The Return

Theo/Gage's POV

"W-What?" Izzy stuttered out, looking back at us then back to them. We stand there, shocked at the allegations.

"No we didn't!" We yell at them, we then turn to Izzy, seeing a horrified expression on her face.

"Izzy, please listen to us-"

"Us?"

"They made my human, Theo, and me switch places. So instead of him controlling everything I have. Please Izzy, we did not kill your parents-"

"Oh Theo, stop lying. Maybe you just don't remember. I believe it was Spring time, and we were well into your training..."

Flashback

"Do you smell anyone boy?" He asked us as we quietly walked around the field, listening to everything around us. We shake our head for no, having found nothing yet. We receive a hard bash to the back, making us fall to our knees.

"Hurry up, I'm hungry!" He yells then bashes us again. We whimper in slight pain but ignore it and stand up, keeping up our search. We knew she was watching from a distance, we could smell her.

We knew that we were on another packs land, but she had some of her friends make something to let us hide our scent. We knew that this was also another test, seeing if we were ready to go kill our family.

As we walk past a bush our head suddenly snaps to the side at the sound of a twig snapping. We take in a deep breathe, smelling two victims. He seems to notice and also takes in a big wiff. He doesn't smell anything but still lets us lead the way.

We begin to approach the prey, getting a stronger scent.

"Beta's." We state and climb up a tree. He follows closely behind us, but says nothing. Once at the top we spot them. A male and female. We knew that he would take the female and her the male. We don't attack instantly, but wait for the perfect chance. Once we had smelt them, we were gone. The monster was released and there was no getting him back to normal until blood was spilt. As we watched the couple we instantly knew that they were mates. They looked so happy, just enjoying they're stroll, not caring what's going on around them. We knew it was time when he smacked us over the head. We growled lowly but began out descent.

As we reached the ground we began to stalk them, going for the male first. Betas were incredibly strong, but we were an Alpha. As we came nearer they immediately stopped. They must have smelt us. Just as the man turned to face us, we attacked. We heard the woman scream as we jumped on him and broke his legs. He howled in pain but we covered his mouth with a cloth.

When we knew he was subdued we turned our attention to the woman. What we didn't expect was when she tackled us in her wolf form. Pathetic, we thought and jumped up. She came barraling towards us again, ready to go for the jugular. We side stepped her and as she past us we brought our elbow down on her spine. She whimpered in pain and shifted back into her human form. They both crawled towards each other, tears running down their face.

They came up behind me and watched their meal, enjoying the couple's pain. Then they attacked-

"We don't remember any of this! Plus it's seems like you killed them! We never-"

"If you had not followed their scent they would have still been alive. Izzy would still have her parents. So it is your fault boy!" He yelled, while growling at us. We turned to Izzy ready to explain ourselves but we were met with a slap across the face. We ignored the sting and turned to look at her.

"Y-You killed them! It's all your fault! You're the reason my pack started to hate me! Why my mate rejected me! I could have been happy and in love with Beau if it weren't for you!It's all your fault!" She screamed in our faces. And then she said the worst thing she could ever say to us.

"I hate you." She then ran, leaving us there.

She hates us.

She hates us!

We're monsters!

"I'm going to kill you!" We yell and turn to face them but stop when she mutters words we don't understand. We suddenly feel a cloud over our heads, making us whimper in pain. We growl and try to shake it out. We suddenly shift and continue to whimper from the pain of the cloud.

"Now, now Theo. The only killing you'll be doing tonight is with your family. Now go, complete your mission." We suddenly stood up and howled, running away from them. We could only see red, needing to feel the power after a kill.

"Gage, stop this! You don't know what you're doing!"

I yell out to him, trying to make him fight it. He only snarls at me and proceeds to run faster. As we run we can hear people counting down. It's a few seconds from Callies birthday. We then hear the voice of Izzy. We can hear her from where we are. She's speaking to mother. We increase our pace, wanting a surprise attack.

Just as we run out the woods everyone begins to cheer, congratulating Callie. We head straight for our main target. Mom.

We see her in our site but so has she. And from the way she's glaring at us, she knows what our intentions are. We snarl and that seems to catch everyone's attention. They all look over at us and back away slowly. As we approach mother slowly we can see the fear and shock in everyone's eyes. Though not Izzy. Izzy's eyes are filled with one thing.

Pain.

We whimper in our heads, trying to stop our body. Even Gage suddenly tries to make the effort of stopping. We stop walking and whimper at the pain in our head. We try to over power it but can't and stand back up straight. Mother approaches us calmly, not showing any sign of fear. She then winks at us, making us snarl at her challenge.

We rush towards her, ready to snap her neck and just as we're about to reach her, we suddenly freeze in the air. She used her levitation, we think, only realising it now.

We try to move but can't.

She walks past us and makes her way to the dungeons. We already knew that was her plan. As we float away from everyone we finally turn back to our normal selves. We see no more red, instead, all we see is hate in the eyes of the people we love. As we past everyone we don't see Callie.

Where could she be?
