Chapter 4 Equality
Violet's voice has attracted everyone's attention in the lobby, and everyone looked towards Casey.
Violet walked towards him, and held her hands on her hips, demanding, "Aren't you ashamed to put dirt on our floors? I could point to anything in this room, and it will be something you could never afford in your life, if it gets dirty, what are you gonna do?"
Casey frowned, and asked coldly, "Why, aren't people allowed to come in and take a look around?"
"Do you think just because others are allowed to, so you can as well? Don't forget who you are, useless person, you are lucky that I am still talking to you patiently." Violet threw at him.
Casey pressed his lips together, he usually didn't bother to talk to people like Violet, especially now that he was TY's president. If Violet behaved this way to customers, it will definitely have an effect on his business, he couldn't afford to keep her."
"If this is your attitude towards customers, I am afraid you won't be able to keep your job anymore." Casey spoke to her in a cold manner.
Violet looked at him full of despise, and started laughing after she heard his words.
"Oh my, come over everyone, look at this fucker telling me that my attitude is not right, and he's even saying I might lose my job, this is too funny!"
Everyone came to surround them, most of them were Violet's colleagues, because most of them just started their job, so there weren't many people coming to look at the houses.
"Let me tell you guys, this is the idiot that is famous in all of J City, Casey Davies, he is the one who was with the Patel's, you know he was only cooking and washing laundry all day every day, just like a servant, and you know what, he was my high school classmate! So shameful, I don't even wanna mention it!"
When the crowd heard what Violet just said, all of them started to look and point at Casey, they have all heard about Casey before, and they all knew that he was a useless dumb person.
"Oh, so this guy is Casey Davies, I was wondering why he looked so cheap, you know if you didn't mention, I thought he was here to pick up trash."
"Look at this guy, and now he is here to disturb Violet at work, she is going to be promoted next week, who are you to say that she will lose her job?"
"I really think we need to get rid of him. Today our new president will take over, imagine if he runs into him, that's gonna be a lot of trouble."
Everyone nodded along, they all heard their manager talk about today's event yesterday.
Violet stared at Casey, she really wanted to see her colleagues go on mocking him, to feel that she stood above him, she felt that it was already a good achievement to work in the position that she was working at now, at the YT's company.
And if she compared herself with a snob like Casey, she felt even more superior
She was even daydreaming about the new president of the company seeing her and falling in love with her at first sight, this way, she would achieve all of her goals in just one day.
But she was also afraid that the president will see someone like Casey, which will really embarrass her, so she told Casey, "Did you hear that, our president is coming today, stop standing there, you are going to affect his mood, I don't think you wanna be responsible for that."
She stepped closer to Casey and pulled on his shirt, trying to get him out.
Casey on the other hand didn't move an inch, he only stared at her with his cold eyes.
"What is it? Are you deaf? I asked you to leave!" Now Violet was getting anxious.
"This is my company, why should I leave?" Casey said.
"You are mad, I think you really are mad, how can you say this is your company, why don't you just say that you are the heir of some super rich family? Stop dreaming Casey, you are nothing, just get the hell out of here!" Violet stared at him as if he was crazy.
"I am not dreaming, you will know in a minute." Casey said very calm.
Violet couldn't move Casey by herself, and she was getting more anxious, afraid that the president will see him here, so she went to call for guards.
"This guy, he came to our building and now he is acting up, he even pretends to be our boss, please just get him out!" Violet pointed at Casey and told the guards angrily.
The guards looked at Casey and thought that he didn't look like a boss, so they walked towards him, and grabbed him.
Casey looked back at the guards, and squinted his eyes, then he clenched his fists.
That's the moment when Aryan came out of the toilet, he saw the guards about to throw themselves on Casey, and was shocked.
He ran towards the crowd, and yelled, "Oh my god, what are you guys doing! Stop it right now!"
Violet saw their manager coming, and said to him, "Aryan, this is that guy, he is known all over J City for being stupid and useless, and now he went totally nuts, and tells us he was our boss. Today is the day for our new president to visit, we are afraid he might embarrass the president, so we want him to leave."
"He is my high school classmate, and he is jealous because I am living a better life than him now, he doesn't feel good about it and wants to ruin our day! It's good I saw him, otherwise god only knows what could have happened!" Violet said, still thinking she had the upper hand.
After Aryan heard what Violet had to tell him, his face went pale he didn't think twice before raising his hand to slap her on the cheek.
"This is our new president, he came to look at your work, and you are saying that he was nuts! You wanted to kick him out! Do you still want your job?" Aryan said angrily.
Violet's eyes went blank, just like every one else who was present.
"He... he is our new president? But how can this be? He is nothing!" Violet was perplex.
"You are nothing! You are dumb and stupid!" Aryan was so angry, he wished he could tape her mouth shut.
He quickly turned around and bowed towards Casey, "Sir, I am so sorry, I never thought they would treat you like this, this is all my fault, please sanction me for it."
Casey waved him off, and looked at Violet, "You are not to be sanctioned, but those who are too overly confident."
"Out company should treat clients like equals, anyone who looks down on them like she just did, doesn't deserve to keep working for us."
