Kadea sighed, “There is so much for you to learn” she then walked back to her throne and sat down. “So much for you to discover about this life and what you are capable of.”
My gaze went to the and saw that her eyes were quite bright, reminding me of the moon and stars that twinkling in the night sky. Was she right that I was more capable of something than I thought?
“What is on your mind?” her voice drifted to my head.
“I am not sure; I know I have powers of all four elements but I have other powers that don’t make much sense.”
She gave a sympathy look. “There are many things that people try to understand but that should not stop you for finding out what you need to know” she added a smile at the end.
I turned my attention to the earth then back at her crossing my arms over my chest.
“Would seeing things in the future make a person able to create prophecies?”
Kadea chuckled at my question, “No prophecies are out of my control, vision known as premonitions are signs and warnings that I send” her gaze wen behind me to the earth. Then slid back to me.
“Wait” my heart skips a beat, “you have been sending me premonitions?” I questioned.
She nodded.
“Why? A Warning?”
“Yes, a warning, I see darkness and I send signal that translates a future, I cannot see.” He eyes slid back to behind me, “It seems you should head back.”
I twirled following her gaze and found a bit a Canada especially Newfoundland coming into light.
I shot my gaze back at her, “time is different here.” I suggested. She nodded in agreement.
I made my way to the blue portal and didn’t look back as the portal sucked me in again.

The rest of the week was school but I tuned that out, sadly for some reason as my main focus was on practice training.
Wolf thought we should try climate training and here we were on a field trekking through snow dueling with one another. It was definitely harder to fight especially with ice that I have slipped on a few times. But as Wolf said.
“It’s not how strong or good you are it is knowing how to fight in certain situations even when unexpected happens.”
I would grim at his sayings and continue on to not slipping and gain some power for advances. I would go high and low and, on his attacks, while the cold would nip against my cheeks.
Soon if the cold became too much for me, we would warm up back in the gym. Or we would go to different areas of the school and Wolf made me do sense training. It irritated me but yet I would see why it was important as I began to sense things a head of time as in the distance someone crying to chattering and clicking noises on the stone.
Soon when I apparently was getting better Wolf would do secret advances on me where I almost blindly defended myself. Either I was successful or found myself to late and ended up facing Wolf where he had me pinned.
“Remember expect the unexpected” he always reminded me when I failed to defend myself. I never replied but nodded that I understood.
One day Wolf brought us to an area that clearly looked like a ballroom as mostly natural light from multiple windows lines the walls.
Wolf dropped a bag that sounded heavy with equipment. I looked around the room and wondered what we were doing on the last day of the week while thinking about my dark vision I had again though it changed with only slight details. The only difference was, a cool feeling slipped through my skin and in the distance, I could hear some sort of creature, but they were never clear enough in my vision.
“Asema” Wolf called and I swung around my attention to him. Suddenly I felt the atmosphere became very different. I strolled over to him as he stood.
“What are we learning today sir” I saluted him in a joking matter but Wolf did not smile back. Making my body go still. Something was serious and it was not joking matter.
“I taught you common forms of basic training…but there is such thing as good pure fighting and evil sources of fighting.”
I narrowed my eyes and crossed my arms, “what is the difference?”
Wolf closed the space between us and embrace my face as I already enchanted by his eyes. “I will show you… but when I show you evil please do not push me away after.”
Confused by this I nodded with a ‘yes’ of whisper. He crouched down and dug into the bag retrieving two fencing sabers. Threw one to me and I caught it.
He flicked it around, from what I assumed, getting a feeling from the weight. I followed, feeling how light it was to how heavy it went.
“Good pure fighting, the intention is to make the opponent wave the white flag” he advanced and I blocked it a few hits and clocks of metal echoing the throughout the room.
“it’s also self-defence to kill if they do not back down.”
He advanced again, our feet worked in sync and the metal clicks sounded. I batted away his hits but he careful, tried to come at me as if in thought about something.
He came at me again and I forcedly twisted his blade enough that if flowed out of his hand into the air and away from him. He didn’t seemed shock but he went for his weapon while I ran after him and swung my blade again which was blocked by the retrieved blade.
I didn’t expect it but suddenly I found my back to Wolfs front and he whispered in my ear.
“Mercy is in pure fighting…” his accent thickened making him sound sexier. “Only unless absolute necessary, injure or kill your opponent” he let me go and I put some space between us.
“Okay” I replied balancing the weight between my sword. “Sounds simple, but evil fighting differs?” I asked not paying attention to Wolf as he stayed silent to that question. I didn’t realize it and slowly turned around to see Wolf look as if he was in pain.
“How dark is this fighting?” I waded slowly.
He sighed almost wanting to do anything else, then show me.
“Wolf?”
He gazed at me apologetic, “You have to understand that I am showing you, it is not my true emotion…understood?”
I nodded my head slowly as he motioned me in front of him. I stood before him. He raised his blade as did I.
“Evil fighting is basically, no humanity, just pure torture. No mercy even when your opponent is waving the white flag. It is hopelessness and fills you with darkness” he advanced and I casually blocked it with return of clicking metal.
“The form is to kill no matter what even the helpless who aren’t fighting” he said through puffs of air.
I continued to block but it became harder as well, his advances were becoming forceful. It was almost like he wanted to kill me.
“Only time to kill or seriously injure is when you absolutely have to, this is just pure torture” he started to shout. But sounded barely audible.
I soon found his hits on my blade began to hurt and had an uncomfortable vibration that crawling up my arms. I was becoming afraid as Wolf was not backing down. He was concentrating and I began to get scared.
To a surprised sweep and I tripped landing hard on to my back, pain embedding into my back. I clenched my teeth with a sob escaping my gasps.
I by instinct threw up my blade which was painfully hit away. Wolf landed hard on my chest legs on either side of me and down his sword to my chest. I closed my eyes feeling hopeless.
“Open your eyes” his voice suddenly calm and soothing.
I peeled them open and saw that the saber was hovering just above my chest.
“Only unless necessary you kill each other; other dark force will take control. Anything counted as unfair will be evil fighting” he dropping the saber and picked me up as he came to his feet. “that is why it is hard to distinguish what is pure and evil…but” he stared a time in the eyes, “always remember mercy” and brought me into a hug as I found myself shaking from what just happened.
“I am sorry… I will never do that to you again.”
