Tide of Life

I can’t read, I can’t write

I have no job

I am deaf, I am blind

I am poor, I am just a kid

I had no voice

“I can hardly find food to eat"

No shelter, no family

I don't have anything in this world,

that I can call mine,

But a mere chance to live my life,

I can’t walk, I can crawl

I am ill; I have no home

What am I supposed to do?

Where am I supposed to go?

I can live but I was deprived to find a better life,

I was once a child

I am a man, I am a person

I deserve a hand; I had the urge to survive!

I have a dream, give me a chance!

Let me dream that I can live in this life

That I fit in this society,

Not just a hopeless,

useless old Man

living in the streets

“A beggar” is how you addressed me.
