Chapter 420 Intervention
"I'll call you back when I'm done," Frey said, trying to keep her voice steady.
"Send me your location!" Nathaniel's voice was tight and urgent.
Frey was stunned. They were continents apart—she in Pontenero and he in Saeville.
She couldn't understand why Nathaniel wanted her to send him her location
Did he mean he was already in Pontenero?
"Location!" Nathaniel's impatience was evident.
Her breath caught in her throat. "Okay," she whispered, sending her location to him.
Less than half an hour later, Nathaniel and a group of people arrived at the store. Even in Porejimo, his tall frame and commanding presence stood out.
Wearing a long dark gray windbreaker, he opened the store door and entered, his cold and solemn face immediately finding Frey.
She offered a guilty smile, but Nathaniel avoided her gaze, his displeasure clear. He was still frustrated about her recent interactions with Sawyer.
"What's going on?" he asked, standing beside Frey.
The two staff stared at him in disbelief, realizing they were in serious trouble.
The male staff, trembling from the cold intensity of Nathaniel's gaze, approached cautiously.
"Sir, this lady took a perfume from our store without paying for it. It was worth seven thousand Neros. The matter will be resolved after she pays up."
Nathaniel's face darkened as he glanced at the messy bag on the table, its contents spilled out. He recognized the bag-it was Frey's.
He bought many luxury bags for Frey back then. However, she wouldn't carry them.
Although she designed luxury goods, she didn't pay any mind to them.
She had always been casual and didn't like to compare her wealth with social elites in Saeville.
The bag was given to Frey by Peyton when she was just released from prison.theld sentimental value to her, as she carried it with her all the time and always been reluctant to change it.
When she felt helpless, Peyton was the one who devoted all her warmth to her, so she could survive that winter.
The straps of the bag had been torn at the time. It was obvious that the staff who did this.

The staff were dumbfounded. This elegantly dressed man claimed the Frey, who was plainly dressed as his wife.
The male staff, panicked and speechless, looked to the female staff for help as she had started the whole incident.
Nathaniel noticed the female staff's mocking expression and immediately understood the situation. She had treated his wife as a pauper.
"Who is the owner of your store?" Nathaniel demanded, his voice icy.
The staff, too frightened to respond, remained silent.
Koen entered the store, found a phone number on a card at the cashier, and dialed it.
After a brief exchange in Pontenese, he handed the phone to Nathaniel.
Nathaniel spoke fluently, "How much will it cost to buy your store?"
"Are you crazy? Who are you?" came the astonished reply.
Ignoring the question, Nathaniel continued calmly, "I read about a mansion sold on Stardust Avenue
for 613 million Neros recently. 4'll pay you 700 million Neros for this store."
