The Supreme Harvey York

Chapter 5926

Chapter 5926
Hannah narrowed her eyes for a moment.
“It’s not that simple now, is it?”
“What a pain it is to talk to someone smart...” Amos chuckled. ” If I remember correctly, your family has a live-in husband called
Harvey York, right?”
Hannah’s eyes lit up.
“There is someone with that name, yes. Mandy has probably divorced him by now. He has nothing to do with the family
anymore.”
“Is that so?”
Amos chuckled.
“My subordinate told me that when he tried to show his love to Mandy, Harvey popped out, calling Mandy his woman and all that.
“With an arranged marriage between our families, we’d be able to deepen our relationship.
“What a shame...”
Hannah looked at Amos with a profound gaze.
“I don’t know how truthful you actually are, Young Master... But
I don’t have the right to decide a partner for a branch head. At least, not right now.”
“No matter.”
Amos smiled.
“My subordinate’s marriage is none of my concern.
“Besides, I should at least wait for your rise to power before that, right?
“How about this? Why don’t you tell me what’s so special about Harvey for Mandy to be interested in him in the first place?

“If you do, I’ll tell my subordinate off from trying to get with someone way out of his league!”
Hannah looked deep into Amos’s eye, and cocked her head. “I don’t know much about him...”
Half an hour later, Amos left the base before getting inside his car. The car slowly drove off to the highway.
When the base was completely hidden by the sand, Elaine poured a cup of Black Tea and handed it to Amos with a smile.
“Did Hannah do everything you asked? Did she tell you all about Harvey?”
She crossed her legs together. No man could resist caressing her fair and smooth skin, but Amos didn’t even take a single
glance.
“No. Not only that, something feels odd.
“I took control of the negotiation. She should’ve agreed to work with me already...
“But for some reason, something changed in her as soon as I mentioned Harvey’s name. It’s as if she’s scared of him...”
Amos narrowed his eyes.
Aside from the fact that Hannah wasn’t that afraid of the Smalt Sect, it was enough to prove that Harvey’s identity, background,
strength, and many other things were beyond his expectations.
If that wasn’t the case, a sly fox like Hannah wouldn’t refuse something like the Honey Pill so adamantly.
“It’s only normal. The representative of the top ten families’ interests shouldn’t be easy to deal with, anyway.”
Elaine sighed.
“Maybe we can work with Evermore. Lord Roue’s already contacted us three times...”
“Evermore...”
Amos squinted in a direction far away before letting out a sigh.
“We’d be asking for the impossible by now...”
