The Mage of Eternity

Chapter 69 - 69 Do You Understand?

69 Do You Understand?
A gentle breeze blew past.

An Kai’s white bone fingers were exposed five times.

Every time, the orc under his feet happened to see it.

He calculated that if the Stage 2 Rank 7 orc under his feet had a way to transmit information, it should have been done.

He decided not to hesitate.

He exerted force under his feet.

The orc’s head shattered like fireworks.

He put the bone finger back into his storage ring.

He waved his hand, and the [Guardian Tree Demon] on the top of the sand dune ran over like a pug, shaking its crown.

Without needing any further instructions from An Kai, it plunged into the orc gathering place that was filled with scorching heat.

When it appeared again, its body was covered in burn marks, and the crown of the tree was emitting a burning smell.

However, in the deepest part of the tree, there were some magic nuclei and orc tags that the [Tree Guard] had obtained from the orc gathering place.

Class 1 Magic Cores (Level 1→ Level 10), a total of 31.

Class 2 Monster Cores (Level 11→ Level 20), 12.

Adding on An Kai’s storage, there were currently 232 Class 2 Monster Cores.

Originally, he had obtained a total of 300 Class 2 Monster Cores in a year.

However, because he had used up all the Class 1 Monster Cores, he could only use Class 2 Monster Cores to activate the [Beast Meat Refining Platform]. Thus, after a year, he only had 220 Class 2 Monster Cores left.

An Kai was not in a hurry to exchange for skill points. After a year and a half of seclusion, he still had 101 skill points left.

It was not completely consumed.

His five spells had all been upgraded to the highest level.

This was also the first time An Kai still had some resources left after coming out of seclusion.

Unfortunately, this orc gathering place was a little poor.

However, 31 Class 1 Monster Cores was still not bad.

This could support him to use the [Beast Meat Refining Platform] for nearly two months.

Using a Class 2 Monster Core to activate the [Beast Meat Refining Platform] gave him the feeling that he was wronged.

Apart from these, there were also the orc nameplates.

An Kai counted. There were a total of 36.

If he could find an opportunity to get them to the Rewards Building, it would be a good income.

He looked at the tree crown of the [Guardian Tree Demon] that was emitting a charred wood aura.

An Kai was rather disgusted.

With a thought, a chair was formed with Frost, and An Kai inserted it into the crown of the [Guardian Tree Demon] that lowered its head.

Then, he sat on it and walked towards the next gathering place of the orcs.

.

A day later.

An Kai wasn’t in a hurry to make a move when he was 500 meters away from an orc gathering place.

He was waiting for the side quest to refresh.
Five minutes later, the side quest refreshed.

An Kai quickly found the [Desert Orc] side quest.

Unfortunately, there was no news he wanted to see.

In the storyline, the 28th Orc Prince killed his 368th human with the help of 5 Stage 4 Guardians.

There was still two-thirds of the progress left to his training target.

“Dog, you’re so afraid of death. Why are you pretending to be a big wolf in the desert?”

An Kai cursed and jumped down from the tree.

With the [Brute Force Staff] in his hand, the 2.5-meter long [Magic Armor] armour floated on the surface, and he quickly rushed towards the orc gathering place 500 meters away.

As he ran,[Fireball] attacked the orc gathering place not far away.

An Kai was like a high-speed moving cannon, launching fierce attacks without tiredness.

Even if you were lucky enough to escape from the initial firepower, you would think that you would be able to win by getting close to him. However, you would suddenly realize that your attacks were useless against him.

However, his attacks, especially that huge iron staff, would kill you if you were hit.

Even though An Kai’s techniques were crude, he was strong and had a strong defence.

Even though he was trapped in the orc crowd, he didn’t panic at all.

There were even Orcs who broke down and wanted to escape. He would even thoughtfully cut them with a sword that was transformed from [Fireball] or [Frost].

.

Half an hour later.

An Kai stepped on the orc, revealing a white bone from his sleeve.

