Chapter 1869
"What?" Adie stared at her helplessly, not knowing how to console her.
Although he mostly only had one parent around growing up, he had been raised with plenty of love, so he couldn't put himself in
Tiffany's shoes.
"Don't be sad.
If your mommy doesn't love you, you don't have to love her either." Adie couldn't understand Tiffany's sadness, but he tried his
best to comfort her.
"My mommy told me that we should only love people who love us, and we should only cry for people who love us too.
She also said we shouldn't be affected by those who don't love us." "My mommy loved me very much back then..." Tiffany wiped
away her tears, her lips quivering.
"But now she's having a baby, so she loves her own child more.
Why do people change? Why can't she love me forever?" "Love won't change.
If it changes, it means that she never truly loved you in the first place," Adie said bluntly.
He and Tiffany both treasured their relationships with others, but the difference between them was that Adie refused to waste his
feelings on people he felt didn't deserve them.
He was the perfect combination of Renee and Stefan.
"You're right!" Tiffany took a deep breath, suddenly enlightened.
" If she doesn't like me, I don't like her either.
I have a daddy who loves me, and that's enough for me." It was time to stop being sad about something she would never get
back.
"Let's keep playing!" Tiffany put her hand behind her back and said to Adie.
"Sure." Adie nodded.
Simple games like this tended to bore him, but he kept on playing because Tiffany clearly enjoyed it.
"I'd like to know what other secrets you have." "Well, let's see if you can beat me then!" Tiffany smirked, her gaze challenging.
Both of them were so engrossed in the game that they had no idea someone was quietly approaching them.
Finally, Adie noticed something was wrong.
"Tiffany, did you notice another shadow in this cave?" Adie swallowed and whispered to Tiffany.
"Yeah...
I did." Tiffany nodded slowly, too scared to move.
Adie stood in front of Tiffany protectively and shouted, "Who are you? Show yourself!" A young woman gracefully stepped out of
the shadows, and Tiffany's eyes widened in surprise.
"Mommy? What are you doing here? Did you come here for my graduation ceremony?" "That's your mommy? She looks weird!"
Adie stared at the woman suspiciously, his instincts telling him that she was a bad person who wanted to harm Tiffany.
"Kid, this is between Tiffany and I, so don't meddle in it.
Your daddy and mommy are probably looking for you, so go back to them!"' The woman sneered, trying to chase Adie off.
"No way!" Adie shook his head righteously like a knight protecting his princess.
"Tiffany is my friend, and I'll stay with her no matter what." "What? You want to save the damsel in distress?" The woman's smile
grew colder.
"Then, you can go to hell with her!"
