Chapter 28
Hannah invited Nathan out with an excuse, which made Nathan think that Natalie was really in trouble again.
"Actually, it's nothing, I just want to chat with you, can't I?" Hannah asked.
"It's really boring," Nathan thought for a while and spoke.
Hannah became angry hearing this.
I'm gorgeous! I took the initiative to ask you out! How can you be so ungrateful?
Hannah's height was about 5.5 feet. Though she was not a great beauty, she was a sweet girl, with a good disposition and good looks. Nathan's words made her contempt!
After Nathan finished saying these words, he was about to leave, and Hannah became anxious.
"Hey, what do you mean? Are you looking down on me?" Hannah grabbed him and pushed him into the car.
"I'm very busy," Nathan said.
"I want to talk about Luke with you!" Hannah said.
Nathan frowned, but let Hannah push him into the BMW, and then she drove to a bar. That bar wasn't very big, but it was a high-end place where they could buy any alcohol
After finding a booth and sitting down, Hannah ordered a few bottles of wine, and said, "Did you take care of the Johnson Group's loan?"
Nathan nodded but did not speak.
Hannah frowned and said, "Why don't you tell them after you do that? Are you an idiot!"
Nathan said, "Uncle Hector has been very kind to me. It's not a big deal to help the Johnson family and Natalie to do that."
Hannah grinned, pointed at Nathan's nose, and said, "If you do that, you and Natalie won't get together. You are pushing her into Luke's arms!"
"I won't force her to be with me. I believe in fate." Nathan was indifferent.
He then poured a glass of wine for himself and took a slow sip.
Hannah was quite sure that Nathan was too honest and frank.
She shook her head, and said, "The credit for helping the Johnson Group get the loan is all attributed to Luke. Natalie also called Luke and expressed her gratitude to him. If it goes on like that, I think she will cheat on you!"
When Nathan heard that he couldn't help frowning and thought, "How could I be compared with Luke that sh*t?"
"It doesn't matter that I do things for the Johnson family without being known by them, but the credit is given to others, which makes me feel a little annoyed."
Nathan was in a bad mood at that moment. If he was in prison, he could just catch two prisoners and vent his anger on them. But at that time, he had no way to vent his anger.
"I mentioned to Natalie that you may have done that, but she doesn't believe it. You helped me on the matter of the Roberts. Group, but I couldn't repay you. It's a pity." Hannah shrugged, she raised her glass and drank with him.
When she said that, she couldn't help feeling a little guilty.
At that time, Brinn who was drinking on the second floor saw the familiar figure in the booth downstairs, and his brows could not help but rise.
"I didn't expect that guy to be a sc*mbag?" Brinn sneered and was very disdainful.
Natasha who was sitting opposite Brinn asked, "What's wrong?"
Brinn pointed at Nathan who was sitting downstairs and said, "See, that is Miss's former fiancé, Nathan."
Natasha opened her eyes and said, "He is Nathan? I don't think there is anything special about him. He is not worthy of Jade."
Brinn shook his head and thought, "Nathan has nothing special at all but displays his temper more, and I have no interest in talking with him."
Nathan didn't know that someone upstairs noticed him, he took a glass of wine and had a drink with Hannah, and thanked her.
No matter what purpose Hannah approached me for since she helped me speak in front of Natalie, she was worthy of gratitude.
"Huh? Hannah, why are you drinking with that b*stard?" Mr. Mandy, who was in the sports club that day, said.
Nathan didn't pay attention to his words. He was drinking wine and didn't even glance at him.
Hannah smiled and said, "Mr. Mandy, Nathan is quite a good person. Don't talk nonsense. How about you have a drink with us together?"
Mr. Mandy sneered, shook his head, and said, "You are not afraid to lower your identity while sitting with that kind of trash together. I don't want to drink with that kind of garbage! Otherwise, I am afraid that the person who drinks with me now would also be uncomfortable."
At that time, an enchanting young woman in a long red dress came up with red lips. She seemed very extroverted.
"How are you, Ms. Alexandra!"
After Mandy saw that woman, his face changed, and he spoke.
"Hello, Ms. Alexandra!" Hannah also stood up with a smile on her face and greeted her.
Even Nathan, who was reluctant, was also pulled up by Hannah.
Ms. Alexandra was the owner of that bar.
She nodded and said, "Have fun, everyone!"
Almost all the guests in the bar would stand up to toast her wherever she went. No matter how noble they were, Alexandra just took a sip, but no one felt dissatisfied.
After greeting them for a while, Alexandra left the hall, and no one knew where she went.
"Why is Ms. Alexandra in the bar today? She has always been mysterious," Mandy said, and he was in awe of Alexandra.
"I don't know either, but I didn't expect to have the opportunity to see Ms. Alexandra!" Hannah's tone couldn't help but be a little excited.
Mandy breathed a sigh of relief, glared at Nathan, and said, "Hillbilly, someone is on top of this bar. Don't cause any trouble here, and don't make a fool of yourself. Otherwise, no one can save you!"
"Nathan is not a troublemaker. Mr. Mandy, you should accompany your friends. We will leave after having two shots," Hannah waved her hand and spoke.
Mr. Mandy stretched out his fingers and pointed at Nathan. "Also, Natalie is not someone you can dream about, so you should give in as soon as possible! I will let you go because of Hannah, otherwise, I will beat you up and make you sleep on the street."
Nathan glanced at Mandy.
If that br*t dares to point at him again, I will smash his head on the table...
Mandy's luck was not bad. After pointing at Nathan, he turned around and went to the second floor.
Nathan stood up and said to Hannah, "I need to go to the bathroom."
"Are you planning to run away? Don't worry. I'll buy that drink!" Hannah said.
Nathan couldn't help turning around, pointed at himself, and said, "Do I really look like a country bumpkin, or like a poor guy?"
"D*mn, a financial oligarch from Nievic in our prison bribed me with hundreds of millions of checks before!"
When Hannah heard that, she couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"I'm f*cking serious!" Nathan couldn't help but turn sullen.
"Well, I believe you!" Hannah said.
Nathan nodded in satisfaction, and when he walked into the bathroom, Hannah couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"How can such a hillbilly know people like Gerard and Miller? It's strange..."
Hannah found that Nathan must be a big shot with a great background and great power, but it seemed that he was indeed a country bumpkin who hadn't seen much of the world.