After revealing it “inadvertently” six times, An Kai snorted coldly. “Do you have the strength to fight with my chaos city?!”

He exerted force under his feet, and the orc’s head exploded into fireworks with grief and indignation.

He waved his hand, and the [Guardian Tree Demon] ran over again.

Then, it plunged into the orc gathering place that was filled with the smell of blood, heat, and some freezing auras.

About 20 minutes later, the [Guardian Tree Demon] returned.

It poured out the things that it had been carefully keeping in the crown of the tree.

“Well done.” An Kai praised. He placed his hand on the body of the [Guardian Tree Demon], and with a thought, he released the Frost spell.

In an instant, the [Guardian Tree Demon] was frozen into a huge block of ice.

An Kai found the right position and aimed the bottom of the [Brute Force Staff]. He struck out with the staff, creating a hole.

He was a little disappointed. There were no magic cores inside.

Then, he controlled the [Freeze] that froze the [Guardian Tree Demon] and shattered it.

They turned into palm-sized ice cubes.

At this point,[Guardian Tree Demon], who had accompanied An Kai for almost two days, died painlessly.

An Kai used his [Brute Force Staff] to create a deep pit and buried the frozen [Guardian Tree Demon].

Then, he activated [Summon] again and summoned a [Guardian Tree Demon] whose crown did not have the smell of burning wood.

Sitting on the treetop, An Kai headed to the next gathering place of the orcs.

Along the way, An Kai felt that these orcs were really poor. There were only 12 Class 1 Magic Cores and 31 orcs nameplates.

He guessed that the higher-ups of the orcs had just cleaned them up.

.

In the desert, there was a large oasis that occupied nearly ten thousand mu of land.

This place was about 10 days away from Chaos City.

This was also the command centre of the Orc army in the desert.

The twenty-eighth prince of the orc kingdom, who was training, was currently sitting in the largest triangular palace in the oasis!

There were four Stage 4 Orcs guarding the door.

Inside the palace, the twenty-eighth prince also had five Stage 4 guards by his side.

Moreover, within this palace, there were two auras that were stronger than Stage 4.

The Twenty-eighth Prince was sitting on a chair embedded with a high-level magic core.

He looked impatiently at the commander of the desert orcs below him.

“Did you do what I asked you to do?”

“Prince. There’s an unknown force attacking our clansmen in the desert. I don’t think we should withdraw our Stage 4 guards at this critical moment.”

Hearing this, the Twenty-eighth Prince slammed the table made of gold coins in front of him and stood up angrily.

“Trash! Is my safety less important than the safety of those filthy ants?!”

“Your Highness, no.”

“Can you do it or not? If you can’t, then get lost. I have plenty of people here who are willing to be the commander-in-chief of this desert!”

“I… I understand.”contemporary romance

The nominal commander of the Orc Desert finally sighed and left. The twenty-eighth prince sat down again, a little annoyed.

As soon as the Orc commander left, a three-meter-tall Orc carrying a blood-covered sabre suddenly appeared. He took a step forward and stood in front of the 28th Prince.

“Why are you doing this?”

Facing the Orc’s question, the 28th Prince didn’t panic and chuckled.

“Our goal has never been to defeat or conquer others, but to take root here!

“With someone helping us now, why not seize this opportunity? If it weren’t for this unknown power, I would have sent people to attack the gathering place of our clansmen in the desert.

“Saber general, do you think it’s important to find out if the culprit is the people from the Undead Town or the Primal Chaos City?

“If they want to kill our clansmen, then let them do it. The more they kill, the better. That way, the death of our clansmen can be our best excuse.

“Therefore, it doesn’t matter who did it. My safety is the most important thing. Who knows if these idiots will suddenly go crazy and target me?

“Furthermore, I’m sure that it’s Chaos City that has been attacking us!”

At this point, the 28th Prince suddenly stood up and looked straight at the Stage 5 Orc powerhouse, Saber General, and said coldly,” Do you understand?”
