Chapter Needful, though shocking, developments.
Strange things were happening to her; to her mind; to her body.
He was coming alive beneath her in a way she knew about, but she could not move. She didn’t want to move. This was a moment of learning, and to hell with being scared or cautious.
She still could not avoid thinking about Liam, sensing that she was betraying him.
His hands were resting upon her waist, then moved steadily up to her breasts to hold them.
Why did she not fight that, and object?
She turned her head to kiss him, feeling her kisses returned.
To hell with those blasted vows! They were in the way.
She was in another world. With him. They were swimming together in weightlessness, their minds caressing each other.
So, what did it matter if he was waking up and breaking consciousness?
She did not want this to stop; wanted it to continue. She had thought about this very thing often enough in the last few days.
Her body settled lower onto him, her legs moving farther apart as she got closer to him, sliding farther down his body.
She felt something else happening to her, down there. There was a tightness developing; a feeling of being stretched tight, as something began to move into her body. She knew what was happening.
It was obvious what it must be; yet there was not room enough in her body for all of that. Not for all of it! Surely not for all of it.... But maybe for some of it. If she controlled it.
She relaxed, feeling a steady but slow progression of something very large moving into her.
There was no pain, just this immense tightness growing within her, as her vaginal sphincter clamped tight around him, holding him back, while not holding him back at all. There would be no slowing this, or stopping it; this very large item advancing slowly into her body; her, sliding down upon him, as he, in turn rose slowly up into hers.
She was in his mind by then, sensing what he sensed, excited by it, and he was in her mind knowing what she wanted and was thinking, calming her, helping her overcome any discomfort.
How could this be? She did not even know his name, though there was this closer, physical linkage. Soon their bodies and minds would be in the same small space.
That, would be enough. He was opening her up mentally as well as physically. He was sliding into her more steadily now, and the initial discomfort had reduced as he helped her, mentally, and with his touch, to relax. The tightness was easing as she slipped farther onto him, lubricated now by him, and by herself, easing his passage into her body, and she was relaxing more than she ever could have believed possible with such in invasion.
Her life had just changed, yet again.
She was becoming breathless. They both were that way, and both of them were beginning to move together in an agitated and more forceful way with what they were sharing and doing together.
Water sloshed around with their movements as they gasped and groaned together, fighting for air.
He stiffened with a low cry, as he pushed, then froze, taking her by surprise as he drove even farther into her in a forceful way. She felt that!
She had taken all of him? All of that? It felt like it, but it was not as painful as she had thought it might be. It felt as though he had nothing more to give her.
She reached behind herself and down to check. She felt nothing of his stem, finding only his testicles tight up against her.
She knew she had taken all of it then; disbelievingly, yet it had happened, and she marveled at it. She had not cried out.
She was already very full of him, but there was even more to deal with now. He was sending something else into her in another way. She could feel the pressure as fluids spurted out of him and into her, in a never ending kind of way.
She thought she knew what had happened at the last. He had ejaculated into her. She was now full of his sperm; living sperm, all of them frantically working their way deeper into her body to achieve that ultimate goal… to find an ovum from her.
They laid like that for several minutes, neither of them moving, but both, breathless.
She felt other things happening in her body that it was surely too early to know about, sensing a battle going on within her; a fight to be the first to get to that final goal.
Then she felt it. One of them had just breached that wall of an egg.
How could she know that?
‘Better if you do not move just yet. I hope I am not hurting you, little one. I know it must have been a shock for you, but it was what we both intended to happen. It was the best way to complete my claim to you.’
His eyes were closed, yet his mind seemed to be working clearly enough, as was the rest of his body. She wondered just how conscious he was, but decided not to go there. There were some things it was better not to know at just this moment.
‘You are not hurting me.’
‘Good. Then we can continue this. The food smells good but it is still some time away.’
He adjusted both of their positions; careful not to leave her.
‘You will stay with me tonight as you usually do, but not in that chair. In my bed with me, and we will continue this until morning.’
It was also what she intended.
‘Those others; the would-be invaders, are getting closer to the city. They should be here tomorrow.’
He thought about that as he ran his fingers through her short hair and kissed her, holding her breast with his other hand, as he began to come alive once more.
’Although I can delay them for another day or two, and I should delay them. I would far prefer to continue this with you, now that we have truly discovered each other.′
There was someone standing beside them both; Barbara; smiling at her, observing them. Monique did not mind.
“You succeeded. You got into his mind, my dear, or that would not have happened quite that easily. You no longer need any of my help. He has now claimed you in reality, not just symbolically. He will be alright, and will soon recover. Another day or so.”
“But I still don’t know his name.”
Barbara corrected her.
“You do know it. You were mumbling it as you coupled like that. You have known it all along. Look at his lower arm. You can decipher that tattoo, now that your minds have met and blended.”
... along with other things that had blended together.
Monique looked. She could read it clearly.
“Liam! Liam?”
“Yes, this one is, Liam. You and he have never been very far apart once you made that first mental linkage.”
Thank god there were not two men to confuse her anymore, but only one. Liam.
“He brought all of this about.”
Monique was able to detect changes occurring already within her body, and it was not just Liam’s presence causing that. There was another life beginning to form there. A girl. How could she sense that already? Surely, that was not possible to know that so soon. Her colleagues in other rooms, were feeling the same things; had just gone through the same process of discovery, and intimacy, and were also sensing similar things. Ten of them felled at the same moment in time.
She wanted to laugh. This is what these Thorians had intended for them all along; grooming them for this for over a year, and for much more to follow it.
However, if it were true that the ten of them were pregnant with girls, then it seemed that one peculiarity of City life still applied… nearly all of the conceptions in the city were females, whereas outside of the city… she had learned… most of the conceptions were males.
The implications were interesting.
Barbara would have to think about that, later. There was something new to learn all of the time.
Liam was already thinking about that. There were changes being made to many plans at this moment.
The insurgence was being changed even before it had properly begun.
Barbara put those thoughts into words.
“When those Thorians set their minds on something, all we women can do is to stand back and watch. This; the start of this, was decided upon almost four years ago when Stoker first came here to you. It took another turn when he started to train you. However, once one of these insurrections begins, nothing ever goes quite as planned.
“You are now a Thorian, my dear. Liam will keep other Thorians out; from overwhelming your mind with their welcoming thoughts. He will slowly let them in to greet you.
“You now know what to do. You and your fellow warriors will be the ones who will deal with this insurgency, but those others are still at least a full day away; or even longer if Liam has anything to do with it.” She chuckled.
“They cannot know what they are walking into. I am not sure any of us do, with Liam, when he is in this kind of mood.”
