Chapter 32
Aurelia hummed in agreement. “Dad, I got it! You and Mom should take care of yourselves, too. I might need to go to the state several times, so I won’t be back to see you and Mom more often!”
Michael replied, “Okay!”
“Dad?” Aurelia asked.
Hearing Aurelia call him with hesitation, Michael immediately asked, “Auri, anything else?”
“No, it’s nothing. I want to tell you that if you are too tired of working as an official, you can consider retiring. Our family is not short of money anyway!”
Michael answered, “Okay, I got it. I will consider your suggestion, Angel!”
Hearing this, Aurelia knew Michael was still very much attached to being an official. She sighed secretly and stopped persuading him.
Fortunately, she had already done what she should do. Now, she was waiting to see Hayden’s capability.
After hanging up the phone, Aurelia suddenly realized that she would have no home to stay in if she did not return to her parents. It seemed it was time to buy a new house for herself and settle down quickly.
After thinking of getting a house, Aurelia could not help but drive her car to the new town area.
There was a house that she bought only after she and Marcellus divorced in her previous life. The house was not big, with an area of less than 540 square feet. It was barely a two–bedroom house.
However, whenever the house came to her mind now, many of her memories existed. Lots of laughter when facing others. and the feeling of bitterness and tears pouring when no one was looking. All of those could only be vented in that house.
The house carried her hardships, tears, bitterness, and struggles for so many years, as well as her hatred and hope.
There were also some memories of her with Scott.
When she did not cherish the things she had in the past, Aurelia felt nothing. When she was re–birthed again and remembered the young man, still protecting her in his arms until death, the corners of her eyes could not help but get wet
with tears.
Currently, Scott should be a university student. He probably had not graduated yet, and Aurelia did not know if he was doing well.
She remembered that Scott was an orphan. He had been studying hard, working his way through all the time, and receiving scholarships to continue his studies. Otherwise, Aurelia would not have known him in her previous life.
It was because her company needed some part–time salesmen, and Scott, still a student, needed a part–time job. With that, they got to know each other.
She just did not expect it would cause Scott to lose his young life.
Now that she was re–birthed back in the year 2006, she had not known Scott yet at this time. She wondered if the young man still had the same life as he had before.
Aurelia thought a lot. The more she thought about it, the more impulsive she became. She wanted to see Scout at Navarre University personally. Even if she would only take one look, it was still good to ensure he was fine. Yet, she still held back in
the end.
She did not want to hurt that innocent and sincere young man again, if possible. He was only 21 years old by now, with excellent academic performance. After graduation, he could pick a good house, then meet a gentle girl who was compatible with him to fall in love with and build a family together. That would be the best for him.

On the other hand, despite her rebirth, Aurelia could not change the fact that she was already a 26–year–old divorced woman who had been miscarried before.
Even if she already had him in her heart, she did not dare to get close to him again with her current condition. Not to mention that her life was just the beginning. She could not give Scott anything in her everyday life yet.
Aurelia thought, “Most importantly, even if I have extravagant hopes, what about Scott, who was only 21? Will he still fall in love with me as in the previous life?”
Aurelia was not confident at this point.
She was feeling very insecure. Therefore, after contemplating for a while, she did not want to think about it anymore, like an ostrich sticking its head into the ground. She was ready to go with the flow.
She told herself that if Scott were really her man, even if she did not take the initiative to find him, they would naturally meet again by fate.
If they really met that day, she would not think of letting go of him anymore.
The house she lived in her previous life had just been built in her present life.
Real estate was already significantly in demand in Navarre for the first half of 2006. Many wealthy ladies in Navarre even formed a group of real estate speculators to go to Bruiville, Druobridge, and other cities for speculation.
Then, the stock market became more popular from the second half of the year 2006 to the whole year of 2007. The real estate market fell into a stage of an insane rise in price.
In her previous life, when Aurelia bought the 540 square feet small suite, it was in 2007 when the stock market was at its peak. Therefore, the suite was quite expensive. The unit’s price was almost four times as high as when the sales had just started, and she even bought it second–handly from others with that price.
It was because when she was going to buy the unit, the houses of the estate had been sold out completely.
Returning to this place again, she found the real–estate sales center was still very new and had not turned into the high–class beauty salon as it did in her previous life.
As soon as the car stopped, there was a valet who almost stepped forward immediately to open the car door for her. This thoughtful service was learned from Norwal City and Xanfield, which made the customers feel honored.
Entering the real–estate sales center, a sweet–looking real estate sale representative immediately greeted Aurelia. She spoke in a common language with her sweet voice and bowed to welcome Aurelia. She then asked softly whether Aurelia needed coffee and what kind of house layout she wanted to search for.
The representative’s attitude was quite attentive, which showed that she wanted to sell the houses successfully very much.
It could be seen that the developers did not expect this residential area’s value to soar in less than half a year as it was built in the new urban area with a medium price and poor location.
To put it in another way, they had not received any internal news from Navarre Economic Office that the commercial center in Navarre would be focusing on developing new urban areas in the second half of this year. This was naturally a move decided by Yxes, who was newly appointed as a sheriff.
Aurelia did not know in her previous life because she had never cared about that information. However, after rebirth, Aurelia could predict everything clearly as if she had a cheating device that could be used safely.
“I want Unit 702, Building B!” Aurelia directly said the unit number.
The real estate sales representative was stunned for a moment and asked slowly, “Unit 702, Building B?”
Aurelia asked, “Is there any problem with that? Or is the house sold?”
If possible, Aurelia would not want the house she remembered so much in her previous life full of memories to become

someone else’s at this time. Yet, if it had been sold out, she would not persist in getting the house.
No, it’s not. The house is not sold yet. Miss, don’t you need to check the apartment type?”
In her long–time career working in this company, the real estate sales representative probably had never seen anyone who wanted to buy a house without checking it.
If she had not seen Aurelia coming here with a BMW and dressed well, she would have thought this woman was trying to mess with her.
