chapter 93: Not my fault, if you survive.
Vladimyr stood up from the spot she was hiding when she couldn't see any men standing, her brows met after seeing a number of dead bodies laying on the hallway's floor. She disappointedly analyzes the dead bodies of the men laying on the floor filled with their own bloods and a gun wound was seen on their head. Vladimyr thought that it was from Lisa's sniper team.
Vladimyr hurried to the target room but even before she could grasp the lock, a series of gunshots greeted her again from behind the door. She immediately jumped away from the door and hid on the side to avoid the raining bullets coming from the room.
"You really are annoying Dela Claire! You have the guts to hunt me in my own territory huh? I won't let you get away! We will destroy you first!" the woman furiously squealed from inside the room.
After hearing those rants of the woman inside the room, Vladimyr couldn't stop herself from chuckling, "Are you surprised, Mrs. Lutherford?" Vladimyr mockingly asks from her hiding place. "Or maybe you didn't expect me to be so brave to overthrow you in your own territory, hmm?"
"You are really an annoying woman! I will kill you!" The woman inside screams with rage.
"You've been planning that for a long time, haven't you? But here I am still standing and unscathed. Your brain is very dumb, Aliyah. You're just like a kitten in my eyes who acts brave because of your husband's influence. Get out of here and face me, if you're really courageous enough, hmm... Little kitten? " Vlad said, mocking the woman inside the room. She intentionally angered her to show itself to her.
"Get ready to face me!" Aliyah's angry growl from inside the room rumbled. Vladimyr heard the careful thump of her heel on the floor, indicating that she was approaching. Vladimyr's wicked grin plastered on her lips again as she held the knife that's dripping of blood and waited for Aliyah to get close to the door.
"How pitiable you are, Aliyah. You know what's the difference between the two of us, even though we're both females? That's because I use my brain and I'm not afraid of death unlike you." She stated confidently..
Vladimyr did not wait for Aliyah to finally get close to the door. Vladimyr kicked the door with all her might to forcibly open it then attacked the men with him inside using her two sharp knives. She smoothly swung her blades across the men, throwing their heads into the air in every swift action of the blade.
Aliyah was shocked and horrified by what she witnessed. She couldn't even blink her eyes. Her body shivered as she felt her blood wash out of her veins. In a flash, she had no companions left other than the corpses of her men lying on the floor, flooded by their own blood. Vladimyr acted very fast. Her moves are expertly calculated and certain. That made Aliyah's men couldn't even match Vladimy's moves and slaughter them all like nothing.
"Oh my god!" Aliyah shouted, horrified and trembling. She pointed her gun at Vladimyr as her hands shook intensely.
"I have no patience with cockroaches like you, Aliyah. You will pay for the murder you committed on my friends and the bosses of the Phoenix organization. " Vladimyr's face was dark and frigid. Gripping the bloody knives tight, she madly strode towards Aliyah who is now frightened by her tremendous dark aura.
She kicked Aliyah hard in the stomach and rained a series of solid slaps in the face. Her body hits the wall as she writhes in immeasurable pain caused by Vladimyr's bone crushing slaps. Aliyah grunted as her body violently collided with the wall and could barely stand gasping for breath.
"G-get ready for Van, V-vladimyr ... H-he won't forgive you for doing this to me."
"Ah, you still have the guts to speak?" Disappointed, Vladimyr shook. Vladimyr knew that Lutherford was only using Aliyah to enter Southland.
"Do you really think you are as important to Lutherford as you think, hmm?" She cooly mocked.
"W-what do you mean?"
"It's still not clear to you that he's using you to bring their bad business into my country." Vladimyr sighed.
"Well, it doesn't matter if you know or not..." a sweet smile flashed on Vladimyr's lips before, mercilessly buried the knife in Aliyah's chest until it sank right into the wall.
A deep breath escaped Aliyah's lips as she tried to hold back the groans.
"Y-you can't kill me Vladimyr ... I-I'm the daughter of the c-chairman of the Phoenix Organization. I-I'm the one who will take daddy's position ... " Aliyah stuttered as he tried to sound tough.
After hearing those words from Aliyah, Vladimyr's rage arose. She glared at the woman in front of her as her hand met the length of her neck, gripping it tighter until the woman struggled to breathe. Vladimyr's patience reached its peak. She can no longer think properly as she watches Aliyah almost die using her bare hand.
"Good thing I still have a little mercy left for someone like you, Aliyah." Vladimir smirked. "But... That doesn't mean I'll let you escape this time. I will give you a chance to survive until someone finds you here and at least hope they save you. But if not, it's not my fault anymore if you die... Just be patient." Vlad said in a casual tone.
Vladimyr no longer waited for Aliyah to gasp, she left her in that room and made her way back to the location where Lutherford was.
"Just one more left..." she mumbled while heading to the next location.
"Target F, accomplish. Target M, location? " Vladimyr usual to the speaker while carefully paving the path to where Lutherford will be.
