Chapter 1817
When it came to certain attributes, the Celestial Dew was actually superior to the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom!
On top of that, Frank was aware of the Celestial Dew because I was one of the main ingredients for making the divine pill.
And as each main ingredient was a millennial natural wonder, the quality alone was above question.
"Hehe. It seems that Mr. Lawrence is the most knowledgeable man in this room, just by being aware of this..."
Titus smiled as he took out a pure silver ring from his pocket with a tiny container fastened to it.
And the container held a thick sapphire-blue fluid, spiraling at the center of the container as if alive. It would also assume the form of various livestock as if alive!
"The Celestial Dew is the purest raindrop, refined along with various rare herbs and natural wonders across generations for over a thousand years. I'm sure everyone can understand how precious this droplet is, considering that it was refined into this amount from a full tank."
At Titus' explanation and with Mobius personally studying the ring Titus held, he mused to himself for a moment before slowly turning to Frank with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Mr. Lawrence..."
"It's alright," Frank replied, waving him off.
From his perspective, Mobius' disinterest in his Bloodcrane Spiritbloom was ideal.
This way, he did not have to worry about the treasure his mentor left him or see it being taken abroad.
Now, all he had to think about was getting that spiritron vein.
Still, Mobius then turned to Ms. Quill and asked, "Well then, what about you, Ms. Quill? What do you have to offer?"
As everyone turned toward the young woman who had not spoken for a while, she rolled her eyes and snorted in disdain.
"What are you looking at me for?" she snapped haughtily at Mobius. "I don't have any treasure that would match theirs, but don't you accept money?"
Mobius simply smiled and shook her head at her, leaving Ms. Quill pursing her lips.
"Then forget it."
She huffed, rising to her feet. "Bloodcrane Spiritbloom? Spiritron vein? Hah! Sounds mysterious, but they all look like fancy trinkets to me..."
Silverbell watched as the strange girl left before sighing in exasperation as she turned to Frank. "What are we going to do now? Are we just going to let the spiritron vein fall into the Lionhearts' hands?" FindNovel
"Patience," Frank said, still watching thoughtfully as Ms. Quill left. "It seems that things are getting more amusing than I'd expected... Come on, it's clear that this hotel is going to get busy tonight."
Silverbell stared at him quizzically-why was Frank suddenly speaking in riddles?
Still, Frank did not try to clear her confusion and instead led her out of the banquet hall, formally concluding the auction. Mobius turned to Titus and smiled. "Well, this spiritron vein is yours, Mr. Lionheart."
"Thank you."
And with the deal concluded after Frank and Silverbell's departure, both Mobius and Titus had acquired what they wanted.
In reality, every party in the auction was plotting-especially Mobius.
His smile faded after he escorted Titus away, a coldness showing in his eyes as he glared at Titus murderously.
As for Titus, once he and Azar Salor left the banquet hall, he immediately ordered, "Have every man of Clear Winds Pavilion lock down the hotel tonight. No one gets in or out!"
"Yes, Mr. Lionheart!"
Azar sneered savagely, as he naturally knew what Titus was up to.
This really was going to be a long, sleepless night.
