Through The Eyes Of My Alpha

Through The Eyes Of My Alpha Chapter 75

Through the eyes of my alpha Chapter 75
RILEY My eyes found Nadia and the female who was trying to touch her. This is not a fucking child! And before I could stop
myself, I was already growling and rushing toward my mate. I was almost on the verge of snapping the female’s neck if Aeon
didn’t speak up. Although I wasn’t comfortable having a rogue in my car or my territory, I trusted Aeon.
I could see there was something more to this female.
And if he thought she could provide him with the information he needed, who was I to stop him?
Aeon’s mother, Alpha Argon’s Luna, was beheaded by a self-proclaimed Rogue Alpha of the South.
And ever since the day she died, Argon hasn’t stopped looking for him.
He wanted his head and he made sure Aeon had the same goal.
And although Aeon was acting a bit strange, I couldn’t totally read him.
That’s the fucking annoying thing about Alphas, you can’t easily read their emotions.
What they show might be different from what they think and feel.
I chuckled internally at my thoughts.
I almost forget I’m an Alpha as well.
And we mastered these emotions at a young age.
We were not allowed to lay everything out in the open.
Because if you show them you’re weak, you’ll be the next target.
.
.
As soon as we arrived at the pack house, I offered Aeon to stay for dinner.

I told him he could leave the female in the cell at the other building while we ate, much to Nadia’s dismay, but it was Aeon’s
answer that surprised me.
He wanted to take the female to eat with us, with the promise that she would behave.
And the way the rogue was glaring at him, I didn’t think she would behave.
Until it was my Luna who invited her for dinner.
I still didn’t trust the rogue.
She could be a spy, like Alpha Argon kept saying to Aeon, and taking her inside my pack house was a big risk.
But there was something in the way that Aeon stood his ground to take the female with him or they would have to leave without
dinner that made me bend and allow her entrance to my pack house.
Apparently, Aeon didn’t trust anybody in my pack when it came to “his” rogue.
He wanted to make sure no one would touch or hurt her.
I couldn’t blame him.
A rogue is a rogue.
And it would always be a sore topic in every pack, especially here in the South, where Achilles, the Rogue Alpha, was known for
terrorizing weak packs by stealing or killing their she-wolves.
So Aeon had a valid reason to fear that someone from my pack would snap and kill Alexa on the spot.
After dinner, I walked them out of the pack house and I handed him the key to one of my cars.
Jenny had provided clothes for the rogue, but I had no idea where she took the clothes for her because Nadia and she were
taller compared to Alexa.
But it was none of my business.
I just wanted her out of my territory right away.
which was the exact opposite of my Luna.

Nadia seemed at ease with Alexa.
And so was Jenny.
They didn’t discuss anything personal or any details with her except how they liked each other’s hair and clothes, to which Alexa
replied with a meek smile and a blush.
She didn’t talk at all, maybe because Aeon was watching her the whole time as well.
But I couldn’t blame Aeon.
I was watching Alexa as well.
I will admit I was terrified she might do something that would put Nadia and our pup in great danger.
This night’s dinner was the only time I had warriors standing around us in the dining hall.
I didn’t care what everyone would think.
I didn’t want to take a risk.
“I’ll send someone to drive your car back.
” Aeon’s words snapped me back to the present.
We were standing by the steps while Nadia and Jenny were still inside the pack house, packing some food they could take for
the travel, while Alexa was already on the grounds, surrounded by two of my men and Gamma Sebastian.
“Sounds good.
My Gamma will drive behind you just to make sure you’ll safely drive out of my territory.
” “Are you fucking scared she would run away and go on a killing spree here?
” “No.
I’m more concerned that she has some hidden power and will kill you soon.
Well, she can, but not in my territory.

” “Fuck off.
” He chuckled.
“You fuck off and concentrate on your fucking goals because I suspect you’re lusting after this female.
” There I said it.
“What?
No way.
” He let out a smug smirk as he shook his head.
“Just my thoughts.
Prove me wrong then.
” “Alpha Aeon...” Our conversation was cut short by the sweet voice of my female.
“Luna Nadia,” He bowed at my Luna as Nadia slid her arm around my back and snuggled on my side.
“Are you planning to kill Alexa?
” Whoah.
I chuckled at Nadia’s question.
That was straightforward.
“No.
” “Are you just saying that because it was me asking?
” “No.
” “Okay.
Can you make sure she stays alive?

” “Yes.
” “I will visit her in two weeks.
If I find her dead, what should I do with you?
” My eyebrows raised.
Where did she get the idea that I would allow her to visit Aeon’s territory?
“Are you making a pact with me?
” “Yes.
” “Wow.
So what do I get from this?
” “Nothing.
I want you to honor your word, Alpha Aeon.
” “Nadia, if the rogue becomes a threat to his pack, eliminating her is the smartest choice,” I told her, as I pressed her body
closer to mine.
“It needs to be proven that she is.
Not just hearsay or whatnot.
I’m not good at reading people, but I don’t think she wanted to be who she is.
She might just be in a bad place like I was.
But looks like she’s in a far worse place than I was.
” “I’ll keep that in mind.
But you have my word, I will not harm her or kill her.

” “Will you protect her from your father?
” “My father will not touch her.
He gave me his words.
” “Again, Alpha Aeon, will you protect her from your father?
” Nadia’s voice was raised slightly, and I could hear determination and authority in it.
“I will.
As long as she follows the only rule I’m setting for her, not to shift into her wolf.
” “But the shackle.
It’s degrading.
” “No.
That’s non-negotiable.
” “You’re cruel,” Nadia told him directly, and I had to suppress my laughter because Aeon was taken aback by her words.
“Think whatever you want to think of me.
That female has a temper, and I’m sure once the shackle is out, she will try to shift.
And the moment she does, she’s as good as dead.
That shackle is her only key to being alive, so if you want me to keep my word in keeping her alive, then don’t ask me to take it
off.
” “Are there no other options so she doesn’t have to be shackled?
” “Wolfbane,” He chuckled, “But it will eventually kill her.
So no, I can’t think of any other options at the moment.
” I brushed my hand against Nadia’s arm.

I knew she was still upset seeing Alexa with a shackle on her neck, but Aeon was right.
His father, Alpha Argon, wouldn’t think twice about killing her if she tried to shift, “You better start driving now,” I told Aeon to
break the tension between him and my Luna.
“Yup.
Thank you for your generosity, Alpha Riley, Luna Nadia.
” He flashed us a weak smile.
His eyes looked tired, but he puffed his chest out as he turned around and went to where Alexa was standing.
He grabbed her arm without saying anything and guided her towards the car.
Alexa didn’t complain this time and just let Aeon take her to the car, but her gaze was fixated on my mate, her eyes pleading.
“We can’t do anything, my love.
This is for Aeon to handle, not ours.
” I whispered, my lips kissing her hair, as her hands gripped my shirt tightly.
“Do you think we can trust him not to kill her?
” “He’s a man of his words.
And I don’t think he would deceive you if he promised you one thing.
He would face my wrath.
” “But you don’t like Alexa.
” “I don’t like everyone, except you.
And it doesn’t matter what I think, an oath is an oath.