Vladimyr again picked up a gun from Lutherford's staff lying on the floor before going further.
She was determined to end this problem and end the life of this man no matter what it takes.
Vladimyr discovered that the walking stick Lutherford always carried was a sword. Sword made of platinum. Its blade has a poison that can kill blood the moment it's blade meets the flesh. Noah told Lutherford's location. It's on the top floor and planning to escape.
"Let Lisa's team clear your way..."
"Make it fast..."
"Copy that ..."
Vladimyr's steps are big as she makes her way to the top floor, every step she takes. An opponent emerges from nowhere but she suddenly starts to fire before it can fire back at her. With the help of the sniper team around Lutherford's mansion, Vlad ran with all her force to Lutherford's spot and without a doubt, she gave him a powerful kick to the face.
The face of the man, over six feet tall and broad, tilted slightly. It also has a large body with a sign of fighting skills.
Lutherford grabbed Vladimyr's Foot then spun Vlad around and threw her away with all his might. Vladimyr could not immediately balance her body but she alertly recovered before hitting the concrete floor.
She immediately propped her palm to the floor and did a few backflips.
"How tough are you to have the courage to enter my territory, for a woman. Pretty interesting... "he said in a rough and deep voice.
"Is that a kind of complement, hmm, Lutherford?" Vladimyr grinned. The corner of Lutherford's lip twitched slightly as he coldly watched Vladimyr.
"Think about what you're going to think, woman." he said as he pulled the sword from its round sheath and formed a fighting stance.
Vladimyr gripped her knife tightly. She knew it would not be easy to knock down the bear-sized man in front of her. But she is a Lioness. And lioness isn't a coward one but clever and strong. She won't let this bear crush her down. "Show me what you have, Lutherford." Vladimyr mockingly challenged him.
Lutherford's mouth twitched and no doubt, he rushed at Vladimyr with the sword, successively raining down attacks on Vladimyr.
Every blow of its blade on the blade of her knife, took Vladimyr's strength.
"S-shit!..." Vladimyr's breath chased.
Vladimyr backed away when Lutherford again rushed in her direction with the sword, she jumped away from it towards the open door of another room to give herself some time to breathe.
"Ahh!" Vladimyr's groans stopped when Lutherford's kick hit her in the stomach. She roughly fell on her knees because of the pain in her stomach and the concern for the baby in her womb. Vladimyr glares at the man. She seemed pleased to see him.
"What's with that stare? Did I hit you bad, woman?" his calm posture makes Vladimyr shiver.
Vladimyr picked up the knife again then rushed at Lutherford with a more agile motion.
From the right, Vladimyr swung her knife towards the man but the man quickly dodge it with his sword.
Vladimyr already predicted it's next move, she grabbed another knife from her holster and pierced it on Lutherford's chest. Which the latter didn't expect. Lutherford's eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
Another knife was stabbed on the man's chest as Vladimyr stabilized herself, she then gathered all her strength and gave the man her hardest kick.
The man yelped in pain as he fell on his knees on the floor.
"W-what a clever woman you a-are ..." Lutherford uttered holding the wound on his chest as if he was trying to stop the gush of his blood.
"I should be ..." Vladimyr confidently reply. Holding her stomach, she again grabbed another knife from it's holster and rushed towards Lutherford, aiming to finish the fight.
"Let's see who'll die first, Mr." Vladimyr uttered as she began to match every hit of Lutherford's sword against her knife. Her moves are smoother and agil than the man, but he is stronger than her. Every hit breaks Vladimyr's strength and makes her stumble.
Vladimyr again grabbed another knife from her holster and successfully pierced the man's throat.
A sweet smile flashed on Vladimyr's lips as Lutherford lost his breath but she grunted when she felt the pain in her lower abdomen, followed by the blood burst from her mouth as she coughed. "Oh sh*t!"
Vladimyr's lips parted in disbelief as she bit her lower lip when she saw Lutherford's sword thrust in her lower abdomen.
"F-freak!"
Vladimyr gasped and clung to the nearby chair. She gathered all the courage she had before slowly pulling the sword out of her stomach. "Mhmp!"
She felt the blade cutting through her flesh, she breathed deep and squeezed her eyes tight.
Vladimyr stood up in tears, planning to leave that room but she was running out of energy and her vision got blurred.
"I-I can't die yet..."
Chasing the breath, Vladimyr mumbled. For some unknown reason, the image of the only man with whom her heart was beating registered in her vision. Luvien's impostor and twin brother, Lucien Ezquillon.
"A-alas ... I can't tell you how much Luvien's twin loves you. I love you. I'm sorry... I'm sorry because I left you. I'm sorry because I ruined our baby ... I-I'm not really mad at you, baby... My sexy baby ... " Vladimyr whispered. Her whole body is getting cold and her eyes are dimming at those times, her breathing gets ragged and thinner. Her heart was screaming for his presence. But she knew he would never come. This place is far from him. "L- Lucien ..."
